Rajasthan Guest House

I would never recommend to anyone to stay in this hotel as the staff behaved in a very cheap and rude way with us.plus the rooms and washrooms weren't well cleaned but I somehow was ready to deal with it. But because of their cheating and not being clear about leaving time we had to pay 2 days rent while we stayed for a night only. So disgusting. Chiii

Very poor food and poor service. Not recommended. Over hyped due to being a vegetarian restaurant.

Affordable hotels with family rooms n good veg food. Non veg options also available nearby. Very close to center business areas like bara bazaar. N close to station n airport connectivity as well

It's good Hotel in affordable price, Room service is good and room clean. Rajasthan restaurant also provide good food.

Although this place serves the best food but my recent visit was not that too great. The curry was all tasteless. Very less spices were used.

Pros

1. You can get homely food here like dal, roti (fulka) and sabji. Overall good for people who prefer simple home food. The restaurant here serves only pure veg indian food.

2. Being situated in bara bazaar, it gives close proximity to people who are coming here for shopping purpose and most of the market can be covered by walking

Cons

1. Cleanliness is moderate and is disappointing if you are expecting a lot out of this place. White bed sheets look pale and old, the one in my room had two to three holes in it.

2. Pricing is equivalent to that of a good 5 star hotel and it's not even 10 % as good as that

In my opinion, if you want to save on traveling time and you have work in bara bazaar then you can consider it or if you are seeking a little comfort then try staying at Park Street as it has a lot of good 5 stars and it is at a distance of 5 kms from Bara Bazaar.

The Guest House location is in central market which is the best part for travellers like businessman or sales persons. Besides this, the hotel is situated just 2 kms from Howrah bridge.
The best part is that it has in house restaurant which really serves good and hygienic food.
Rooms are also at a bit lower rate than the nearby hotels. And the management staff is very nice. Most of them belongs to Rajasthan itself and are very polite.

Still the place my mom visits once a year like years and years back to live the nostalgia

Though the property is good but need a good manager to take care of the place. We had stay there for one night, and had a horrible experience when we're supposed to drink some water from the water pot kept in the room, it might not been cleaned for the past few months so it's fully dirty inside. They must take care of cleanness of the rooms and amenities.

Rajasthan Guest house is in the middle of the Barabazar and rooms are clean. Room Service are available on 24X7. All the staff are friendly. One of the best cheap guest house in this area.

Excellent food, especially the Rajasthani curries and bread. Authentic fare so far away from its origin. Must try the gatta sabzi, ker sangri and Missi roti and alu paratha. This place is a favourite from my childhood days, with the taste remaining the same after almost 5 decades.

Great infrastructure no issues by any staff of this guest house and yeah the room was too clean that it feels like i was in my home

I have enjoyed its breakfast lunch and dinner frequently and I recommend strongly to taste is restaurants foods which are always delicious.
My favourite foods are alu Paratha, chola, Paneer Butter masala, chapati, Alu. Masala, Dosa, Idly.

It's a great stay at cheaper rates.rooms are good and it's near the main market for shopping so it's good. It's just in the inner lane and a little bit far from burra bazar
