It has arrangment for social parties like wedding. Location not ideal. Also not experienced good catering service or the foods.

A decently priced great hotel. Rooms are cost and spacious. The kitchen makes great Bengali food. There's a salon as well. Good for short family or business stays or for family functions.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Regenta Hotel, and I was very impressed with the overall experience. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I especially enjoyed the restaurant, where the staff went above and beyond to make my dining experience enjoyable.

One of the restaurant staff members who stood out to me was Sounak. He was always friendly and attentive, and he took the time to get to know my preferences. He was also very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to recommend dishes that I would enjoy.

On one occasion, I was feeling unwell and Sounak made sure that I had everything I needed to feel better. He brought me hot tea and crackers, and he checked in on me regularly. I was very grateful for his kindness and attention to detail.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the Regenta Hotel. The restaurant was one of the highlights of my stay, and I would definitely recommend it to others. The food was delicious and the service was excellent

We hired Regenta Orkos to host our wedding.they made big promises but let us down majorly and at the end demanded extra money. Food was sad. Wait staff were friendly and professional. I place the blame entirely on administration.

Don't call yourself as 4 star hotel when you don't have basic medical facilities even if you can't provide someone a paracetamol. You asked person to walk outside and bring medicine when he/she is ill. Disgusting, pathetic hospitality. And you are living in India and not allowing rickshaw inside. I would never recommend anyone to this place.

Didn't have a good experience at all. Few staff had high attitude esp with no smile or pleasantry. The food is horrible served in broken crockery and still they charge a bomb on food. Half cooked rice, hard chapati.and they argue with the guests still.

The only way to reach to a person's heart is by indulging in a scrumptious spread of food prepared especially during festive pujo moments.

Was a good experience staying in orkos. Rooms were clean, services were good, excellent restaurant and swimming pool.overall it was a good experience.

Substandard The management needs exposure to call themselves 4 star. They better clean the place and get some interiors done with quality materials

An extended stay, obviously called for extended hospitality. Nonetheless, the consistency of service delivery and the quality has been par excellent. Hygiene is very well maintained with some real good and courteous staff. And the food is awesome. It was a pleasant surprise with the kinda culinary deftness and balance they maintain. A big shoutout to Aarti and Bijoy for the amazing kitchen service. A big thanks to Sudipto, Shubhodip and team for hosting us. Undoubtedly, one of the best places to hop in when in the City of Joy. THEY ALMOST PUT ME IN HOSPITAL

I booked this hotel as it was close to vfs kolkata. When i booked the hotel, i didnt read the fine print that outside food delivery is not allowed.which agreed even though prices were expensive.day 1.i ordered noodles.which was ok.later that night i ordered pasta.after multiple calls, they finally deliver it after 1 and half hours.
Light is dim in the room.and i am eating dinner, i felt like there is sand in food.but in next bite what came to mouth was sharp peice of broken plate.not small peice chipped peice.a big peice with sharp edges which can put anyone in hospital.

Only explanation i can come up with was they dropped the plate and they swooped food in some other plate and brought the food to my room.i immediately went to reception with my plate, receptionist gave the plate to manager.thats it.they did offered another pasta and did removed it from the bill (which they didnt informed me till i asked for it when i checked out of hotel.). I did asked for update after the incident.they dont know what happened nor they gave any apology.

If hotel is forcing people to eat there and charging that much, i expect good quality from it. I narrowly escaped hospital bed. But what if some kid was eating it.

Next day onwards i stopped eating from there as i lost the trust in them and needed to travel in coming days.

Visited for inquiry regarding wedding, interacted with one staff member and one senior manager Mr. Sujay.

Miss Sayanika was so helpful and polite. She explained everything in detail and what the hotel is offering corresponding to my requirement.

The Maneger was tremendously rude, which is something as a visiter I was not expecting.he insulted her staff infront of me and my family, which my wife as a fellow female felt very bad.

I was there to do business and not get schooled regarding his perspective how things should be done.if I am asking a question I expect the Manager to explain me how things would be done in his hotel and not an answer like you go and visit 100 other hotel they will not even talk to you regarding this.

