The price of a 330ml of soft drinks should be lowered down. It is 4 times the cost. Rest the staffs were well behaved. But the food delivery took a long time.

Foods are good, once in a year I visit here on puja and I love this place bcoz of the ambience and food

It was Puja, we went for Hariyali Kebab, naan, chicken bharta, Mutton rara and Egg tadka. Apart from this we also ordered Lime soda.
Kebab were good but here starts the dissappointment, bharta wasn't upto the mark. They didn't have onion salad. Lime soda tasted horrible. Tadka was really good, i think the stars went for this lone dish. I think they can really work upon serving a bit tastier food considering the price. It's an okayish outing, not highly recommended if you are looking forward to invest more than a thousand bucks for good north indian food. There are better options for sure.

Foods are premium quality but delivery isn't that good. Delivery boys aren't available every time. Also it takes horrible time for your order to get delivered. Lighting and indoor look is great though. Love it.

I tried the dal makhani, mutton curry and butter nun with complimentary mixed pickles.the taste was good.they serve in authentic aluminium plates and glasses which enhances the authenticity of dhaba style restaurants.overall it was a nice experience

The food was okayish. RDBD Paneer Tikka was tasteless. The service was extremely poor. We had to wait for an hour to receive our order of just 2 Butter Naans. Overall experience was not at all satisfying. I would definitely not recommend to visit this restaurant.

Waste of money they are taking 55rs for a bottle water of mrp 20rs and also adding hygiene charges of 5 percent for providing sanitizer.

Not Recommended at all, especially disappointed with the service, had to wait for a long time for getting the food served to the table. Heard restaurant's name quite a time, went there with friends but I had Worst food experience, every single dish we order was cold, each and every dish was cold. Taste is certainly not up to mark, Naan was as thin as Tawa roti, overall it was pathetic. And one more thing, they serve food in Aluminum plates, took Dhaba name seriously and food is also similar to any random road side dhaba. Just try not to go there

Best experience from rang de basanti, I have been there 4 times and each an every visit I got something amazing. Tandoori chicken 2.0 and chicken palang tod is a must try here. Amritsari chole, jeera rice, dal makhani and kadai panner are outstanding. Apart from that their deserts are outstanding.

Diamond Plaza is very near to my house and i visit there quit often and that allowed me to dine in here when i finished my movie and dropped down for Lunch. A pure Punjabi style Restaurant which gives you the feel of Punjab with those big water glasses, platers and tractor that is the trade mark there.
Coming to the place so this is around 50-70 seater place with North indian food to offer you.
Tried Their Coolers and loved the Bhayankar Soda. The starters are also appealing as they provide all the north indian food which we usually eat at restaurants.tandoori Chicken, Cheese Kabab, Fish stripes.in the mains we had Biryani and Mutton Rogan Josh. Their Butter Chicken is a must try here and Chicken Chaval is just so good to eat.

Visited today with my family. Pathetic service we have ever received! Stale and awful food was served after waiting for more than an hour. Staffs have ZERO courtesy to host visitors. Most importantly they are NOT MAINTAINING MINIMUM hygiene or sanitization amid this COVID situation.

With different regions having their own indigenous food, with ingredients locally sourced and then getting influenced by the gradual foreign entry and exists, there has been a phase when many of these specialized dishes got overlapped, and adopted by the other parts of this country in a way and direction they seem fit. With food and music being the universal binder of love, it isn’t that hard to make something our own and accept it wholeheartedly. The result being having neighbourly dishes with our own twist, so as to suit the tastebuds right for our palette.

A sudden roadtrip to elsewhere, perhaps across the highway, what feeds us best are the little roadside dhabas along the way. Also bringing us close to the Northern style of cooking, and dishes close to Delhi and Punjab, right up to our alley. It is often hard to contemplate what we love about the dhabas the most? Is it the rustic and carefree sitting or the mouthwatering dishes they cook up, with their own charm and adding flavours so hard to recreate inside the comforts of our house? While hygiene can be a question mark for many, these are the times when places like Rang De Basanti Dhaba helps us to satiate our favourite dishes within a fine-dining ambiance.

A quick visit to their outlets inside the Diamond Plaza Mall help us get nostalgic and experience the age-old flavours we were so craving for, some quick temperature checks at the entry of the mall and the restaurant, being accompanied with due sanitization process. The restaurant earmarked the sitting positions for everyone, while maintaining the required distance to be maintained among each other. We started off with a Kurkure Bhindi, which had finely chopped bhindi, perhaps air roasted to minute perfection. It had almost nil traces of oil, but definitely carried the crunch and crisp, you would expect from anything of its sort, much like mimicking a chip.

