Tips for traveling in Darjeeling: always book a hotel which is nearby market. Unless you will spend most of your time in vehicles.if your hotel is not providing that much quality food, you can go to that market for options.so first thing first, We arrived at NJP junction and met a travel agent who told us about this resort. He told us that you will enjoy your trip by staying in this hotel. But Stay away from this hotel if you want to enjoy your trip. This place is a nightmare. The manager will fool you with his flattering voice and speech. But actually he is a pathetic person, he wants to earn as much money as he can. First their cottage was small with foul smelling bedsheets and pillow. The bathroom was not clean. Their was a shortage of water supply. The food is pathetic and very much costly. He charged us rs. 20 for each small sized tawa roti. Don't fall in bonfire trap They organised a bonfire with barbeque by charging rs. 3500. But it was a totally waste for us. The agent told us that they would provide a vehicle for marketing. But the manager denied calling that we don't provide in this peak hour. And unfortunately we missed our marketing as their was no cab or vehicle available online or offline. Don't fall in the trap for just view from this hotel. The whole Darjeeling has a scenario better this.

I stayed at this property with my family and a group of friends and their family. Our trip was planned to celebrate completion of 20 years of service years. Had a beautiful stay and relived those school days. Nice location, courteous staff. The staff even complied to our extra instructions regarding food preparations. They arranged for a enjoyable bonfire with barbecue and karaoke.
Breathtaking views were added attractions.

I visited today itself. Lets take it one step at a time.
1. Entrance-steep stairs, a pathway could have been a better option for elderly people
2. Reception - almost non existent, lousy entry
3. Room - 10 x 10 max, the room starts and ends
4. Poorly maintained toilets.

5. Heater- single rod heater. Charges 500 rs per day per room, i could buy new one in the same price:)
6. Food - manageable to OK
Tea coffee sachets in room - no milk provided. On asking, excuse given is that we provide milk powder sachets only on the morning.

7. Cold weather but no quilt, only simple matress provided. One has to beg for extra blankets. It took them good 3 hours to provide the extra one. I literally had to shout.

Stay here only if you want quiet surrounding. Its far away from carnivals of Mall road etc

Avoid having food here, though the quality of food was very good but they charge very high as per the general price.
Otherwise it was a great experience. Service was also good.

I just love the environment. And hotel staffs? Really awesome. I love Darjeeling very much, this property is one of the reason. Room, foods, behaviour, location, environment is just fabulous in one word. Yes, it’s located far away from the main market, but I love to stay here to mental peace. I will recommend this property to everyone who want to lost in between hills and nature. I found some bad reviews in GoIbibo, I can’t able to make reviews there, but I strongly suggest this is the best staffs and management I had ever seen. Do well, I will come again and again. ️

Serenity all around. Hospitality was at par with the best. Staff were cordial. Laundry services should be added because its difficult to wash n dry clothes for tourists. Heaters in dining room could be added. Intercoms to call reception directly should be there.
Food was good. But needed some improvement. Barbecue was Awessssum.

One of the best places to stay while going to Darjeeling. The location is awesome away from the crowding main town of Darjeeling. Breath taking view of Kanchenjungha from the rooms is something to die for. The hotel is located in Jalapahar. Manager Mr Uday and his awesome guitar strikes the right note. And to top it all the kitchen makes just like home foods as per your liking. The momos are cooled right in front and are awesome. Dont forget about mini the house pet. This place with its awesome view will definitely let tiger hill a slip.

A very beautiful resort. Rooms were spacious and everything was very close to nature. You can hear the toy train's cutw whistle during the afternoon. It was all indeed very peaceful

Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads!
We had a great stay. Awesome hospitality. Great food. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting Darjeeling.

Good location but staff not very cooperative or friendly. Food taste is average and expensive

Rooms are cozy and proper for two. Situated in a very beautiful spot. The view fron the hotel is very mesmerising. But had some problems with water flow and should have some facilities like heater and electric kettel since it's very cold there.