Terrible. Listening skills always helps.my entire family has combined experience of 35 years in corporate industry where visit 3 star 4 star hotels is very common. I think I have enough experience to judge his behaviour was unacceptable.only thing I am grateful is I met him before the booking and not after it otherwise my wedding would have been ruined.

I must acknowledge the Welcoming gesture of Mrs Arti Singh at the restaurant at Breakfast Lunch & Dinner. I experienced the food is where the heart is. Secondly The service of the property was overwhelming.i am happy to discover a property in the midst of the City.for all occasions.

Very pleasant stay. The club rooms are excellent as well as break fast is also excellent. Very beautiful and peace full location and. Staff is very co-operative as well as very attentive. Room service is also very good. The only suggestion is the Food and Bar are too costly that needs to be revisit to attract the more customer. I will prefer again to stay in the same hotel and also refer my friend about the same.

Swimming was not clean, I hope next time when I visit it will be shine otherwise again I will make you clean Mind it.

My experience is of mixed nature about this hotel. Wedding reception of my son has been held on 28th April' 2021 and the celebration is very excellent. MELODY & SYMPHONY - both halls were booked one year earlier & 50% advance was taken by Mr. Sujoy Bhattacharjee, Asst Food & Beverage Manager. Due to Corona, I had requested him to reduce number of guests to 200 from 330 more than one month in advance, but the man is very insensitive in this respect & had declined the request. The initial calculation was Rs. 1500/- per plate x 330 plates. However only 147 guests were able to attend, thus incurring a loss of Rs. 1,99,500/-. Mr. Sujoy Bhattacharjee then tempted me to throw another party where 50 guests would be paid for and I would have to pay for at least 40 more. So, please be cautious in booking in this particular hotel. For any inconvenience, the man obstructs to communicate higher authority. Similar experiences were faced by other parties, who had booked in that crucial time.

The worst place for the stay. The staffs are very rude.we ordered cutlery in our room they said it's chargeable, because outside food is not allowed. The breakfast was also bad. Sprouts were stale, ordered omlette it was raw from inside. Ver bad experience. They really need to work on their staff behaviour.

The behaviour of the staff, fooding quality, proper sanitization, The sound system everything was excellent in my occasion. I am satisfied.

Everything is perfect. Everytime i come to kolkata for visa i stay here. But the breakfast buffet could have been better. Ordered a dosa from the menu for breakfast and yeah it was good.

If your traveling for business, this is not the place. Loud music till 10.30 pm and you can hear your next door room all the time.service is good. But you can't get away with this noise. Wish I had a good night sleep

The ambience is excellent. The cooperation of the staff members are spellbound. The food quality and taste are fantabulous. I would recommend Orkos for any types of gatherings, parties, wedding.

Best place I stayed in Kolkatta. Extremely good environment n very helpful people. AARTI SINGH, FB manager is very helpful as I am recovering after my eye surgery.

1star hotel is better than this hotel. Complementary water is not provided by the hotel. Guest have to carry there Luggage on your own. Breakfast is also very poor. Staff is very rude they don't know how to talk with guest. I never suggest this hotel to anyone

Very well decorated, hygenic and spacious place for organizing ceremony in the COVID situation.the poolside ambience at the 6th floor is also very captivating.

Room was clean and good, room service was fine. Food was extremely overpriced for what they gave. It tasted so bad and portions were from a fine dining restaurant but their taste wasn't even comparable to anything. Many items on menu were not available. Gave 2 stars only for the room. Will always remember to avoid this place. Better off to other restaurants nearby, they are lightyears ahead in terms of good food.

