The food here is super tasty. We had Pav bhaji, Chole Bhature and Shezwan fried rice.everything we had was good.

The food taste is exceptionally bona fide and nothing has a lot of progress over the time. There chelo kabab is the most well known and signature dish in Peter cat. They keep on pleasing with the food. It's damn delicious, First time I visited here and I truly appreciate there administration and Cordiality.furthermore, most significant is their food.great quality food is served here.

Once i came across this shop, i could see a lot of crowds near the shop gathered to have Pani Puri. The system followed here is the coupon system. There is a wide range of vegetarian options available here. There are 2 floors above this shop which consist of a good seating place. You can have the local food with great options available. It is quite cost effective and a good place to chill out with friends once you are exhausted with shopping and stuff. Refreshing juices and chatpata chat is also available here.

Bandra has been the heart of Mumbai City after churchgate. You would definitely enjoy it here in the elco market even if you r window shopping.

The market value is also quite good. You can bargain with a few things and get a good variety of clothes, accessories, etc. I would suggest to keep looking and not stick to one shop, cuz you will always come across better options once you move to the next.

One of Mumbai's oldest and best places! Cramped but compensates with good food. Excellent spread. Great milkshakes. The service is a little slow and lacks attention - depending on which table and level you are at.

Good place to purchase clothes of all varieties. Although a bit crowded, but worth visiting.

A very average restaurant. Food is also average.have ordered for rava dosa the chatnis n sambar were not at all good.

Always great to come back and enjoy these Indian snacks in a clean and friendly atmosphere. (Only the a/c is a trouble.)

Truly a street experience. The Easter egg is the Anime Store located inside the 'Elco Restaurant'. Was surprised to see the collection there.

Elco market hardly gets crowded nowadays, but around elco market entire hill road market is awesome, get branded clothes on roadside if you're a smart shoper.

Elco is the one of the most famous food joints in Mumbai's Bandra. This place is known for many of the dishes but specially for it's chaat. They have a variety of options in food and the tastes never disappoints.
One can either stand and eat or sit upstairs.
The place is usually crowded in evenings and on weekends.
Car parking is the biggest issue here so plan accordingly

This market is always busy. Can't walk freely without bumping into others. They have great stuff. Lots and lots of interesting food and savoury. A must visit when I am in Mumbai. They have fresh stuff, not out of date stuff. Service is good and fast. Prices are reasonable.

One of the oldest shopping center in Bandra. Huge variety of ladies garments. Very little for gents. Bargaining is a must in practically every shop

This market is the best market in Bandra in my opinion. You can get really trendy stuff here for just a cheap amount of money. There are all the latest trends available here which we see online. Many dupes and sometimes original items are found here. You have to bargain sometimes to get a steal deal. Right from clothing, footwear, accesories, everything is available here and that too for a cheap price. I highly recommend visiting this market if you are into fashion!

Food has gone to dogs. No taste of any kind. Loud and noisy place

Had pav bhaji and dosa which were delicious. Food served is fresh and yummy. Been my favourite place since childhood. Very crowded at evenings & night. One of the Bandra’s heart. You should definitely try their chaats and South Indian food. The sambhar was great Affordable prices and hygiene maintained.

Hated everything beginning from the ambience to the food and staff behaviour.
The plates and glasses were not clean at all.

I ordered for fish fingers as starters, for the main course chelo kebabs, plain steamed rice and Mutton Nawabi.
The fish fingers were stale, the fish had a rotten smell. The steamed rice was ghee rice (written as pulao in the bill), with excessive amount of ghee and salt in it, which we didn't ask for. For a plate of steamed rice they charged Rs. 205 which is not even sufficient for 1 person. The mutton nawabi was simple. Nothing extraordinary. The mutton pieces were not cooked properly. The chelo Kebab was served after 30 mins. The kebabs very half burnt and half uncooked. One portion had excess salt, while the other kebab didn't have salt in it. The sunny side up wasn't upto the mark. For desserts, I ordered Brownie with vanilla ice cream. Tasted average, but not worth the money. Extremely hated the food. It's expensive, as they call it a fine dinning restaurant, yet it's not 'fine' at all.
THE SERVING PLATES ARE BEYOND IMAGINATION. ITS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURE, YOU'LL GET AN IDEA.
Coming to the staff behaviour, it's very ignorant, yes they were well dressed, but very casual with the behaviour, the food was not served. The food tastes like it has been heated on the microwave oven, and cooked last night, yet the serving time is long.

