Park Sweets

I ordered sweet (rasgolla) and one size was shown. But I got the delivery when the size was too small. Be careful to open the package during delivery.

Very good Bengali style sweet shop between Park Circus crossing and Mullick Bazar. Rabri is a must try.

Surprising that some ppl could come up with negative reviews for this place. Any which way.a very passionate review. I have been consuming from this place since childhood. I stay 20 kms away from this shop and on the way many famous sweet shops fall. But whenever a beloved guest is at our place park sweets is where i will come.
If you also want to fall in love with this place do visit here in winters when the nolen gur sweets arrive.
I call their rasgollas, mildly sweet drops of heaven in your mouth. (Not an exaggeration)
To try out.definitely rasgolla, gulabjamun, abar khabo.
And to settle the debate. I am a hardcore foodie and very pedantic about sweets.
So be it bala, gangu, bancha, haldi or any ram, bheem etc, Park sweets is the best. (Reason: less sweet, unbelievably soft and fresh)
Criticism: bad shelf life, and after refrigeration the sweets won't taste as good, the next morning.so if you are carrying by flight probably don't indulge much.
Also between two owners, one of them can be really impolite.
Regarding hygiene, i do see them wearing gloves, but yes sometimes they don't.
Also don't try barfi and other generic sweets from here.although the laddus and gulab jamun stand apart.
Try any sandesh and the drops of heaven!

I fortunately went to this shop. All the sweets, are so good. And very pocket friendly. I ended up with ice cream. Every one should try.

This is by far the best sweet shop in the Park Street area. There is such a balance of taste, texture and sweetness in their products that most will love it. It's just amazing.

I tried my favourite rasogolla however, misti doi stole my heart for more! I have to try more sweets which Kolkata represents for! Sadly misti doi can't be taken in flight, I wish my family tried it. They packed rosogolla well for the flight too!
