This is my 1st visit here. Service and manager's behaviour: very good, but location and WiFi facilities are not good, upto the mark

Food is overpriced

We went to Tajpur 1st April 2023 and stayed at Sabuj Saikat Resort on 1st and 2nd April 2023. Our overall experience is very good. The following are the pros and cons in my opinion:

Pros:
1. Service and the behavior of each staff
2. Location (just 2mnts away from Tajpur beach)
3. Quality of food (Mutton and Pomfret-Sorshe were just awesome!)
4. Property (with ample open space for bonfire and kids' playing)

Cons:
1. Bathrooms could be be little bit more clean
2. Small and new hand wash bottle should be provided. The hand wash bottle, we got in our bathroom, was not clean and was worn out.
3. If some more variations could be introduced in breakfast then it would be great!

We had a very pleasant and fantastic weekend trip at Tajpur Sabuj Saikat Resort. We were a team of 15 adult and 3 kids. The resort was in great location just 20 steps from the beach. Room was given clean and well maintained. Food option was very good as Bengali fish lovers can have all kind of fish options.
Manager and all other staff behaviour is also very good. They always reply with a smiling face if we require anything. Especially we have one 2 years kids in our group they arrange all the necessary food for her like milk. Boiled and semi boiled egg dal with out spice that sorts of things.
We are very happy and pleased with their services. Wish all of you good luck and stay safe.

A decent place to stay for a few days with friends and family.
Excellent room service.most of the things that one may need is just a phone call away. Manager and staff are very well mannered and helpful. Sea beach is 2min walk
CONS: Food is slightly overpriced

Nice place to stay near sea beach.hospitality is very good. Staffs are well mannered polite helpful.
But food quality needs improvement.

Pros:
Location was too good.
Service was good

Cons:
Conditions of rooms were not good.
Blankets were too dirty and smelly.
AC was not working properly.
Doors and windows were not in good condition.

Very nice resort with affordable price. Well behaved stuff, lots of greenery, tasty food made our stay memorable.

The location and service is good, the rooms are spacious and well ventilated, but due to volatge fluctuations the the AC voltage stabilizer was making horrible noise throughout the night, and sometimes sparks was also seen, hence couldn't have sound sleep. Food is a bit overpriced, cooking is mediocre, rather the beach restaurants provided tastier foods. Would not recommend fooding from here.

It's a good place to stay in the weekend. Sea beach is a couple of minutes walk. The ambience is good and homely. However, there is a lack of professionalism which is overcome by the cosy and friendly attitude of staff. Overall, recommended.

Myself Sandeep, my wife Jhinuk and my daughter Yashoshree visited this SABUJ SAIKAT Resort at TAJPUR on 1st October, 2022 & to be honest we thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay in this very homely atmosphere. All accomodations in this Resort are Cottage based and all the Cottages are well furnished with king-size beds, excellent AC and an extra space with sofas and glass table. Toilets were also clean with geyser facilities. The behaviour of the staffs were awesome, always ready to meet the satisfaction of the tourists. Coming about the quality of food, I must say that it was more than my satisfaction. Cooking of each dishes were too delicious and quantity was sufficient. The resort is very clean & well maintained with ample space for car parking. Above all, the sea beach is only a 5 minutes walk from this Resort. Our experience for this one night stay in SABUJ SAIKAT is more than my expectation and would certainly suggest every tourists to have this wonderful experience by visiting this Resort once.

Room are inferior considering Tariff & food menu is very limited, you'l have have what they serve. Beach is near but not attractive like New Digha or Udaypur Beach.

The place is good but the beach near the hotel not so good, foods are bit expensive than mandeemani.

Staffs are super friendly! Ambience is good! Food is super tasty! Only one area that needs improvement is the overall hygiene in the restaurants and the rooms!

