Very Very crowdy, conjested, road having miserable condition, vats and roadsides heaped with uncleaned garbage (khardha and panihati having the same feature). Residential areas punched with shops, restaurants, bazaar of green vegetables, fish, meat and flowers (pujo). Lods of food items with large variety is the main attraction of the place.

Fascinating institution. Possess sophisticated infrastructure for research purpose. Department of Zoology is particularly awesome one. The scholars guidance is really helpful and they are amiable. Professors are also cordial. The surrounding environment is soothing and eco-friendly.

Good and busy market for all daily needs and plenty of food places for tongue tickling experience.

All most every essential commodities are available here. But price is little bit on higher side. Check the bills properly once you are done with your shopping cause either they are weak in mathematics or willfully take the excessive amount. Be cautious while buying.

Busy area of Khardah. A lot of shops are available here. You name it, all are available here. More important part is the 78/1 Bus stand which has Rahara Bazar to Dharmatala bus service. Even in the night this is place is busy. More Supermarket, Apollo Pharmacy, Sweet Shop, Kathleen cake shop and other branded stores are also here.

I visited many marcket all over india but didn't found that amount of fresh vegitables which u can get in Rahara Bazar

Nice place but the problem is the distance from the station u have to take van to go to this place
