Swimming pool needs urgent renovation and cleaning. Rest everything is great. Food is on costlier side. Service is good.

Over-hyped place. The quality of food is below standard. Executive rooms, which cost 4k, are the same as 1* oyo. It may be suitable for a bunch of indiscipline people who would like to drink and dance in the swimming pool after the dark.

Resort with a great view and amazing hospitality, it's a value for money deal for whoever wants to visit, Ideal for social events like wedding and event group events.

The location is great. You will enjoy the view. Rooms are ok. Food is ok too. While charging so much we expected few things more. There's no hair dryer and room slippers. These things are chargeble. The balcony walls were dirty, had water mark. Did not get hot water in bathroom. These things needs to be improved when you are charging such premium amount from customers.

Rooms were so small. Bathrooms were so small and very dirty. We had booked premium cottage villa rooms but not worth the price. Food wasn't up to the mark. We got complimentary breakfast but there was very least menu and if once any food got empty then it'll take at least 20 mins to refill it. All over, they need to work on their rooms or less the price. That's it.

Resort is very good,
Atmosphere is also very iconic but the location is not suitable. It is 58 K. M away from Salimar Railway station.

Room we booked 304, not maintain at all. Damp walls. Dirty curtains. Bath matt is hand towel. Dirty bath room gadgets.
Evening snacks we ordered fish finger whichs was smelling too bad. Chicken items was so hard. Unable to chew. Even street food is better compare to your morning breakfast.
It's better we should not talk about swimming pool
I have visited this place before, but this time it's very much disappointed. Only best staff I found Mr. Ganesh In restaurant.

Nice place to spend a dayout with friends or family, Resort is situated on the side of the Ganga river.natural beauty is enjoyable, from October ridding is available.if the group consists of 6member they offer a package. It included breakfast lunch, and evening tea or coffee with snacks. For children a separate playing area and swimming pool is there.

I have been a regular visitor of this property for last 10 years, but this time I was very disappointed, the property use to accommodate family guest with senior citizens and children. M very sorry to say that the senario has changed drastically. People were getting drunk on the open ground and the poolside creating an environment which were not suitable for family outing.
The buffet food spread had decreased.
The food quality has decreased drastically.
It can be understood very clearly that the hotel management us no more worried about the crowd quality and the environment in the hotel. If the same continues in future the hotel might earn from corporate tie ups but tourists travelling for family weekend would slowly be forced to move towards the competitors in the area.
The main usp of the hotel was the loaction and the open ground which is again getting covered with concrete structures.
Previously there use to be play a soft and smoothing line music throughout the property.but shocked to hear such loud music been played at the pool side from loud speakers
The management needs to understand that the hotel is a premium property in that area and should be kept like that.

Loved the property. A perfect weekend getaway from Kolkata, to relax with family, or chill with friends. Located right in front of the river, good food, especially for fish lovers. But, the entrance from the main road is confusing and a very narrow road.

A relaxing getaway from the busy kolkata life.situated on the banks of Ganga in Diamond Harbour.with great rooms including cottages along with sprawing lawns.very clean nd hygienic pools.the garden is well maintained with variety of flowers nd trees.
The restuarant serves north indian.bengali nd Chinese cuisines nd they will custum make dishes according to your demand.food is delicious nd prices reasonable.the buffet breakfast is also quite good.except the coffee.
On the minus side.housekkeping needs to improve.the room nd bathroom doors needs elephant strength to open.keeping in mind the danger it poses for kids nd elderly people.the bathrooms needs to me modernised.my suggestion is that they use golf carts to transport people especially the elderly from the reception to the cottages.overall a beautiful place very well maintained.very warm nd nd I would really want to go back in near future.

Over hyped.if u want to enjoy Ganga shores and boating and swimming pool den dis place is recommended and families should prefer villas as rooms are very small

Very rude behaviour of the staffs and the general manager. Due to severe medical emergency we couldn't manage to go there and we asked a reschedule booking just for 1 night stay, but they roughly denied. This is so unexpected and gross!

I have stayed in this property earlier and had a fair experience. However, after the recent trip my opinion has changed, the overall quality has deteriorated greatly!
While taking a booking they didn't bother to confirm that the rooms are under renovation and swimming pool will not be available.

Undoubtedly the best resort in Diamond harbour. This is my third visit to the hotel because I love whole ambience of the property. The location is mind-boggling. The staff is very well mannered and extremely helpful. This time the buffet breakfast disappointed me a bit. There was a corporate event going on so the attention was perhaps not on regular boarders. Hope this minor flaw will be corrected in future. I strongly recommend this place

We visited the resort on 24th and 25th September 2022. We booked a presidencial cottage. The property is not well maintained. The room are too small and there was a water leakage from AC. Bathroom were not clean and has old fittings. Shower was not working properly. After a complaint the Resort staff changed our room. But the other room was of same condition. Lunch and dinner was nice but the breakfast was horrible. We order a birthday cake from the resorts bakery, the cake was tasteless and the base was too hard, the chef himself admitted that the base was 2days old and was kept in the fridger by one of the kitchens staff. Overall we had a very unpleasant experience.

Good thing:
1. Food quality and quantity though fish finger was not up to the mark

2. Location is good

Bad thing:
1. Hospitality is worst
2. Reception is extremely rude
3. TV doesnot work in room
4. Bathroom is stinky
5. I didnt find the room is worth of the price

The Resort as it is is a lovely place just beside the river bank. And the lawn is the resort is well maintained.food here.a Big no.very simple food.and a bit heavy on the cost side.the room service.is OMG. Bad.infant very bad. They have 90 rooms.roo.s ranges from 2k to 12K.the property has a good swimming pool, the same is well maintained.

