Pawswell Pet Clinic

This place has the worst service ever! First of all y'all should scroll down and read all the reviews before enrolling your pets into this disastrous place. They are known for misdiagnosis and rude behavior to people. The bald doctor there has a very egotistical and mean nature. Also they have a tendency to dismiss stray animals. We took a very small and sick ill kitten there and immediately the staff started dismissing us because we were college students and the doctor was paying more attention towards a house pet dog. They have inadequate staff and the number of assistants are not enough. It had been two weeks and then by that time the doctor couldn't even determine the sex of the cat! Never go to this clinic if you want your pet alive or wish for a healthy recovery.

So why has the clinic cut off my cat's nipple for a spay surgery and neglected to inform me?

I took my kitten there for vaccination. The vet didn't even check pulse or overall health. The attendant and the vet didn't know how to handle a cat and put vaccine. My kitten has never cried or behaved like this before at any other clinic. No pet should have to go through this terrible experience.

I lost my baby.all thanks to a certain paravet currently working here. My cat had a urethral obstruction which needed immediate surgery. The people here thought it'd be a wise idea to forcefully shove in a catheter and cause massive bleeding from urethral tears. Later we got the surgery done at a different place and it was 100 percent successful. But because of the agressive catheterisation by them, he developed urethral stricture. We couldn't save him even after last option treatments like long-term catheterisation. Shame on them! I was told surgery wasn't possible and they refused to make any arrangements.but later we talked to Dr. Dutta personally who treated him in this clinic on Monday, and he said he most definitely could've been treated and was ready to do the surgery himself. I understand it was a miscommunication between us, the doctor and the clinic, but it ultimately took his life. Dr. Dutta's phone no.isn't available to patients, so we relied on you for communication and information. How could you tell us surgery isn't possible, when the doctor himself said the otherwise? If it wasn't for such agressive treatment by the paravet here, my boy would've been healthy and alive.

This is my 11 year old Lab who had a cardiac arrest on 19th. He was in lot of pain, vomitting number of times and collapsed completely. Considering his age, we had lost hope. I brought him to Pawswell clinic. The team immediately put him on medical support. Within six days he is fighting fit and back home.
I sincerely thank Mr Saibal and his team for all the hard work. The hospital has amazing facilities and more importantly amazing people. They genuinely love pets. Amount of effort they put in towards taking care of the pets is really praiseworthy. The experience and practical approach of Mr Saibal really worked. God bless team Pawswell.

It's not Pawswell. It should be PawsWorst. An irresponsible and Money Gasping organization.
I visited there for my cat's surgery. Initially I was asked Rs 7K, including everything (Med, PostOp, Dressing etc). But eventually just after the surgery I was asked to pay for post operative seperately. And eventually for first dressing too.
With no options left, we kept our pet to their paravet's home for post-op. Eventually we were not getting any update for a whole day, and later it was discovered the paravet was enjoying in Digha keeping my at home, maybe skipping all the salines, injections, meds.
We spent sleepless night with no update for a period appx 30+ hrs. By luck, we could rescue the pet on the next day and continued the post op at home.

Dr Dutta, who visits at Pawswell, also is a regular OPD doctor at Saltlake Animal Hosp, who is really one of the best surgeons in Kolkata. So par my experience it's very recommended to avoid Pawswell at any cost and visit him at the hospital itself, which is far far better.

I don't have any first hand experience at Pawswell, but my best friend had his cat's surgery from there. I was skeptic about leaving the cat there for post op since we didn't know these people and it's hard to trust people without our pets with so many bad experiences everywhere.and I stood corrected.even though the surgery went well, the post op did not.his cat was not comfortable there and was behaving very aggressively.the person who was supposed to do the post op took the cat to his own home and from the very next day that person didn't give a single update about the cat for the whole day.my friend kept trying calling him and texting for more than 24 hrs but he didn't respond.later, my friend came to know that the person entrusted with the post op had went for a quick trip leaving the cat at his home.he said that the cat got all care and meds from his father but how are we supposed to know or believe that? It's already hard to find people in kolkata to trust our cats with, and they only proved that right. I'll never go there myself or recommend anyone else to go.but the doctor that sits there Dr. Avijit Dutta is very good and can be trusted.

