Rudra Bhawan - Darjeeling Heritage Hotel & Restaurant

The place is in renovation. I think they should finish work before renting the rooms. The passage and lobby is undone. They wish to save a lot of money by keeping all lights closed in passage and lobby area throughout the day and night and the manager will guide with mobile torch light to your room. The breakfast is good in terms of quantity and quality both. They have maximum covered parking for 2-3 cars only. They provide room portable heaters only after consistent persuasion and charge Rs500 per day for the same (for darjeeling it should a basic amenity considering the room doesnt have ac or fan). Room has smart tv with no access to any ott platform or local network. U can login with your profile.
Last but not least they have extremenly disturbed hot water supply system which works by switching on and off buttons across various rooms n central heater. We had to manage by heating water in kettle
To sum up please finish your contruction and check everything before keeping guests.

View from the hotel is mesmerizing & spectacular. One can enjoy sunrise & sunset from the comfort of their room. Hospitality is great. All in all, a great place to stay in Darjeeling!
