Rash Bari is located beside bank of river Ganges. It was built on 1889 by Purnachandra Daw of Jorasanko Dawfamily.
Apart from the temple and Rasmancha, there exists three aatchala (eight roofed) 24 feet tall Shiva temples on the either side of the main temple facing the Ganges. There are also two nahabatkhanas on both the sides along with a naatmandir with grand pillars just opposite to the main temple. A rare and a beautiful clock tower is situated in the middle of the tempe complex. There also exists rooms for the sebaiths, rooms for making bhog and, of course, Rashbari ghats. The temple took around two years to complete. One could witness the names of the founders of the temple along with the year and the dates in Bengali in the stone staircase which leads to the temple.
It is a great place to spend an afternoon on the banks of the Ganga in Belur. It was great to sit on the banks of the Ganges and watch the kids play football. There is a clock gate in front, which can be seen from Ganga Ghat. The place is really beautiful.
Established by Purna Chandra Roy this 40 ft high temple of Sri Radha Raman Jiu in Belur, Howrah is also known as Rashbari. A place to visit to have a taste of so called Nahabat Khana and Rash Arena. Besides these there are also six shiva temples too.

An astounding place on the bank of the revered river Ganga. The temple architecture is very impressive and the Radha-Krishna idol is beautiful. I have visited many times just to stare at the dual-image. You can sense the holiness of the place once you are inside. 6 Shiva temples, one Rashmancha, one Natmandir have also beautified the place.