Visited 03-06-22 to 05-06-22. This is my 3rd or 4th visit to this property. Must mention have been always found this place to be nothing less than fantastic. We had booked 3 rooms. One of the room (#114) had an AC problem, Mintu and the manager Sambhu was quick to change the room. The staffs are very very helpful. The room was good and food was awesome. The shacks on the beach has also become all the more better. Good place for a weekend getaway.

Nice resort with free WiFi, moderate rooms, average kitchen, good room service, ample parking space, very close to sea beach at Tajpur tourist place. Charges are moderate. A good choice of a weekend tour.

We stayed here for 2nights and 3days.
Rooms are clean and hotel situated 1min (or less than that) walking distance from sea beach. Staffs are well behaved and trying their best serve guests.
I've enjoyed my staying here.
Only one thing I've noticed that on 2nd day they didn't changed bedsheet and towels but we ignored as maximum time we spent outside of the hotel.
We will try to stay here on out next visit to Tajpur.

We went to sabuj saikat with our friends for a short one day trip, the place is near to beach which is one of the plus point of this place which attracts traveller.
Service is good, the employees try to do their best for the guests. If you are not interested eating in beach shacks then you can have their meal plan for 750 which includes Breakfast lunch snacks dinner. For Bengali travellers it's quite a good deal, decent food they serve you.

But if you are looking for good accomodation with atleast 3 facilities, let me warn you it's not your place. The rooms are very basic multiple pest infestation exists in rooms. Frequent power cut and voltage fluctuations is very common in the area. Unlike other hotels they provide power back up for basic need like fan and light but not ac ot gyser.

Overall it's good for 1 day travel.

Last 27th -29th we visited the resort for family trip. We all are satisfied in all respect. It is 1-1.5 mint from beach. The best thing is quality and taste of food. It is delicious though little bit costly. The behavior of stuff and Manager is very good. Room service is ok. Just to say if you go to with food package confirm clearly extra quantity is chargeable or not.

We stayed in this property for one day. From this resort, sea is 2 minutes away. What I liked about this place is their hospitality. It's such a homely place that you would possibly like to ignore few maintenance issues. Food quality is very good and I suppose their 750/- package is also very cost effective given the fact that in package they cover breakfast, lunch, dinner, evening snacks (chicken/veg pakora) and tea/coffee. Another good thing is their car parking facility is within their campus. All in all, had a great stay.

Spacious room and prompt service. Homely food (bhaat, daal, sabzi, chicken) and snacks were served as well. Friendly staff. The lawn is beautiful and spacious. Beach is literally 2 mins walking distance. There's a grocery store nearby providing with all sorts of daily needs. Overall I loved the place and would definitely go back again!

Nice place for spending weekend. Very cordial and helpful staff. Behavior of the staff and their service and the food served here attract again and again.

Spacious and clean rooms. Food is very tasty and service is also very good. 2min away from sea beach. There are a few shacks at beach. Beverages and snacks are available there.

Had a good stay at this place. We were a group of 11 people (all aged between 25-30). The resort is located quite close to the sea beach. Parking and Wifi available. There are cradles in the garden. All rooms are in cottage style and are affordable. Clean and spacious. However the food package is not so good (based on the price and quantity).

Went there on April 2022, rooms are below average. Price wise it's not upto the mark. Location is fine, service are medium. Overall medium standard.

Best hotel in terms of Service & Food Quality. Outstanding experience staying at this resort.

Tajpur is the only sea beach in west Bengal where you can really enjoy calm and quite away from crowd. Sabuj Saikat Resort is just 1 minute distance from sea beach. Sabuj Saikat is a beautiful reasort with wide loan with full of greenary. Rooms of the cottage are very big with 5 person can stay in a room. They have a nice Restaurant. The manager and the staffs are all very good behaved specially Mithu. Only food is little bit costly. Overall it is a nice Resort very close to sea beach.

