Been here for the buffet lunch customised for our specific needs viz. Sans onion and garlic.

The spread was quite good especially the subjis were too good.

We enjoyed at our hearts content. Excellent service, cozy rooms, clean swimming pool tasty food

Used to work at Shobhandeep maity Hotel for six months, but the hotel is very bad, the interest is very bad, and all the staff are treated badly. I have worked for 3 months but no pay any amount payment.this hotel is very bad

I have booked hotel for 25th of October and I got confirmation, but unfortunately I will not be able to visit as I have to travel abroad due to office work.
As per policy I was supposed to get 75% refund but Hotel in not ready to return back the money.

It's really unfortunate to hear Rupasi Rupnarayan Hotel are making fraud with customers.

Location was awesome, so as the atmosphere. However the main attraction of Jhulan room is the Jhulan with river view. But I found the view is partially blocked by other construction. Didnt enjoy the window view at all. The additional money I paid for Jhulan room is wasted.
Food was okish, nothing spectacular.
Another thing which I didnt like was the drinking water. First they asked me to buy it from restaurant, however when I resisted, they filled the bottle I was carrying. I felt the drinking water should have been provided without asking and without additional cost.
Staffs were all well mannered and everything was hastle free,

Great design and thoughtful landscaping, superb rooms, very courteous staff and service. We visited this place second time in 9 months and this time we stayed for 2 nighta. Stayed in the "Maharani Suite", with a majestic view of the Rupnarayan river and with complete privacy along with my family.
Two requests:

1- Fix stoppers on the doors of the balcony.the enjoyment of nice breeze at the top floor gets interrupted as the doors bang back
2- install small exhaust fans in the bathrooms

The drive from and to Salt Lake is wonderful, and even the sneak out to Mecheda for mochar chop or to Sher e Punjab for a good lunch/ dinner, if you choose to drive out.

Overall, great experience! Both with friends and family, alike.

The property enjoys a great location. Overall neat and clean. The room in which we stayed was good enough in size. The biggest negetive for this property is the food prices. IT IS EXORBITANT. The swimming pool was also not very clean. Service was prompt. Onsite staff was very courteous. Overall pretty costly stay.

One of the best family resort I ever have visited. The resort is a typical family type resort with a very homely ambience. It's very well maintained in all aspects. The rooms, the lobby, the garden, the pool. Everything seems to be very well furnished and well maintained. I will highly give a five star when the cleanliness and sanitization issues of this resort is concerned. My kids love this place.
When the room service and other services is concerned, I must say I am highly satisfied with their fully trained and very professional staffs. The food here is ine aabid costly side, but when you consider the quality of food and the quantity they served, we had no way to regret it. The complementary breakfast in the morning was excellent, the staffs in the Restaurant are very helpful and friendly and they served us in a very family manner which we loved the most.
The ambience in this resort is very pleasing for a weekend trip, I love this place has one of my most preferred weekend destination as it is just one and a half hours drive from my residential place.

Worst Management. Poor Room Service. Food is exorbitantly expensive. Even you need to purchase Drinking Water & Ice Cubes.

If you're unhappy with a review it's OK. Not an issue. But please don't try to hide facts with "Jargon". U've never been asked for further packaged water apart from the assigned one, rather U've asked for SIMPLE AQUA GUARD WATER. I think this bare minimum choice should have been there for a guest who is spending a significant amount for One Night. Oh! Sorry! For You it's MINISCULE. For me it's a lot of money as You're not going to pay on my behalf. Your Room Service categorically denied to supply Aqua Guard water and tried to pressurise to purchase Packaged Water. Actually a small person like me is not fit for Your Big Plush Proprty. It's not Profanity, rather it's Reverence towards my own Sanctity /Truthfulness Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

Nice place.nice rooms.foods and staffs are also good.but one thing that disappointed me a lot.that is.they offered only packaged drinking water.as per their rules they do not serve normal water in rooms.so you also have to made your coffee with packaged water.make maggi for my daughter, in the electric kettle.or else they suggest u to fill your own bottle from their RO machine. I really don't know that is legal or not.anyone can inform me plz.

Rooms are good, stay was comfortable. Staffs were also good. But food is extremely costly, all main course is above 450. I went with my family for a day and the food bill was almost equivalent to the two room charges. They don't allow you to take food from outside and the main road far away from the hotel.

The service is absolutely bad and they're incapable of handling too many people together. We faced innumerable problems during our stay. It has been such a bad trip, it's not even worth elaborating. Just to know that RRK has a great location and superb decor. Other than this, pretty much everything is appalling.

Staffs are not co operative during stays.
Prices are so higher than a 5star hotel.
Morning time if you delayed to wake up, their breakfast goes ended. Even not served breakfast after 11AM.

It is a very nice place to spend the weekends near to Kolkata. Resort is located on the banks of Rupnarayan river. Rooms are spacious and all amnite are present. Food in the inhouse restaurant is expensive and the service is pathetic in the restaurant. They will ask you to order 3 hours before Lunch or dinner, however even then they will make you wait for 30-45 minutes to serve food. Absolutely ridiculous. Water also they will give 4 bottles in a day (500 ml each). Beyond that it is chargeable. Rest all are good.

Location is very good. Rooms are good and clean but very disappointed with other things. Foods are toooo costly. Just a plain rice dal omlet and aloo vaja costs 825.behaviour of the staffs are not that good. We were a big group. Locks of the room were not in a good condition. Every time it was trouble opening the lock. One godrej key was broke when we were trying to open the lock. They charged 500 for that. Our one pair of slippers and sunglass were lost from the pool area. The pool was dirty and they were not ready to clean it. Overall so and so experience.

For staying it's an amazing place.but food is way too much expensive and they are inconsistent in making food.same item if you order second time, they will serve food which has completely different taste and colour.

Awesome ambiance! You can spend a pleasant afternoon and evening just sitting beside the Rupnarayan river and enjoying the flawless breeze!

Worst experience ever. The owner's behaviour is not at all acceptable. We booked the dormitory for a day. Initially they asked 8000/- which was decreased to 7.5k after some request. Breakfast was mentioned as complimentary whereas they charged us for the same. When enquired they said as 500 /- was discounted so breakfast deal was removed. Is this some joke?

Restaurant facilities need to be improved. We have faced a bad experience in breakfast table. People were gathering but enough meals not available.

SWIMMING POOL IS NOT PROPERLY MAINTAINED. ITS TOO DIRTY WATER IN SWIMMING POOL. ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND FOOD WAS ALSO GOOD. ONLY ISSUE WITH ME WAS SWIMMING POOL WHICH IS IN VERY BAD. OTHERWISE HOTEL IS FANTASTIC.

Location is awesome.
Best for hosting any event or even for a weekend getaway the perfect place in town. Located a few miles off the NH6 highway and is great place for a cool breezing weekend with friends and family even for children with a nice pool and great amenities. Besides i must mention the staffs are well behaved and are ready to help you in need.

Food is decent with self service in their restaurants.

The parking is also good with ample space for many vehicles.

Above all I saw a helipad beside the resort don't know for sure if its theirs.but in short it is a magnificent place for a quick bite and relaxation on a weekend drive.
