Government run cinema hall opened in honour of centenary celebration of Bengali film industry. Very affordable and clean hall only Bengali movies are screened at this place. Price per ticket is only ₹30.
Radha Studio's location is bitoff. Not totally on main road. The ticket price is just 30INR. If you booked via online booking platform, ex: bookmyshow, in that case, price will be more likely 45INR. Clean and well maintained. Normal seats, not sliding. But seats are well cushioned. In 30₹ shouldn't expect much. Rather than the screen and sound quality are just awesome. Ambiance was much higher than 45rs. They screened only Bengali movies (I support the initiative). Good for groups. A small museum of Satyajit Roy was there. I asked there staffs about the opening time of the museum, they told me, they didn't know when (Date and time) it will opens again.fallen disappointed.
They show only bengali film just like Nandan. It's a pocket friendly cinema hall. Ticket price is only RS. 30, but there are extra charges for online booking. Tickets are available in BookMyShow. Ambience is good. Picture and sound quality is great. Seating arrangement is good with proper leg space. Hall is very clean and well maintained. There are around 150 seats. So I recommend you to go for online booking. Highly recommended this movie theater.
This cinema hall is small but very good. Good Sound System, The ticket price is relatively low compared to other cinema hall as it is Government Cinema hall. Ambience is also good.
Pocket friendly best cozy and clean auditorium for special movies (specially Bengali) New studio. Location is also very good, walking distance from Tollygunge metro.
We went to watch the Bengali movie "Kaberi Antardhan" here. After seeing review, I have chosen this place. The place is very quiet, hall is neat and clean, with good quality air conditioning. The sound quality is quite impressive. The hall is very good, chairs are comfortable, screen size is moderate. The ticket price is only 30 INR, which is really low. We liked this place, will surely come here for watching movies again.
Radha Studio is a government-run cinema hall located in an area of Kolkata, India. The cinema hall is known for its cheap tickets, with prices as low as Rs 30, making it an affordable option for moviegoers who are looking to catch a movie on a budget.
Despite its low prices, Radha Studio offers a comfortable movie experience with clean and well-maintained seating arrangements. The cinema hall has a simple yet functional design, with a spacious lobby and a single screen theater that can accommodate a large number of viewers.
Radha Studio screens a variety of bengali movies. The selection of movies may not be as extensive as other mainstream theaters, but the low ticket prices make it an attractive option for those who want to catch the latest movies without breaking the bank.
The service at Radha Studio is prompt and efficient, with friendly staff who are always willing to help. The cinema hall is also well-maintained and clean, ensuring a high level of hygiene and sanitation.
Overall, Radha Studio is a great option for moviegoers who are looking for an affordable cinema experience. The low ticket prices, combined with the comfortable seating and friendly service, make it a must-visit destination for anyone on a budget.
A small theater but ambience is fine. A laudable effort by West Bengal government to make good small budget films available to cine lovers at such a low price of ticket! Will look forward to more releases!
The place is really nice, the outside ambience with all old movie posters is nostalgic, the hall is kept clean and the price ₹30 can't expect anything more. The only thing required is online payment option as there is no change with the ticket counter person every time that I have been. Please introduce online payment or atleast change. The entire experience is ruined if you speak to the ticket counter person.
Small auditorium with decent Infrastructure in terms of screen and sound. The most affordable movie viewing experience with tickets of any seat at just Rs 30 (as in December 2022). I visited the auditorium to watch a movie during Kolkata International Film Festival and loved it. Seats are little discomfort when compared to Nandan or the multiplexes, but at this price level, it is more than ok.
The ticket prices are so cheap, good to watch some Bengali movies with comfortable chair, clean toilets, outside benches are also very good. The food court is awesome, good quality food with very fair rate. The overall looks and cleanliness of the studio was also very good.
Likes the place. Clean and well located. 10 mins walking distance from Tollygunge metro station. 30rs ticket per person. Little bit larger than nandan 2 hall.
Tickets price is Rs 30/-, but it is more than worth it to catch your favourite Bengali Movie here. Terrific Screen, Sound, Searing with huge leg space, clean toilets, AC Hall. One of the best Movie experience in Kolkata.
It is one of the best cinema hall in kolkata, maintained by West Bengal govt. Kolkata film festival and lots of other film festival happens here. Price of the ticket is very less and the service is excellent. Nearby there is lots of other places to visit for art lover. This place have been the gathering place for youngsters.
Bright Screen with nice auditorium (AC). Don't Judge this hall by it's tickets price really it's awesome. Many of the cinema Lovers can not understand the actual location of the hall so my review is here for you. Landmark- Mahanayak Uttam kumar Metro station. The hall is situated in the backside of Bangur Hospital Kolkata (Tollygounje).
Radha Studio is not big as Nandan but this is nicely decorated in limited space. The Hall is small in size but the seats are comfortable. The hall is air conditioned. The screen and the sound quality was good. Foods are not allowed in the hall but there is only one foodstall inside the campus. It has benches just like Nandan has. I would like to recommend this place to everyone to watch and enjoy a movie in a very low price.

Small but very nice hall. Good acoustics. The exhibits on old cinematic instruments was fascinating. It could have been enhanced by small writeups, though.
It's really awesome. Very few Auditorium can provide us this type of bright screen with full air conditioning facilities in this price range. A big thumbs up for those who want to visit this auditorium But many of the movie lovers can not understand the actual location of the hall. Don't worry my review is here for you guys.
