Relling Rangit River Resort

Worst rooms.not clean at all, broken furniture, no room heater, broken geyser, only good thing was staff behaviour rest is extremely worst.

Happy with location & view but Disappointed by Room quality & service. Saw low rating in G Map still took it thinking there will be always some bad reviews.

Very poor maintenance. Doesn't provide proper service. Washrooms are very dirty and unhygienic. There are lots of insects in the room. Don't go in any of the situation.

It's a remote place. You have to struggle a lot for reaching there unless you booked their own car. The service was awful. They supply water direct from the river to the bathroom and the water is very much dirty and unhygienic. Food was not good but it's okay. After evening there was no electricity and they didn't provide generator service as well. There was frog on the bed. The doors are not locked properly. We had a very bad experience. Our plan was to stay there 2 nights but we stayed only 1 night and had to pay the charge of two nights. They didn't consider cancellation charges rather required the full charge. It's a total waste of money. Also they don't care about their bad reviews. Don't go there. They just show good pictures but the place is horrible. One more thing there was no ceiling fans only one stand fan for a 4 bed room that too has a very slow speed. So just think once before booking the place.

We expect that this farm stay resort will give us good service but we are very disappointed with their services. First of all the food quality is ver low, they don't give us fresh food. Two big Alsecian is there in resort open all the time. I have severe animal phobia issue. They should keep them in the cage. Quantity of breakfast is very poor. But the natural view is great. Place is very inhygienic they don't maintain their property.
Room is not up to the mark. There is no dustbin in the room, there is no water in the washroom and bed is also broken.

The room service is very bad. There is a seveare water problems in the washroom. Tap is not working. Food quality is very low and the quantity is also very poor. They are very unprofessional casual. They don't take care of their guests seriously and their property as well. Though the nature is very nice and scenic beauty. They are very unhygienic. Two big Alsecioun are roaming around the property which is very scary. We heard that one Alsecioun bite 10 people. Still they don't take any precaution against this. Price of the food is high but the quality and quantity is very low. Waste of money and time.

A must visit place. A young owner with lots of ambition.

Worst experience in this homestay. Rooms are not alloted as per our booking. Even the rooms are not ready in the schedule time.

We visited the stay 2 days back. Must say location of the property is awesome but staying there is very bad experience. We feel we wasted our money. Not a single bathroom's tap is in good condition moreover staff n manager don't bother to resolve the issue. They are very unprofessional. We visited the place on November but they allocated a summer friendly room where air passes through bedside window even after complaining they just give us a heater when we ask to cover the hole with a paper atleast they said they can't do it now next day day will they don't even bother how it feel like in the night. Tap water ware yellow or black in colour, middle of the night no water supply was there because they forget to switch on their pump. When we tell them they ware very casual. If you wanna enjoy the view go ahead. But not recommended with family. If they change their behavior and management it might have been one of the best one. Very much disappointed to visit there and stayed for 2 days.

Me and my friend visited this resort last weak. Our experience was fabulous. First the Hospitality of every stuff of this resort, was just outstanding. Second the location of this resort. Rangeet river view balcony made my days there. The whole area atound is safer than proper kolkata city. Thank you rangeet river resort team.

Location is simply awesome. And that's all. Room is good but not properly maintained. Also, keep in mind, you are not going to get good options for food, although it is a farm house. Very very basic food in minimum quantity. No choice is available for vegetables (being a farm house, why only radish and brinjal?) Even if you ask against extra payment, it's a NO. But, the market very near, within 2 km. The first thing offended me, once we reach the property, immediately they ask for balance payment (we booked the property by paying 60% in advance). Toilets (we booked 3 rooms) not cleaned. Even the water closets was shaking (not fixed property/ not maintained properly). For evening snacks we request for chiken pakoda extra. They served for extra (and reasonable price) payment but without chicken. Also, keep in mind, check out time is 11 O'clock means exactly 11 O'clock. But, I must say the location is simply the great.

