Not recommended in Kolkata summer as Aircon is not good enough. Go for it if your event is not in summer as other aspects are good. If you have booked for summer event, insist on switching on the Aircon 2-3 hours before guests arrive (we went by management recommendation of switching on 1 hour before and that was a big mistake) and also get a lot of fans.
Hired this hall - 1st & 2nd floor for hosting a evening dinner for about 300 guests.
Pros: 1) Well maintained 2) well behaved & professional staff, 3) easy to locate with glow signs, 4) all furniture come with the hall
Cons: 1) Airconditioning is weak. We ourselves and many of our guests ended up sweating inside the "air-conditioned" halls. Our most important criteria of choosing the venue was that we wanted AC for both seating and eating as our event was in peak Kolkata summer. This venue (1st floor seating, 2nd floor eating) promised a fully airconditioned experience. However, the aircon set to 22 barely managed to get temperature below 30. Management tried increasing power by running Genset and putting some fans which helped a bit but not much. Our guests had to take off coats and blazers, those who came from outside Kolkata really struggled and most were sweating when not directly in front of a fan. Food area (2nd floor) aircon was even worse.
2) Lack of transparency on decoration charges. You must use their decorator but you can talk to him only after you have made full non-refundable payment for hall. Decoration was good and done as per our requirement but very steeply priced; with decoration costs, hall charge nearly doubled for us.

There is only one room present in this venue, so in the time of occasions it will be hard to manage.

I attended one marriage reception on the ground floor which has one AC hall and lots of non-AC open are for buffet arrangements. It is quiet good for occasions during October - March.

Beautiful Place. But management team is a little casual. Water in Washrooms were not adequate. AC was moderately working. Over all an average experience

Very Nice place, extremely elegant. Has two separate spaces for Party. Can accommodate good amount of people. Food also was very good.

Any functions like marriage ceremony and annaprasan etc can be organised here.
It has AC.hall with lawn and a separate AC room with AC hall for such purpose

A very spacious and well decorated wedding venue. Well lit.enough room for people having food.enjoying comfortably. There's two separate room for rituals to take place.the place is also easily noticeable from main Street
