Located at walking distance from Chandannagar Station, it's a cozy book cafe having refreshing ambience and good snacks. Reading experience is amazing there and also food items are not pricey at all.
You may share a nice experience by being there. Neat and clean also well decorated. They have a wide choice of menu and reasonably priced. I frequently visit this joint.
Nice place to hangout with friends and family. Books are there for reading. Nice ambience. Food quality is good. I will suggest not to add jaljeera in fresh lime soda that actually spoils the raw taste of lime. #travelwithpal
We have ordered chicken mughlai, chicken cheese ball, fish hot and chips, chili chicken, veg fried rice, cappuccino, fresh ginger cocktail, fresh lime soda. Every item is really good in taste. Ambience and staff behaviour is very friendly.
The place was great. I was literally their first customer. But I did not have to wait long for the food to arrive. It tasted delicious. The cold coffee was great. Frothy. N the sandwich was very tasty. So were the French fries.
The food was delicious and the presentation was also very beautiful. The ambience of the restaurant is also very nice. The staff and the lady in the reception is very sweet and has a wonderful gesture. We have celebrated the born day of my father in law
Visited on 22/07/21, the interior is fantastic! Great food, friendly atmosphere. You may read some famous books here. In one word the best place to visit with your family and friends, BEST CAFE IN CHANDANNAGAR
RR CAFE Chandannagar has recently launched their winter special menu & FoodZpah Vlog was there for the coverage. The service was on point & both the quality & quantity of food was commendable. What we had: •Fish & Chips (Recommended) The fish was really fresh and worked well with the dip they provided. •Mughlai Paratha (Recommended) This is their USP. I have never a mughlai paratha so thick, its absolutely loaded with meat. Its a meal and a half. •Chinese Veg Combo (Recommended) This was surprisingly good. The rice was really very flavourful. Loved it! •Corn Cheese Croquettes The cheese used wasn't mozzarella rather it had a runny texture. I found it decent coz I like that texture, most might not like it as was the case with my friends who visited. •Spicy Ginger Mocktail This was refreshing, nothing extraordinary.
Nice cozy place for a quick bite. Tasty food with affordable prices. Ambience is beautiful. Staff behaviour is good, Seating arrangements are quite good. Loved the place.
Its not so good, not so bad. Cafe culture is new in Chandernagore. Thats the reason people flock here. The food is nothing praise worthy. Other local etaeries in Chandernagore, serve better tastier food.
Unreasonable price as comparing to local area. Very High price egg rools starting from Rs 60.if you want to take selfies and show off you can go there. Only snacks type food and Starter is available there.
The ambience and décor is excellent but the food falls awfully short of expectations. The space is small, and is too noisy when full, is another issue. Not really the place for introvert book readers, but a place to chat with over some tea.
I find the place really very cozy and comfortable. Food items are value for money. I ordered a Latte, french fries, and chicken sandwich. Coffee wasn’t that much strong, whereas the chicken sandwich was mind blowing. All foods they have a little collection of books in various fields.
A typical cafeteria or coffee shop with fully Air-conditioned, pleasant indoor decoration. Waiters, receptionists, staffs are very polite and behaviour is gentle. You can stay here sometime for a coffee break to feel atmosphre of a small coffee house.
This is a nice place to spend time in evening to munch and sip coffee/shakes and even read a book (books are available in counters). The aesthetic of the place is very vibrant and colorful. The menu choices are plenty and the price is a tad above the avergae price present at nearby restaurants (flavors). However the experience makes it worth it.
Delicious food Good ambience Very clean place.most importantly The rates are inclusive of Gst. The cold coffee is a must have along with the chicken kabiraji.
The atmosphere of Cafe is very warm and friendly. Foods r delicious. We ordered two plates of chicken sandwich which is yammy and price is very reasonable. Very hygiene. There also a small collection of books for book lovers.
A newly opened foodie destination. It's listed over Zomato and Swiggy. Ordered fish kobiraji from here. It costs around 150 rupees. The food packaging was good. The quality and taste of food was also good. But the food contained a good amount of oil, so if the oil could be soaked post processing of food, it would be good. And the fish kobiraji came with some potato chips packed with it in the same container. And due to the ample amount of oil, the chips lost its crispy nature. So, if the chips could be packed separately or in some zip packets, then it would be better. Other than these, thank you for the food.
Little bit expensive rather than other cafes. Well decorated. You can read books while you are taking your foods. Various kinds of books are available here. I have tested crispy chicken, egg chicken devil and cold coffee. Food quality is good but little bit overpriced. Example: chicken egg devil plate contains 3 medium size devils with 150 price tag. Check attached pictures.
This newly launched cafe at chandannagar is a must visit place. The interior and paintings is very attractive. It has seating arrangement of about 25-30 people. Mainly bengali starters is available now with Darjeeling tea and coffee. We ordered Chicken egg devil, chicken grilled sandwich and cappuccino.
Good ambience. Good service. Ordinary food. Questionable hygiene. I got a strand of hair in my Corn & Cheese ball. They changed it and refunded the money. Still not desirable. Not worth a second visit.
A refreshing ambience with sober decorations and lots of books. A good place to hang out and spent memorable times with friends and family. Foods and beverages are quite selective over here, and I'm sure you will surely love the place.
Except the interior decoration and the ambience which they tried to built a bit of Studious Bengali Boys room, every food you crave for seeing the menu will be a total bluff when served! Too much expensive for such type of cooking.
We visited that place to have some snacks and tried several items. That was a great experience? But I must say, The decorations were "Bengali Culture" Based and I loved it.
1st cafe in Chandannagar with bengali flavour. Taste and ambiance is fantastic. Staff behaviour is very good. They have limited menu.since its a cafe one request.they should have coldcoffee options.
Would have loved it if u had put the effort u put into packaging in the taste of food instead. I had ordered egg chicken roll and lassi. The lassi has a salty taste to it which I personally do not prefer in lassis. The roll was definitely not worth the price. It's nowhere close to the kathi junction league even though it charges almost the same.