ITS NOT A GOOD DECISION AT ALL TO EAT HERE, ATLEAST ON A SPECIAL DAY.

Located on the busy Park Street this place is always bustling with diners. No advance booking is available so you might have to wait for around 15 mins before getting a table.
Do try out their signature Chelo Kabab and the Fish starters.

The food was good. There are different varieties of foods,
But the rush was too high so that I had to wait for hours to get a seat inside

The worst dine in place in kolkata I ever had, they makes the worst dishes, waiters asks for tips after such a worst food ever, we bought two different dishes but both were served in same flavour and same garnishment, I would suggest no one to visit this place ever in his/her life.

Peter Cat is one of the oldest heritage restaurants of Kolkata. Apart, from the famed "Chelo Kabab, even other dishes are excuisite. Also, they serve alcohol and various cocktails/mocktails. The only catch is the eternal crowd which always graces the rest5.

The ambience of this place is pretty authentic.
Mutton Chello Kebab was my favourite. Must try that.

They have a super long wait time
So they could improve on that aspect by atleast doing via-call or online booking.
The food is superb hence the long queue and maybe after you eat the food, it'll be worth it

You will probably have to wait 30-40 mins to get into the restaurant but every time i have felt it is worth the wait. Extremely busy and very old traditional restaurant. We have tried Chelo Kabab, Chicken Marakesh, Chicken Steak Sizzler, out of which I personally liked the Chicken Marakesh most. In dessert you can try Tutti Fruity or Brownie.

Chelo kabab is overrated tbh. It was good but not good enough to be hyped up. We also ordered sahi chicken korma with naan. One naan can easily be enough for one person. Sahi korma was average. In the time of lunch, the place is bit crowded.

For a Bong this place is a mecca. An iconic institution which is consistently serving quality food for years. The waiting Queue depicts that. This place is known for their Chicken Irani kabab, Fish Makhmali, Nali Ghost, The good old Chelo kabab, Afgani chicken and Sizzlers.
Worth mentioning the Beckty Meunier, baked Chicken, creme caramel and Souffle of the day

The food is just fine. But the managers are rude and have no manner to talk to people.
And yes, keep in mind, that if you are going to have a take away they won't even allow you to go inside the restaurant and you will have to sit on a dirty white chair kept infront of entrance.
I mean seriously, I visited this place because it has a name. It was my first visit to kolkata and first restaurant and this was a totally bad experience.
Please respect your customers. And possess humility.

Still amazing as ever. Would love a few expansions on the dessert menu. The staff are amazingly courteous and accommodating. The food of course is iconic. And that's not just about the chelo kebab. There is lots to explore!

If someone is interested to tast the original taste of "chello kabab" & the hot "sizzler", then this is the only place to visit in Kolkata, rather i should say in India.

Slow service, it was not slow. Very very slow. The food is good but what’s the point of good food when the service and the staffs are incompetent. I recommend this restaurant for people who wants to have lunch at 5pm. I was here at 3 in the restaurant. Do not go on the name of the restaurant.

Well known among the food lovers.we had paid several visits.trying out various items.but.chelo kebab remains common everytime.

Along with the nearby Mocambo restaurant, this is one of the city's oldest establishments, with an atmosphere that harkens back to its early days in the 1960s. The chello kebab here—a dish with biriani-style rice (flavored with saffron or turmeric), egg, butter, two mutton kebabs, and one chicken kebab—is one of the most popular dishes in Kolkata. The dining room is intimate, with white stucco walls, Tiffany-style lamps, and soft lighting; the menu is a mixture of good Continental and Indian dishes, especially tandoori fare.

Had the chicken chelo kebab, it's a pretty great meal! I went for lunch on a Tuesday so it was relatively empty and I didn't have any wait time. Not sure I would wait in line to eat here considering the amazing places nearby though.