My friends’ engagement was on 19th July 2021 in the banquet of orkos hotel. The food quality was very disgusting. The service of the hotel management was very poor. The behaviour of the business manager Mr. Sujoy Bhattacharya was extremely unethical and unprofessional. He insulted the guests and even behaved in a very rude manner which was uncalled for, this is for the 3rd time that I attended an event in the hotel, however I was disappointed by the same thing that happened again Mr. Bhattacharya behaved in an unethical way. If any suggestion regarding any service / food quality is given to him, he will react rudely and will never accept anything further when we told him about food taste was not up to the mark, he replied us that UP and Bihar people don’t know the taste, what a lovely reply from business manager. I suggest everyone not to do any event in this place. The management should take care of this kind of unprofessional behaviour of their staff in case they want a good business in the future.

The room was clean, pretty nice view of a lot of greens outside. The staff were helpful and efficient. The internet connection was very bad though, my own phone data was not working in that location (Airtel), and the staff confirmed that Airtel is not good in that area; additionally, the hotel wi-fi was erratic and very slow, making simple PDF downloads a mammoth task. Since I had primarily gone there to work and needed the internet through-and-through, I found myself regretting much for choosing this place. Once again, if one does not have requirement of a strong internet, then this is a good place. For me, it was not.

I attended a marriage reception over here, and I found the arrangements were just good, if not the best, which includes both the sitting decoration and food. I heard the chat counter served a good tasty snacks, while I personally liked Kofta Curry the most, along with Baked Rasgulla. The Fish Orli was also served hot with Mayonnaise and it was crispy & tasty as expected. Other food items tasted the way it should be, however there I noticed a slight delay in bringing few of the items (like mutton & kebabs) but the attendants made sure to fill them up in full at a later period of time. The reception lobby has a sitting & wait area just like any other hotel. Location wise this hotel is placed a bit far inside the main road. As such the area was peaceful but very remote as well, and I presume it will not be so good for a late night walk in this area.

Regal and aristocratic atmosphere, excellent and tasty cuisine, timings are adhered to too strictly, should be relatable till 12 night on occasions like marriage days

. Not very costly but yet well decored. Space is big for a location like Kasba. A bit far from the main Rd so may bit a difficult to locate first time round. But the location is quaint and less noisy than any restaurant on the main roads of kolkata

Cleanliness is not regular otherwise a good hotel no questions asked if guests are there with you. They also have restraunt inside where you can have dinner and breakfast.

Good option for any official stay. Good place. Rooms are really specious and very comforfortable stay. But I think room rates are little bit on the higher side than it should be. One can avail 4 or 5 star hotel at kolkata within this price.

Location - horrible. Middle of nowhere. Only thing was good you have nearby Acropolis mall. 1) Hardly anyone welcomes you. It was very rare that you would be welcomed. 2) Because of malfunction aircon I needed to switch my room twice! 3) Cleanness of room is barely good, while at breakfast you can count on sticky tables and not so clean cutlery. 4) Noise was insane. They are doing some work even over weekends and holidays. With Hare Krishna festival one weekend (2 days straight) I did not had one single day of proper rest. 5) When I put "Do not disturb" signs they would still call me frequently over phone do I need anything, Spa offer. 6) Lost my laundry 3 times! 7) Price per night was equal to Gateway with whom they cannot be in same sentence. 8) When I was asking like food recommendation in their restaurant people did not know how to advise me, or when I needed anything like IT support, people were not skilled enough. It seemed like many people in that hotel did not know how to do their job, and honestly for 5k+ per night, you can get much better deals in Kolkata. Except managers, they were behaving accordingly.

Place is good. A little off the way from the main road.
Facilities are not too bad.
Staff could be a little better and accommodating.
Food is nice.
Overall not very highly recommended but if nthin is available in the vicinity then could work for a couple of days.

I had the most wonderful experience possible today in the restaurant. The food is awesome. The taste is awesome. The staff including the manager and all are very very helpful, polite, courteous and respectful. The service is marvelous. I recommend it to everyone who wants to experience the best fine dining experience with a beautiful ambience.

The hotel is good to stay. Big rooms with big bathrooms. Quality of food needs to be improved. Services also need improvement. Hotel is in a silent area. So, One can relax out there. Wifi doesn't work, on asking you will get to know that the network is down. Reception area is without air conditioner or they don't switch it on. Due to network issue in the hotel, You may have to remain in reception area for using your mobile.