An awesome resort in true sense of the word. It's hard not to love this place. Situated right at the foothills of the hills overlooking the Rangit river. It's a sight to behold! The raging Rangit river with all it's might is literally a magnificent sight. You are bound to get the feeling that the river is at a touching distance from your balcony. The ambiance is amazing! Perfect for a weekend gateway with your friends /family /loved one. The food is to die for. Each and every items that we had tasted were delicious. I highly recommend everyone to opt for the chicken barbecue. The taste of the chicken barbecue is something else and it's bound to satisfy your taste buds. Their marination of the chicken barbecue is what sets them apart. We stayed at the tree house and it's the best cottage of the lot. Please try and opt for the treehouse if possible. There is a swimming pool as well which you can access. It would be at a walking distance of 5-7 minutes from the property. However, the water of the swimming pool is dirty and isn't ideal for swimming. I opted to take a dip in the Rangit river and it was really amazing. Just be mindful of the rocks as they could be quite slippery filled with moss. The river water is clean. Please be aware about the flow of water as it is quite rapid. The bed linen could be much cleaner though.

It was a wonderful stay with family such beautiful hospitality. I love the place enjoyed the food bonfire and river bank views.

Give yourself a break and enjoy nature at this highly economic farm which is located around Darjeeling.

The location was beautiful. One star for that. Got to friendly German shepherd. As a pet lover second star is for that. The property is with zero maintained. There was a pool full of dead frogs. Service is okeyish. There is no proper booking system. Now rucksack is doing doing booking in the name Rucksack relli. Don't get fooled by that.

Horrible rooms, bathroom. Dirty, Unhygienic. No taste in food. Any adjective is insufficient for them. Rude staff behavior. Worst experience ever. Sorry to say, I will not suggest anyone about this hotel or homestay.

ভীষণ ফালতু সার্ভিস, পুরোটাই লোক দেখানো, এতো বাজে service, food quality এতো খারাপ কোনো ভাষা নেই, জলের সমস্যা আছে ভীষণ, পুরো ব্যাপারটাই এক কথায় চিটিং বাজি হয়েছে। caretaker ph off করে দেয় যখন কোনো সমস্যা হয়।

It is a lovely farm and homestay. The river side rooms are just awesome for a nature loving person. You would enjoy your cup of tea in the morning seating at the balcony of the room and feel the sound of Rythmic flow of river Rangit. The farm is beautiful and very well organized. Stuffs are well behaved and food is very good. There is a swimming pool also where you can have fun.

Located about one and half hour drive from Darjeeling, this secluded resort is a perfect relaxation getaway. Chill by the river or take a dip in the pool, the experience was soothing. Staffs are very polite. Quality of food can be improved.

It's a very beautiful location which is beside of river. Food was good but if you're local visitors they first priority & look into their guest then after we. Anyway overall good

We stayed there for 1 night. Rooms are big but not clean, service is pathetic. Since morning we didn't have any water as pump was not functioning.

We had been there for two days, the place was awesome. We did a lot of activities like swimming in the pool, river, fishing, we had barbeque there as well. Every stuff of this property is very friendly. We took their bike for buying things from market. And they provided the bike without any hesitation. Other than that. If you wanna stay in the heart of nature you will find a few insects as well. Not only different kind of birds. So Don't go through other reviews. Try to explore things with the perspective of the place.

1-1.5 hrs drive from Darjeeling, crossing Bijanbari, will take you to this quaint hamlet called Relling. Even before you enter the premises, you will be amazed by the gurgling sound of the gushing Rangeet river and captivating site of the tea gardens on the opposite side of the river bank. Cottages are nicely made and offer privacy with each cottage having a 5-star balcony opening up to the river. Washing down the chilly chicken by the piping hot tomato soup that right beside the river would be a moment to cherish forever.

If anyone is planning to visit take the route from jorethang to bijanbari.

Service is below average. Food is not at all good. Swimming pool is not in the property, it is 200m away and the water is river water and not clean. Food served is not sufficient for adults. Property is not maintained properly. Staffs are soft spoken. Every service provided is very late. Route via jorthang is comparatively easier than the route via Darjeeling.

The homestay looks beautiful from outside, but the rooms are not cleaned properly, they use direct river water in washroom which is not recommended, washroom is very dirty, room cleaning is not done on regular basis, the spring mattress used in beds are not of good quality, there is power cut most of the time and the generator is not used frequently. They have a swimming pool, which was closed.only plus point of it is the beautiful rangeet river, which is visible from balcony. So if you want to spend a day with the river, you can come here. But if you want properly maintained and clean rooms, then this is not recommended.