Pathetic experience. The service was extremely slow, food was really disappointing and so was the serving portions. They gave me limca when asked for lime soda! Also, i waited 1/one and half hour for my order which was just chicken curry with tandoori roti. And when it arrived, the portion was Just for one person that too provided in broken utensils. Very bad experience. Won't go back again.

Ambience was nice as always but compared to my last visit I found lack in their hospitality, which used to be the great earlier. Food has retained its taste as earlier. Vinegar Onions, different sauces were also missing from the table.

Awesome food and ambience is just next level. Previously when I visited the place, it was very suffocated due to presence of smoke of the sizzler. But now it has improved and we faced no suffocation. There was a wait of about half an hour although we visited on Friday at about 2.00 P. M. We tried the original chelo kabab, chicken steak sizzler and bheti muniyar and each and every food was just awesome and next level, that one cannot make anyone understand by a review, and also it is famous for its chelo kabab and sizzler for more than 20 years. A small I would like to say it that they accept all cards and online payments through wallets and upi. Dineout pay is also accepted. I have an offer in dineout pay and got flat ₹500 off in my total bill.

The food is top notch and the ambiance is to die for. There is a decent rush during lunchtime and you'd do good to go there before 12: 30. Unfortunately the bar was closed when we went there, so better call and ask beforehand.

After 25 years and probably double the amount of visits later, I can say that this place has lost its glory. The Cello kebab that they served today got me sick in half a day. Should have guessed that there was something wrong when the butter didn't get melted by the warmth of the rice, which wasn't warm at all.
From now on, I'll not be looking forward to visit here on my hometown vacations.

Well, I was longing to visit this famous restaurant - hope it's just not hyped as yet! Went with my family.
Ambience- bit dim, not something that I prefer, but it's ones personal choice. You may.
Staff- well dressed, royally done! How clean? Can't say, in that dim aura.
Hygiene- okay, no temperature check was done
Facilities and comfort- AC was over chilling kids were complaining their staff said it's central AC can't help much. Toilet tap can be sensor-based (fitments are not so costly) surely will make customers feel safe. There should be a hand dryer pleaseee.
Food (most important) - was awesome (we ordered chicken tandoori, Indian bread, fish masala). By mistake they served mutton masala and we had to wait for the right order, but that's okay. It happens (no points deducted)
Services (another important thing) - felt that the staff was bit complacent. Come on! If you are Peter then you need to be consistent. With kids we are always in want of some extra, and that little extra service will surely go a long way.
Sum up- I know it's not 5 but you guys are supposedly one of the best in Kolkata. I think management can do some additional supervision. Please accept this rating, this was an honest one when compared to your grandeur. All the best!

They took so much time to prepare and serve the food. We had ordered Chichen Bharta and taste was not the good at all (not up to the mark). Roadside dhabas has better taste than what we have experienced here. We also had ordered 2 butter naan. It felt like they had prepared the naans early just before serving they heat it

We ordered the one and only famous Chelo Kebab. One portion of the kebab was too much salty, we couldn't eat. Also the portion is a lot less than expected. One plate is not enough for one person. Service was good, though we had to wait a lot.

First time I visited this place on a special occasion of my sister's aiburobhat. We ordered chelo kebab which was a must one to try and we had one fish starter.
In drinks we had strawberry blossom. It was one of the nicest drinks i had in years.

They made us wait for literally 35mins before they came up w one plate of chelo kebab and chicken salad. And the chelo kebabs didn't taste that good either. Very disheartening to see them being so late in serving plus serving good which aint of that expected quality

First time visitor here! Finally had the much raved about Chelo kebabs, both chicken and mutton. They were quite well prepared and cooked. Taste was pretty good. I think it all comes down to the whole romance involved in the process of waiting in queue, desperately waiting for your name to be called out in order to actually be able to get a seat here. And then the famous end product, that is the Chelo, hits your table and makes it worthwhile!