Trained and very well-behaved, responsive staffs.
Friendly for cats.
And also cat proofed.

I liked the place. The owner and staff behave well, well informed and the doctor is loving n caring towards pets. He has good knowledge. Medicines, tips and othwr items are available at the clinic itself.

Great place for your pet! The doctor is super good, helpful and kind. Even the staff are friendly. They even do grooming of your pet. 100% recommend it.

This is the one of the top most Poor quality and Third graded pet clinic in West Bengal. It's always harm your Pets Life and always play with your emotions. Management is too bad. Treatment quality is so Poor. And one of the most important information is owner is always show up himself as a doctor and officially Still he have not get any degree and experience as a Vetinary Doctor. Request to all don't go there to end of your Pet. Beware of Pawswell and Pawswell management.

Dr. Abhijit Datta and Shaibal Das are helpful and supportive. However the staffs whom they send home for injection/ saline etc are less educated. Please contact Doctor and follow doctor’s advice strictly.

Great place for pet related needs. Amazing staff that is helpful aa well as has all the needed knowledge. Also, all the facilities such as OT, or outdoor care, everything is realy updated and fulfils pet needs.

Absolutely brilliant service! I have taken my cats to vet clinics in Pune and Mumbai but Pawswell clinic is probably the best of them all. Be it the amazing heart of Saibal Da, who tirelessly tends to all animals, or all the super helpful staff who never forget to caress every pet that comes through the doors, Pawswell will take your beloved pet like one of their own.

As a pet parent, I am so relieved to have Pawswell to rely upon. So can you!

The person with blad hair and specs seems to be very egoistic. He thinks he knows everything and doesn't even care to listen us. Other staffs are good but this man got some problem. Be careful with him.

Even rating of 1 is very high for them. Saibal is so annoying, high pitch tone, bad behavior, tendency to push medicines, blood tests, without any logical reasons. Adjusts things with doctor before patient entry. Please don't visit this place, unruly and money making business. They have forgot the idea of service

Writing a review for @Pawswell would fall short of the gratitude I would forever have for them for saving my daughter. My daughter, Elsa, was born on the streets. One night, a bike ran over her, not once but thrice. When we found her, she was almost on her way out. We took her to a clinic wherein she was wrongly diagnosed. After looking up multiple options on Google, I found out about Pawswell Clinic, went through the reviews and decided to take my baby there and wasn't that the best decision of my life ever. Shaibal Da, Mousumi Di and the entire team of Pawswell not only revived my daughter but gave her the bounce and zeal in life. She's still undergoing treatment as her front paw's nerves maybe permanently damaged but I, as a parent, have FULL FAITH in Shaibal Da that he'll take care of my child. If only it were possible, I would surely give ALL THE STARS POSSIBLE to Pawswell Clinic for their immense support and dedication. Kudos to you all.

Seemed quite money minded. Did not trust them. But seems they have quite a good infrastructure. Not sure of quality of service.

Excellent service, compassionate towards animals, treats with care and love, honest to their customers, best equipments with a great oparetion theatre, emargency services are one in the best in kolkata, every team member is an animal lover, dedicated to their duty. Being a pet parent of lots of pets.it's a complete bliss to have a clinic like pawswell in kolkata. The whole concept was put up by Saibal das to have a clinic like this.thank him for that.

Shaibel Das did a horrible job spaying 4 of my dogs. He caused a deadly condition called Stump Pyometra. The clinic was totally unprofessional and Shaibel Das should not be caring for animals anywhere. He is a lying, greedy man and you would be smart never to trust him.

Stump Pyometra. Stump pyometra is a serious health condition that may occur in female dogs that underwent ovariohysterectomy (spaying), particularly if there is residual functional ovarian tissue. In this condition, the remaining stump of the resected uterus becomes infected and filled with a purulent fluid.

Stump Pyometra is only caused by faulty spaying. This was 100% Shaibel's fault.

