Prominently placed on the EM Bypass, however, one needs to take some trouble as the lane in front of the outlet is all dug up. While the facade is pretty attractive the interior could have been done better. It is understood that the 'Dhaba' feel was attempted in the interior designing but it could have been better designed. The place had some catchy posters dotted on it's walls and made for some funny reading. The service was good, staffs courteous and the food did arrive on time. Now for the food. I am afraid that while they did an OK job with the Kebabs, and starters. The Champaran meat preparation was way off. Understandably the Biriyani too left much to be desired as they are way behind their neighbouring Arsalan outlet in taste and options. Will go back after sometime to see if they have moved up the ladder.
This place is a great place for food lovers like me. Good ambience and great quality food. A good place to visit along with family, friends and colleagues. Enough seating arrangement, but not many people will fit in. You can park your vehicle outside. The goods are pricey, but great in taste and quality. This restaurant is a bit premium. Not recommended for budget foodies. A nice place for a visit. ️
Food quality is average. Price is high enough comparing to food quality. Good thematic restaurant but lacks cleanliness and unhygienic bathroom (according to me). The atmosphere inside becomes cacophonic when customers are present. Could be more clean, hygienic, cheaper and provide tastier food with a pleasant atmosphere inside. Service is good, no doubt about that.
One of the worst food I had received in the year end and completely waste my money and time as we are not able to eat the food. The taste of food is so bad. Street food is more quality product than the food at Resturent. The restaurant managers even not respond after notification of quality
The ambience are really that of a dhaba and there are walls made of asbestos. Light decoration in cans used in ration shops for distributing kerosene, an inverted rope bed on the ceiling and together with a tractor you'll get the feel of a typical north Indian village. The plates and glass they have their are made of thick aluminium and the basin sinks are made of brass with hammering patterns. The staff behaviour was really prompt and friendly. I ordered three dishes.kadhai chicken, Hari mirch tikka and laccha Paratha. Of which chicken tikka was the best. Kadhai chickens was good but one piece seemed to be oddly smelling although it was not spoiled
Slipped from very good to average, food quality degraded for the level of the restaurant. Also serving quality also looks just ok, have to be far better to match up with earlier days
Beutiful place to visit especially if you love to explore the real tatse of north india. They got a huge sitting space, must try chicken paalangtod, Mutton Rara.ghar wali khichdi with with basanti dal makhani is awesome.both cards and cash accepted. Must visit.ambience is superb
Food is good but quantity is very less small pieces and quality also not very good only the taste is somewhat good not likely very hot inside AC not working properly
Went in by happenstance and was pleasantly surprised. The food was good and the team friendly. The interiors are fun and the Dahi Kabab was the star. Parking was good. Aur kya chahiye!
Location wise, the restaurant is one of the best! Between Ruby and Tagore park with a service road! Interior is beautifully decorated. The theme of roadside dhaba with a actual tractor inside looks very good. The taste of food is also awesome. Every dish I tried is very good. Only one thing they can improve is the behaviour of the staffs. I'm not telling that they are bad. But it can be improved! Overall nice experience!
Good location, well behaved staffs. Roadside parking available. One can get a Dhaba like environment. Preparation need to improve. Water and cold drinks are over priced, not as per mrp. One litre water is served at Rs 65/- and 300 ml cold drinks at Rs 75/-. One should not charge like this as all are paying from their hard earn money.
This place is located on em bypass near to Arsalan. It is a very small outlet. We went from office for team lunch. The air conditioner in this place seems non functional. The person taking our order was sweating but when asked to switch on the AC said it's already ON. Food is also average. We took Goli sikanji but there was no fizz and not chilled. U must also clean the cutleries before using with tissue so as to avoid having soap. Overall it's a very basic place for lunch.
The worst experience I had with this resturant, the food quality was worst, they are charging 65 rs per bottle for water, I have been in almost every good resturant in kolkata but don't think they are charging so much, the staff behavior is not all good, so guys be careful when you visit this restaurant
Such a bad experience over there. Too much prices for regular things.food quality is very low. 1 litre mineral water is costing Rs. 65.just a horrible experience over there.
Kolkata local people ask us to not go to rang de basanti dhaba. There north Indian food is not good but we go there and order for north Indian food. Only dal makhani is good, rice are not cooked properly, butter man not stuff with butter, there staff serving without our order. They serve cold drinks and kulfi Faluda no one eat. Ice cream is melted and faluda is hard to eat for 7adult and 3 children bill of 7000/-rs for veg we shocked. We suggest you when ever go there please check menu rates and ask staff strictly to not serve without order
Food qaulity and the qauntity were quite good.and i love to go again and enjoy the food. Services were also good and enjoyable. I must recommend to everyone
Very lovely ambience and awesome staff behavior. Theme was damn good and it felt truly like a modernized dhaba served on a desi platter. Overall Much recommended.
Although meal was very tasty, but ambience of hotel should be attaractive and clean too. A number of mosquitoes were moving inside the hotel. It must be taken care of.
The place looks AMAZING. The tractor is definitely an attraction not only for kids but for photo lovers like me. Now coming to the FOOD, the DAL MAKHANI WAS FINGER LICKING GOOD WITH A TOUCH OF PURE GHEE AND cream. The naan was good too. Overall, a must visit or ZOMATO!
Motton biriyani was very dry with no salt or taste and motton piece was only fat and bones, no flesh at all. Motton rarra was same bone and all fat. Holo soda bottle was not clean it had black stain all over. As for the restaurant, the mosquitos had my food over me having my food there.
One of the worst restaurant They charge 40 rs per person for Sanitization Water Bisleri. 55+tax You may feel lots of mosquito? Bite. Bad smell Poor food quality Very bad
Excellent food – the rotis and the naans and the parathas and the curries, all exceptional. Hospitable staff. A haven for vegetarians like myself (the non-veg dishes must be equally good I bet). The only problem I had was that they weren't accepting payment via DineOut as they were facing some technical issue, which was a shame as I had to forgo my DineOut discount and pay significantly more than what I had expected. But it'll alright I guess.
I don't think this is what a laccha paratha looks like! First of all a paratha is never made of aata and is always made of maida which is not the case here.secondly, the paratha was too hard to be eaten.it was more of an improvised tawa roti made to look like a paratha. THIS IS CLEAR FRAUD ON BEHALF OF THE RESTAURANT.
Really love their food, have been ordering from them for over two years. However recently when we visited their restro, guess what? We got charged around 60 bucks for "hygiene charge" outside the normal taxes and service charge. Like seriously? U guys keep a bottle of sanitizer on the table which most of the regular decent places do nowadays and charge for it? Most people even carry sanitizer with them. I am a foodie and I have been to many good places following the best of hygiene and sanitization but never have I seen this ridiculousness. I even heard people sitting in table beside us muttering in disatisfaction about it. You want people to come and dine at your place for your buisness to run, that is why you are providing a safe sanitized dining experience. I have never seen this before. The only reason I am giving it this experience 3 stars and not 1/2 stars is because the food is really good.
For food 4.5* for service 3.5* and for interior 3*. Located at very convenient place, most of the time you may get parking but service should be better. Theme of restaurant is good but requires maintenance.
Bad food. Has no distinct taste or flavor. Miles away from NF Cuisine or Punjab province. Azad Hind Dhaba at Hindustan Road anyday better. Service very slow. Good location and theme though.
Wonderful place because of its ambience, theme and its food.yes the resturant is bit costly and food is moderately tasty.but the complete package will give you boost of amazing feelings.there is a tractor there within the resturant
