Very good experience, Seating experience was good and picture and sound quality good. Classic is the best seating place to watch the movie.

Hall is very nice and has comfortable seats. But no food and beverage option available.
Wheel chair access is not possible here.

Saw Nun 2 a horror movie at Priya Cinema. Enjoyed the movie. The getup has been properly maintained of the premises & I had a good viewing experience. A. K. Lamba

The environment is good. Theatre is very neat and clean. Sound quality is also very clear.

Never ever visit. The ticket person gave the 100's ticket & took 200 rupees. & After claiming it they says everything is cleared. Just scammed!

Overall a good theatre to watch movies.but i would not recommend the box seats.its old seats and not proper view to the screen and not cleaned.uncomfortable

I like Priya more than all those mall multiplexes where it often smells of all kinds of food. Also, why should I pay 3-4 times the price? The ticket prices start at 100 on weekdays. However, it is not completely wheelchair accessible as you need to lift the wheelchair above a 4“ high boarder to access the lift. The lift boy always helped us lift the wheelchair across it and we never faced problems accessing Priya with a wheelchair.

Recently I went to Priya cinema hall to watch the OMG2 on weekends. In my opinion it is the best cinema hall in less budget where the ticket price starts at just rs 100. I visited this cinema hall first time and I think the lower circle is better than the balcony. The sound quality is nice too & full A.c.
However due to less ticket prices the place is crowded during weekends and it becomes very noisy during movies. Otherwise it is the best cinema hall in my opinion. Food is also cheap and the ambience outside is very picturesque. The nearest metro station is Kalighat metro station and nearest landmark is Lake Mall

Good place for hangout with friends.ambience is good really liked it. Good quality food at the restaurant make it more attractive for revisiting. It's pocket friendly and Not costly like other multiplex movie theatre.picture quality and sound is very good. Budget friendly restaurant is an added advantage. Liked it.

Great! Comfortable seating arrangement, very good sound & nostalgic feelings when see through a vintage car standing for showbiz reflection. Worth to for movie and enjoyment

It was good before.but now below average. I think thet should upgrade screen and sites they are not in good position. Now on the most of people going to multiplex, so after that people bacame feel uncomfortable

One of the best and oldest theatre in kolkata, you can take your snacks here because there was no checking at entrance I have no idea that they are allowed or not, the shops inside charges extra money over MRP this should be stopped.sound quality is awesome, screen size is normal not too big, picture quality is awesome but brightness is little low, if there could be air conditioners instead of fans the sound quality will be amazing, if possible buy classic seats coz the seats are really very much comfortable and adjustable.

The movie hall was quite good, the ticket prices are reasonable, but food are costly here, overall I would give 4 out of 5 stars

Recliner seats were comfortable but the first row view gets a little blocked by front row luxary recliner ones. Apart from that everything is fine. Also they are using thermal gun. But there's no social distancing anymore.

Great place to experience an old school cinema hall, though food and beverage options are extremely limited and ac could be better.

A great budget cinema hall where one can enjoy all the top notch Indian, foreign and as well as Bengali super hit cinemas. Cozy seats are available and in house snacks are also available. A place to go and enjoy a couple of hours watching a movie and enjoying on a weekend. The seating and internal arrangements are of very good standard

Balcony ticket value are comparable with multiplexes, but lift facility is available for very limited people. Either they should construct a larger lift, or reduce the value of balcony tickets. In spite of my knee problems, I had to climb stairs.

A centrally located cinema hall screening mostly Bengali n English movies. Good to go with family.

This is an old, erstwhile traditional stand-alone movie Hall. One of the last remaining of it's kind "Uniplex" in Kolkata, you can except. Pretty old, and very unlike the multiplexes that dominate cities now.  

Priya is a traditional cinema house backed by contemporary outlook of organisation towards prevailing trend and customers' need. From selection of movies to booking over internet and reasonably good quality of picture and sound, makes Priya a desired destination. Location is undoubtedly an added advantage. Owner has been lucky to get many sponsors like CCD, Pepsi, etc to refurbish the place at one point of time. But that was ages ago and just due to popular movie this hall brings to the crowd, and for that, there is a heavy footfall especially at weekends. This hall has managed to keep its head above water when nearly half of Kolkata's cinema halls have gone into oblivion without trace over last two decades.  

Flocked and frequented by many bengali celebrities and the ticket prices kept at affordable range there is always the rush of visiting this place at any point of the day be it a morning, evening or the night shows. Its fully "BANGALIANA".

The picture quality of video and audio is quite good but better if you sit in the gallery. The only con that I found out was that the 3D glasses were very cheap and they had a lot of scratches. That caused some picture blurring here and there.
This hall wasn't meant for 3d and have been retrofitted in the recent years to allow for 3D, which makes it kind of a hit and miss experience.

However, there is a need to modernize the seating, especially for such a huge movie hall. The food stalls also need a good upheaval. It will certainly create more customer comfort, and will be a good complement to the cultural feel. Hope you get stronger, better and vibrant, Priya!

Facilities are not as per with the multiplexes but prices, at many times, are. No proper wating place.

Simply awsome. Recliner seats are the best at the cost. Only disadvantage is that no waiting lobby. Its very tough when it rains.

Convenient location. Hall could do with some renovation. Stair climbing will be a problem for elderly. One small lift is available. Brightness of projected picture needs improvement.

Never commit the mistake of visiting here for a 3D movie.the experience is gruelling to say the least

The crowd, ambience and location of the theatre is decent. Screen quality, sound and chairs are comfortable.

Its a cinema hall but clean one and well suited for family and even couples. Mostly bemgali movies are screened and rarely some most awaited hindi and hollywood movies. No facility for free drinking water and no food counters like malls. Overall a good experience in the price range.

Seating arrangement is not comfortable. From balcony to screen view half half. All out need good atmosphere to enjoy cinema compare than PVR.

New renovated Priya Cinema looking super. Sound system is like bullet! Balcony's Classic seates are very comfortable. Watching movies from these couches are really enjoyable.

Great place to spend time with your family if you are a cinema lover.
There are restaurants inside the place so there will be no problem in grabing some great delicacies to enjoy along with your film.

I recommend this place. Truly a great experience!

I don't recommend this place for movie outings.the screen quality is not worth your hard earned money