View from so called "river facing" super deluxe rooms and their ambience not satisfactory at all for the rent charged.suite rooms though fabulous are exorbitantly expensive

Regulations not strict enough.revellers availed pool at midnight, way after stipulated time limit of 8pm

Room service (house keeping) at times slow.

Authorities can take measures to clean the river bank at times of low tide when all the plastic waste and garbage come afloat and settle on the boundaries of the property itself.did not find any such endeavor

Food quality is not satisfactory, behaviour of staffs are very rude. Price of food is unjustified high. But ambiance is good.

Prices are abnormally high for cold drinks, Sweets. One piece sweets (Rasagolla) priced Rs. - 70. Pepsi bottle costing 30 Rs costing 64-65 Rs.otherwise location bis good

It is definitely a good property with a very good location. Bit overpriced compared to other similar kinds of hotels available there, specially Sagarika. The kind of service food available there is good but does not fully justify the price. For value conscious travelers this may not be the best option.

I have done day outing at this resort on a couple of occassions but have never stayed for the night. So I can only speak for the said experience, which has been fabulous. A mere 50kms from Kolkata, this is a such a cool place to chill. Situated right by the river at Diamond Harbour, the property has such a posh feel to it, that, just by looking at the pictures people might mistake it for abroad. There's a lunch buffet on the weekends only; for the price of 650INR per person, and it is one of tastiest buffets I have ever had. Eat to your heart's content and then sit by the river on the beautiful garden to watch the sunset. Weekend sorted!

Room conditions deteriorated.
Though the service, they even remained unmoved even when asked for water. Yet what makes us nostalgic, it's the last time service, warmth and gesture

Stay was good.river ganges is the usp for this resort.very well maintained and decorated.good food but only the breakfast spread could be better.

We opted to sit at the bar. The staff sitting at the bar wasn't very welcoming. Anyway the chicken kebab was fresh and good. Then we ordered biriyani which was not a very good idea. About the ambience of that resort, absolutely mind-blowing. It was well maintained except the washrooms. I had a nice time.thanks.

A great place for short vacation with good food and stay. Location is very nice, just on the river bank. All facilities are available. It's enjoyable.

It was an amazing experience. The attendants were very courteous and helpful, the food is worth mentioning and scenic beauty was beautiful. Some construction work is going on at present to enhance the property which post completion is expected to be equally wonderful.

This is a very nice place. Weather is satisfactory all the day.
If you wish to spent some good time with your family you can go this place but i must mention you that they are costly.

It is just not a hotel but a holiday resort with ample green all around on the bank of a mighty river (Hooghly). Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained.

The picturesque view at the bank of Ganges. Lovely airy and clean room. Along with good hospitality & awesome food which are fully balanced the
gastronomy. Most important it is pocket-friendly for the entire stay.

Expected more efficient services, took one and half hour extra to allot room where i've booked 1 month earlier. Charging too much for room services which is not at all justified. For example, Sprite 500ml normal price INR 30/35, but they are charging INR 74! But environment is awesome

The location is amazing, though the appraoch road to the resort is very narrow and you can easily miss the turn as there is no proper direction. However the rooms are very tiny and cleanliness wise it's just ok. One expect much better when you pay a premium tariff. Food was tasty. But the buffet breakfast is just horrible. They have a small place where you have to wait to get a table. The food quality and spread is below average, in fact the worst I have seen. And you have to wait for that also. Swimming pool is huge but again not very clean. So all in all a pretty average resort. But the location, view and landscaped ground is superb and the main selling point.

Nice place near Kolkata. The diamond harbour road is too congested! Kolaghat is a better drive. However this hotel has good service and ambience. Parking is very small. Avoid weekend

A beautiful place besides majestic and peacefull Ganga.the resort with its sprawling ground greenery and yes swimming pool has nice and comfortable rooms overlooking Ganga and they play nice music all through the day and night also the village beside the resort in worth mentioning.there is a big old "gach tala" where every evening people sit in groups discussing their daily tidings.quite the rural bengal feel to it adding to which was the kirtan with dhol and khanjanis which was quite pleasant to hear, gave me the feel of living in quite old beautiful village

Good hotel at Diamond Hurbour, around 40km away from Kolkata. Very good weekend destinations with family, just on the banks of river Ganges. It have some kids activities also.

It is located on the bank of river Ganga. Awesome service with nice hospitality. Rooms are very neat and clean. Staff behaviour is also good. There is a restaurant inside the hotel. Parking spaces is available. Overall it is a lovely place.

It's a very good place for short trip from kolkata. You can go with your family and friends. And couples also can go. Only photo id proof is needed, nothing is asked. Many old people go for refreshment. The main attraction is the Ganges River just beside the hotel. You can enjoy the beauty of ganga just sitting in the room or the lawn area. The rent of the rooms starts from 2500+12% tax and if above 3000, you have to pay 18% in which complementary breakfast is included. There is restaurant and bar with room service as well. You can eat outside as well. Foods are costly so we had our lunch at nearby radhuni restaurant, foods were very tasty there. And how to reach there from diamond harbour railway station is very easy, only 5 mins of walk. You can board a toto as well charging Rs. 10 /- each. Locally it is 5/- each. The check in and check out timings are 12: 00 noon and 10: 00 am respectively. And the most enjoyable thing is the swiming pools, 1 big and 2 small. You can bring swimming costumes yourself or rent by 50/- for men and 80/- for women. You will surely have a blast. Must go!

Me and my mom are very happy in my life that It is very excellent hotel at Diamond Habour area. All the staffs are excellent, some helpful & improvement. It is very clear swimming pool. I am enjoying with our families to swim for the first time. The garden, different flowers & landscapes are very nice. This lunch is very good & taste at the restuarest. Beautiful, situated beside river Ganges Open vast area, ambiences is exhalant. Small park for children play and area is very peaceful for short outing.