There nothing new to brag about Peter Cat. Chelo kabab and Sizzlers are mouth watering.
Due to covid Norms you will have to wait outside because only 50% sitting is allowed inside the restaurant. Though I don't understand the logic behind this, 50% occupancy inside and crowded outside

One of Kolkata treasures. Serves north indian and continental foods. Quality is stand out. Some of the signatures dishes are Dum ki run, Chello Kebab, Betki Mounier etc. One of the best in serving sizzlers. Also offers a wide range of cocktails and regular drinks.

Worst restaurant in Park Street. We visited the restaurant on Saturday afternoon. It was a pathetic experience. The Stuart who was attaining Table no 40, was an ill mannered idiot. He doesn't know, how to treat the customers. May he forgot, that he is getting his salary for the customers. The waiters won't change the plates, after you finish your starter. If you ask them, then also they will deny to do so. After all these stupidity, they will stand like street dogs, in front of your table for tips.
The food was horrible. I never ate sweet tasting Tandoori chicken in my whole life. The grilled chicken sizzler was awful. The chef needs some training for preparing good dishes. We will never visit this restaurant again and will not refer anyone to go there.
Thre are many more good restaurants, with tasty food and well behaved staff in Park Street.

A very nice and elegant place and very good ambience.the food was very nice and their sizzlers are their signature dish which i enjoyed a lot.the only complaint was on the service as it took a lot of time to even give a slush.the waiters followed protocol for the covid-19 and overall it was a nice place.but i can advice you this- You all HAVE to try the special steak sizzler

Worst experience ever. Food was cold and soooo distasteful. So guys do yourself a favour and don't go there.

The ambiance of the place was good.
Food is also good, the kababs were awesome.there is one dish named i guess fish makhmali that was fabulous, but the most surprising part was their signature dish, the most pathetic food i ever had, excessively overrated full of butter on rice plus that mutton sikh kabab it was yukk.but yes the other food tasted good. Does this place need any introduction? Well it doesn't. The one n only address of the famous, yummy, mouth watering chelo Kebab which is a must try. As they say you must have Peter Cat's chelo kebab once in a life time. Apart from chelo kebab what I had was a very special dish mutton dum ki raan. If you order half plate it will be enough for two people. Bar is closed nowadays due to covid and on weekends you will face rush though their arrangement is superb, well sanitized tables and all. Place is over hyped. Located in prime location of Kolkata - Park Street, this is one of the oldest fine dines in the locality thronged by patrons all over Kolkata, adjoining areas and international tourists. Food is not great but good.

Sitting space should be increased as it's always overcrowded. Waiting outside for hours and hours is really a torture. The inside light should be increased as old people can't see the stairs.

Petercat is a must visit for all food lovers.the mixed sizzler and the chello kebab offer an experience that's second to none.and a diverse range of cocktails would surely quench your thirst.

A famous restaurant, there since 1975, a landmark place in park street. I have started coming here a decade ago. I love the chelo kabab here. One must try this dish when coming for 1st time. Attaching a photo of the dish. I am giving 4 stars because I think they should consider changing their age old carpet and signature red sofas with few torn upholstery.

We saw totally different crowd over here. We found youngsters chilling with their group. They were wearing modern outfits, which we did not see anywhere else in Kolkata. It was a great hangout place. The food was beyond delicious, the ambience was beautiful and staff was also courteous and helpful. It was overall an amazing experience.

Wanted to tick this off from my bucket list from long time, finally it's done. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice. Although there was a little waiting but that was compensated by the good service. Tried the famous Chello Kabab. It was no doubt delicious especially the mutton sheek kabab (one of the best I had till date) but I felt it to be little over-hyped.

Bekar. I did not understand why people are so crazy about chelo kebab. Its tastes so bad. The kabab has no taste and so hard. The rice seems like simple ghee rice made from jharna ghee. Should be rated negative star.

Nostalgic about Kolkata? This place has been preserved. Almost like a historical trinket. Even the dirty carpets are same or worse. The famous Chelo kebab Is now an oily dish with a bad after taste. Over rated hype now.

Peter cat andMocambo are same themed. But Mocambo is far better. Mocambo gives privacy and the ambience is really peaceful. Petercat is good but if you are looking for peace and privacy then it's a wrong idea. Good for groups, parties.
