Great budget option for a dineout. Lots of good food options & the quantities are sufficient.

I went there 1week ago.there was a egg shell in my gravy noodles. Before also I got stale fish in my fish fry. Some items are good though

Penguin Restaurant located just beside Danesh Shaikh Lane bus stand, is like an Oasis in the middle of desert.

Both the quality and quantity of food served here are decent enough. Indian, Chinese etc cuisines are available here.

I have went there with some expectations, but they failed to reach the taste and quality of food, mutton biryani was an avarage quality, even some less popular resturant make better quality of these. Mutton pieces are small and not well cooked, it was not soft but little bit hard, biriany was full of oil

Good food at great price. Lovely place to visit with your family and friends. Quantity and quality superb.

Good food, Good quality, Good service and reasonable rates, middle class family can easily afford the rates, just enjoy delicious food

We ordered Fried Rice one veg fried rice another mushroom fried rice quantity is enough for an adult. One bowl per person if you are planning to eat rice and chili chicken. We also ordered Chili Chiken and Garlic Chicken both were boneless. Taste was too good. My friends told me that this Restaurant serves Halal Chicken so it was good for me. The only drawback was lighting at that restaurant and little space not so comfortable but delicious food approx 200 per head came our bill for 4ppl.

Love their food. They are tasty & pocket friendly. But I kinda hate their ambience. I Don't know why they kept their place in so much yellowish light that seems dark & hazy.

I don't know why people are mad about this third grade restaurant. I hv visited around 25 times as of now as it is very near to my house but always found the food very average. It is for those people who never tasted good food.

It is a good restaurant in the locality which serves a wide variety of dishes at an affordable price. The cleanliness and ambiance is quite good and is worth mentioning. There is an AC hall on first floor and a non AC hall on ground floor. One among good restaurants in area, I found it difficult to get another one like this nearby.

Nice restaurant with good food quality. Specially Nun and any chicken dishes are good. Don't go for biriyani as they are quite dry to eat.

It's good. I won't eat every so much item from it.but I ate 3-4 item and that was too good.their mixed fried rice is so good.loved it

If u visit the inside kitchen it's very much dirty. Secondly they store food for long periods like mushrooms.

One of the oldest restaurant in howrah, food quality so so.they don't use the proper fish. DNT try biriyani there but Chinese foods are good.u can try chilli garlic fish.must try kadhai chicken n polao.u can try noodles also

Its the oldests resturant of the area. Quality is still very good. Ambience is also good. The price is cheaper compare to other restaurant of same category.

They provide very good quality food cheap and best nice ambience it's a family restaurant. I just love this restaurant

The food was good (Indian) don't expect anything in terms of service as the staffs are not at all professional. They will misguide you as they told me that their tandoori roti are made of 'atta' but actually when they served it it was of flour. Still they did not confess and kept arguing

This place and this restaurant is not so popular, I recommend please taste the food of this restaurant, it's awesome and also price worthy.

It has a very small dining space. You have to wait for 10-20 min for a table during weekend as it is one of the few restaurants in the locality. The food and ambience is okay. Not a place to visit if you are looking for something different.

Not a quiet great place to hang out. Very clumsy. Narrow place. Furnitures were also too old for this days. Only thing to highlight is the price.
