Rabri Gram, Aniya- Gangpur

Visited Rabri gram this Durga Puja. This village consists of 30 to 40 houses were each of them is churning mouth watering sweet meats- Rabri and Swarbhaja, home made ghee. Prices are very reasonable. Hospitability of these people will melt your heart.

A beautiful environment and delicious fresh made food are available. In this village almost 30 houses are there who make "Rabri" a famous Indian sweet. They used to earn their daily needs and expenses earning by selling this sweet. They used to send orders to Kolkata and other various big Cities. One thing is for sure that in this village everyone used to make their food with a dedication. They do not used to mix any kind of addons to their food. Must visit this place to test the delicious famous sweet called "RABRI". রাবড়ি। The costing of the sweet is approximately 300 to 350 per Kg. And the cost of other sweets starts from rupees 10 to rupees 20. One can have the option of taking away home. They have all types of facilities regarding food supply.

This village has wonderful scenario, I drove my two wheeler through Amta road and totally enjoyed roadside view. I went there on 25th june 2023 weather was cloudy first I had plan to take some shots at the time of returning but it started raining that time so couldn't catch roadside photos.
Now coming to Village, there are more than 40 families in there with this dame profession of Rabri making, I visited one of the oldest one.
The taste is really good, I tried Rabri and Sarvaja both.
They have options like regular rabri, less sweet rabri (I chose that) and sugarless rabri.
I love less sweet items so taste is very impressive for me.
Those like to travel a clam and quite Bengali village I suggest them to go there, you will not be disappointed, along with it you can try sweets too.
There are few tourist places near by like Furfura Sharif, Bramhadutta dham etc. You can visit them too

Good place to buy and eat Rabri. You can find Sorvaja and Ghee. The quality of the Ghee is very good.

Nice place for a morning ride.
You can order homemade Rabri (sweet) and then take a look around the fields near the power station. Foggy weather in the morning will mesmerise you for sure.

Rabri: 300 - 350/- per kg
Swarbhaja: 10 - 12 Rs. Per piece
Ghee: varies

Very nice place for outing.villagers are very cordial.we visited the house of Mr. Rakhal, just at the entry of the village.they prepare rabri for the whole day and they love to show and explain the process of rabri preparation.they offered us rabri to taste.we bought rabri for Rs. 300/kg.the taste is superb.

Almost 40 families are involved in this process of making rabri. For rabri, the name of this village is Rabrigram.

If you want rabri then come after 12: 00 only you'll get rabri or you'll have to come here real early before 6: 00

If you want to taste authentic home made rabri.must visit Rabri Gram. The whole village is making rabri for 25 years. Price: 250/kg or 300/kg. They are distributing rabri to whole kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly etc.

This place is popular for Bengalis one of the famous sweet called "Rabri".
