All time favourite. The greenery, the lake water, and the chirping birds always call me toward it. It's a must visit place if you are coming to Kolkata from outside.

Clean and safe environment i the middle of a very busy city.perfect for a few hours of peace and serenity

Perhaps the only place in kolkata where couples can have some privacy in public! People are courteous, do not barge into your space. However, the presence of eunuchs and intoxicated children scamming money are disturbing!

We took a leisurely walk along the lakeside, soaking in the peaceful ambiance and appreciating nature's harmonious blend. The greenery and waterbody makes it so beautiful that you can easily spend your whole evening there. Btw due to vivid restrictions you have to show your vaccination certificate at the entrance.

This place has a very peaceful and so green that your eyes and mind will definitely have a rest. But due to covid situation this area is open only in morning from 6 to 9 am for morning walk purpose.and for those who are completely vaccinated. It is closed in other times of a day without the morning time

Rabindra sarobar lake is one of my favorite places and one of the best places I've ever visited.

One of the best places inside crowded Kolkata. Mother nature bestowed her grace here for her children. The lake, the trees, the ambience.everything is priceless here.

Rabindra Sarobar is an artificial lake in South Kolkata in the Indian state of West Bengal. The name also refers to the area surrounding the lake. It is flanked by Southern Avenue to the North, Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Road to the West, Dhakuria to the East and the Kolkata Suburban Railway tracks to the south. The area is served by the Rabindra Sarobar metro station of the Kolkata Metro and Lake Gardens and the Tollygunge station of the Kolkata suburban railway

Rabindra Sarobar is a metro station located below the Tollygunge railway station and adjacent to it, which is called Rabindra Sarobar Lake which is a beautiful place to be attached to the leagues, and it is surrounded by green trees, get rid of yourself and especially here a lot of boys and girls There are many people in the afternoon, I come to you at least once and turn around

Earlier the lake was known as Dhakuria lake. In 1958 it was named Rabindra Sarobar. Area of Rabindra Sarobar is about 192 acres. The area of the main lake is 73 acres. There are Rabindra Sarobar stadiam, Nazrul Manch, Children's park, Buddhist temple, Gardens etc on the remaining part of the land of Rabindra Sarobar. There are 50 different species of trees on these Gardens. Some trees are more then 100 years old

One of the greatest place in Kolkata. Where you going to make peace with yourself. Natural view of the nature you can find here. Everyone can come here. Nice looking lake with very very beautiful trees. You can feel the atmosphere with the nature. If you are in kolkata then you must come here for a historical natural memory. I will give this a 5 star rating, probably cause I have been going there since my school days. Perhaps the obky free place in Kolkata with an amazing view. Mostly a park. Has a light show on su day followed by occasional concerts! Be here.