Next came a luscious and mouth-melting Chicken Kebab, perfectly marinated with a rich green chilli paste. The chicken cubes were soft and succulent, and we had no trouble to gulp each one of those portions straight into our mouth. With every single bite leaving a zing of the green chillies, the subtlety of this preparation will clearly blow anyone’s mind off. Moving on to the maincourse, we paired up a good old Butter Chicken with Lachcha Paratha, Plain Naan, Butter Naan and a Tawa Chicken Biryani. Butter Chicken, hailing all the way down from the alleys of Delhi, has definitely been one of those dishes, which has grown up on us.

This version, definitely creamy and buttery, had the addition of perhaps slit green chillies, which again made us feel a slight kick with every bite we took. The Lachcha Parathas weren’t oily, but were rather baked in tandoor, pairing perfectly with the juicy chicken portions. The Tawa Chicken Biryani, was more of a Pulao, something which I have come across the lanes at Hazratganj in Lucknow. The rice and the other ingredients are tossed over a tawa, with the masalas being more prominent in nature than we are used to in our quintessential Kolkata Style Biryani. A perfect mix of sweet, crisp, creamy and spicy flavours, all amalgamating onto a single bite, our evening couldn’t have got any better.

A sweet end to our meal with the in-house Phirni, the flavours from the Kebabs and Butter Chicken made me crave for even more, perhaps overpowering the delicate intricacies of the Phirni. With everything slowly leading to normal, I cannot wait to go back again and try those familiar flavours all over again.

The Punjab is famous for their dhaba culture and the dhaba foods. In bengalis dhaba foods are very popular.so there is the place based totally on a Desi Punjabi dhaba. The ambience is totally very Desi. The foods are very yummy also. Like:

1. Anda Bhurji Bun: is one of the best dishes from this place. The buttery bun with the yummy anda Bhurji was a fantastic combination.

2. Paneer Paratha: This paratha Is the complete meal for a person. The paneer stuffing of the paratha was very tasty.

3. Piyazi Bun: The taste of the piyazi inside the bun was very unique and and tasty.

4. Chole Bhatore: I had many chole bhatorees but this chore bhatoore was very yummy and perfect for one person.

5. Bun Omlette: this bun Omlette was very tasty and I will definitely like it as my breakfast with their 6. CUTTING CHAI (HIGH RECOMMEND)

I don't know if I can put it in a better way. Food here is really "bad".
Also another point is, we were two people there, the portions of food which were served were for two only, that's fine with us, but the prices which were charged was for the whole plate.
I mean, even if two people are dining they should serve the whole plate, right? Now it's upto us what we do with the excess food, maybe we pack it and take it back home or feed the needy.

But they took the opportunity upon seeing a couple and make money out if that, really bad. Infact each dishes were meant for 4 people. That means they literally served us half the quantity charging the full amount. Along with that taste was also not that good. Below average in terms of taste.
I don't know how people rated their food with 5 stars, not at all up for five stars in any means.

I don't know if they does the same to groups of 4 or more. So if you're going as a couple be on the lookout. They will scam you and take whole amount.

I left the place half empty paying whooping 1200 as the bill. Attached the paytm screenshot if incase you don't believe. I was not in mood after all these to click photos. We finished the food asap and left the place, we didn't enjoy the food at all.

Fish cutlet or kabiraji I don't remember that was around 300 rupees and they served us 2 pieces 1 for each, with each one being half of the original size. Now you can imagine.

Ambience recreated like a Dhana including dirty seat cover and a colourful tractor. Biryani dry and good.

Everything thing excellent only issue with water bottle they charge to much @20rs bottle @55rs sell. Plz at least provide proper mineral water don't provide package water as the name of mineral water

Good food with good service. Their delivery is also always on time and quality has been consistent. Most importantly they have a very good packaging system.

RDBD is an excellent choice for People who love Punjabi or Delhi wala cuisine. Must haves are daal tarka, tandoori paneer and keema matar.

Now rdb has improved in food quality and taste + music.tandoori chicken was different and nice served with mustard sauce and it's taste awsm.amritsari kulcha was good but I was expecting full size big one as served in Punjab but it was good.all of this in budget.

Rang de Basanti this branch of the brand is in the diamond plaza Mall on the food court floor. Ambience is good, space is sufficient. Food quality is satisfactory and service and behaviour is also nice. Lassi and rose Firni is excellent. Dessert items are awesome. It was a pleasure to visit this restaurant.

The food was really good and tasty but a bit expensive. The staff behaviour is good. Its located in shopping mall so we visit it quite often. I also like the decorations a deshi type.