The location is good as it is beside the river other than that nothing is even average compared to budget homestays around north bengal. Don't go for the images provided here as they are old images when the resort/homestay was opened newly. The premises is dirty and not maintained at all. Food quality is poor though light on health but not tasty. Quantity of food is also not enough for healthy adults. Staffs are soft-spoken but any service asked for is very late and had to ask for the service repeatedly to get it done. The swimming pool is somewhat nice but the water is river water and 200 m away from the property. Any food ordered from the menu can't be altered as per personal preference. We accidentally broke a table-top glass and had paid (over-paid) for the same.
We booked this place as no other homestays were available then, and this was the only place which was available. And after visiting the place now can figure out why it was available in such short notice in this peak season.
While writing this review i scrolled through other reviews and found that most people had the same experience from past 1-1.5 years and the homestay management is least bothered to upgrade their services and property premises.
About the route- the route through darjeeling is tough compared to the route through jorethang via sikkim and less time consuming.
Overall the stay was not worth the time and money paid for this.

Do not go for bbq or tandoori chicken.in my experience, the tandoori chicken masala was made with sugar.

Location is quite good.rooms are pathetic.broken flooring tap as well as the washroom is just bad.huge water crisis and the wter that came out from tap were dirty.people from the home stay tried their best to help but if nothing is proper can not blame them.do take cab from them.and refer Raju's name.apart from the river and Jamuni sight seeing Raju the cab driver is worth remembering to us.

Very nice place with good apartment and facility, but the main drawback is insects. Some toilet don't have gyser also, river side rooms are very nice

I was there for two days and really spent a gala time in the lap of nature just beside Rangeet river. Staff's behavior was really good and quality of foods up to the mark as you never expect restaurant style foods over there. Then why am I giving three stars? Firstly needs more maintenance of the washroom.geyser was not working properly.water from taps was completely muddy. I personally suggest that the visitors who spend two days over there please send your staff once for cleaning the washroom.please have a look into these above matters.

Awsum location we 13 frnds went to this lovely trip but worst resort, bad service, bathroom doors r broken, washroom water is like mud water u can't take bath and the swimming pool water is like a pool full of germs? I can't recommend this place to any one worst exprience in my all travelling trips, yes u can only visit this place dont stay food is good.

Worst experience ever faced. The homestay was not able to provide basic amenities such as water clean bedsheet. Wasroom was dirty. Swimming pool was just show purpose. Will get definitely skin disease if you dip. Poor service. Not recommend at all.

A newly established resort, spacious rooms and good view of the river from the rooms. Could improve on washroom maintenance and set up of the washrooms. They have a big swimming pool, could be of good use, maintenance needed again. Food available is homely. Drinks available is good too. A decent getaway for the weekend with family or friends. The resort has a good amount of space which could be utilized well, needs a little bit grooming.

A real beautiful place to enjoy the solitude. The flowing water adds the music to the place. The staff and owner is very courteous, warm and friendly! I would recommend this place to all!

Excellent stay.we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. It are looking for peace and serenity for couple of days then you are at the right place. There is a beautiful tea garden is there just opposite of the river. Do not forget to visit that.it's awesome.
From NJP either you can hire full car and come here or take a shared canlb till Darjeeling and then another shared can till Bijonbari. From Bijonbari it's 2 mint drive which the resort owner will arrange.
The stay is basic and food is also basic. Please do not expect any luxury

Great place to relax, detached from the busy city life. Good food great service and most importantly very helpful people.

This is what I call a value for the money.beautiful view, river aside along with the swimming pool, pond, and a small store.you don't have to go anywhere everything under one roof. And what makes it more better is the property owner Sourabh and his staff, there were very helpful, kind and efficient.

Long way to go

Great place to visit with family and friends. Would highly recommend for any family looking for a farm experience. The owner Mr Saurav is extremely hospitable and the staffs were kind and courteous ready to help out and the food was homely. They gave us excellent tea when we arrived. The view was incredible, there wasn't anything we didn't like. This was our first time in Relling Rangeet but it won't be our last. Thank you Saurav for making our stay wonderful.