Been there for the first time, had been looking around in couple of places to find a good, responsive clinic close by for my fur babies as they are in a complicated situation. I was referred by Moitri to Dr Avijit for surgery and I thank them to show me the right place. Dr Avijit is a very nice person, soft-spoken, listened to us patiently and explained the complications that may arise, also he wasn't in a rush like others to accommodate as many in limited time rather he was stretching his time. I'll fall short of words to describe Dr Avijit's humbleness and kindness. My furbaby's pyometra surgery was complicated given her age and the stage infection had reached but Dr Avijit didn't hesitate to perform surgery on her.

Update- Totally impressed, indebted by the entire team at Pawswell, Saibal da, Mousumi di, Babai, Debashish, Pompa and all of the staff. They have become an extended family for my furbaby after surgery, providing the best treatment, support, care & love my baby can get.

I want you guys to visit PAWSWELL CLINIC if you want proper care and guidance from experts to keep your pets safe, healthy and happy. I would like to serve a very big word of Thank You and Appreciation to the excellent services you rendered to us by SHAIBAL DADA the owner of the PAWSWELL CLINIC. When I first visited the clinic on 1st July 2019 with my last hope that I can save my little one from her life threatning critical condition and by God’s grace my last hope gets succesful only after came to this clinic by someone’s (god angle) recommendation. It was indeed a very good experience to visit the clinic again and again. All the staff’s are well experienced and trained, extremely good and caring and also polite towards their patient… My furr baby was the patient of DR GOPAL SAMANTA (gold medalist in surgeon). He is an excellent high profile doctor and very knowlegeable, experienced and very caring towards his patients. He saved my little one at the last stage of her serious condition. At that time she was suffering from various diseases like Babesia (due to babesia she had dangerous body infection), UTI, Anemia, Belly skin Thining, Belly Bloating, Hematuria, Hepatitis. After getting excellent treatment here she got well and recovered totally after 6 month of her best treatment under Dr. Gopal Samanto, Shaibal Das and his team. They gave their best to save my dog…. I am thankful to God that I found the no 1 best Vet clinic in the Kolkata. My pet was treated very well and even he felt like home. Dr. Gopal Samanta, Shaibal dada and his team were God for me. They were always ready to help me at any hour of the day in my serious situation…. Shaibal Dada is a very experienced and knowlegeble, caring, professionally trained and a very good person. I frequently visit this clinic for my pet (indian cat). They literally saved my two fur babies.staffs r very supported and trained. I fully recommended this clinic for your pets.you can trust them blindly.

The personnel at the Clinic are professional, efficient and very much reliable.

The personnel of the clinic responds always even outside clinic hours, over phone, providing all necessary advice required for the pets.

Pawswell- mr shaibal das & team. I would like to serve a big word of thanks and appreciation for the services you rendered to us yesterday 30 th July 2020.

The incident was a stray dog who goes by the name by Kali was actually attacked and developed a 7 inch deep cut in her stomach.

She was in a lot of pain when we found her in the night and by the afternoon she was infested with maggots.

Mr Shaibal Das and Mr Rajib Dutta coordinated and administered first aid right away.

A day later she was taken to the clinic for all dressing.

Today with the help of the locals #kali was shifted to a shelter under Mr Rajib Dutta to recuperate and she would be returned to us in a week time once her wounds are better.

I saw two sides of humans in the entire incident.

One to the heartless side of humans who knifed a poor voiceless animal

Second to the Humans who came forward and took #kali under their care to nurse her back to health.

I am sure humans would definitely commit such henious acts again.

But thanks to the almighty for people like Shaibal Das & Rajib Dutta and the entire team of @pawswell who rushed to her help.

I salute the fighting spirit of #kali who fought through all the pain and hope she recovers fast and back to our locality again.

Last but not the least to Glenda Dgama who coordinated the entire transport for #kali to the clinic and back.

Very much well behaved personel. Owner Saibal Das Da very helpful and respond in a very well manner. In 11 at night he answers call in 3 rings. I apologise for not knowing all supporting stuffs, but hats off to 1 guy and he is Saikat Da. He will grab your heart after 1 meet. Keep it up.

I recommend this clinic for everyone.the behavior of all staffs are too good and Soibal Da is one of the most decent person and the doctor is really excellent.