Great place to stay within the budget. You can visit with family or friends or alone, it's a nice place for the weekend at Tajpur. Just a minute away from the sea beach. Free wifi, inside car parking available with wide lawn and cradles for the children. Staff is well behaved.

The place is good but the price of food package is high keeping in mind the quantity of food given.

It is a beautiful resort located very close to the beach.with clean and spacious rooms and parking facility. Staffs are amicable and well mannered. The only drawback is the food package. The package cost is high considering the quality and quantity of food. You will get better food at more reasonable rates at the shacks located on the beach.

Accomodation and fooding was great. Resort is very close to the beach, 2 mins walking distance. Resort have a lot of open space with garden in the front of the rooms. Good for family outing at sea.

Nice place to stay. Very good ambiance and close to beach. Rooms are well maintained. Staffs are courteous. Definitely one of the best option to stay in Tajpur.

Had a lovely stay at the hotel. We were a group of 12 people (aged between 4to 70). They took good care of everyone's needs and comfort even though the hotel was packed with guests over the new year's Eve. Food served was really tasty and services were prompt. Rooms are spacious, clean. Resort is very close to sea.

The place was beautiful, office admins and other staffs behaviour just awesome. Quality of food, environment were superb. All together i i suggest to visit Sabuj Saikat once.it's really worth.all the best to Sabuj Saikat family

All staffs are Very Friendly. Food quality is aslo good, specially "French Fry" (Evening Snacks).

Worst quality of food.and rooms are not cleaned. Price of food is too much as per the quality. I am totally unsatisfied.

Very good staff, great food and tidy rooms. Best property near the Tajpur Beach. Enough parking space and accommodation for Driver is good. Staff are very helpful.

This is the second time visiting this resort. It's location and campus is well maintained and it's well lit in the evening too. The sea is just stone's throw from the resort. The best part of this place is the quality of the food and the cordial behavior of the stuff. Tajpur is an exotic place so don't compare the price of food and stay with nearby tourist spot like Digha or Mandarmani. It's great place to stay and CHILL couple of days with friends or family if you would like to retreat from the daily busy schedule. We were never disappointed here.

Very nice place, good food however maintenance needs to improve. They are taking care of current situation by sanitizing all rooms. Just two minutes from the beach. I regularly visit this place.

Only resort in tajpur which has a sanitization booth. Service is good! Food costly but at par with other tajpur resorts. Safe and nearby beach.
Go for it if u are in tajpur.:)

THE FOOD AND THE SERVICES PROVIDEE BY THE PEOPLE THERE REALLY INSPIRED US. IT WAS MORE THAN SATISFYING STAYING THERE

We visited this resort for a weekend trip and can't appreciate more the experience we had in this place! The first thing you will notice, how extremely polite the hotel staffs are. From the manager to the cooks, everyone was well behaved and professional. The warm hospitality we received from "Mitntu Da", is beyond expectation. This was one of very few places I ever visited to have such nice staffs.
The rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. The lawn is also well maintained. Apart from that, the food quality was really good and reasonable. Especially the Bengali dishes were very tasty. A highly recommend placed to stay in Tajpur.

Awesome service and well maintained. One of the oldest resorts of Tajpur. Hardly 50 mtrs from sea beach.

A decent hotel with decent rooms and good food. Do not expect five Star facilities or service here. Everything is basic but it works. The food package was quite good with homely dishes cooked as per order. But the weather was strange when we visited. The weather app (climacell) on my phone showed that it might be foggy, and it wasn't lying. There was a strange fog on the beach till about 11 AM, and then it suddenly cleared off.

Good for staying. Great food. Cordial and professional staffs Anup, Mintu, Rahul, Biswajit and others. The cook is superb. Rooms are spacious and clean. Spacious cupboard for storage. Cable TV for entertainment and couches for conversations. Rooms are exactly as seen on photos in the website. Spacious and well maintained garden with dxotic species of plants and swings. Security is tight with cctv cameras. Beach and viewpoints both are close.

Good rooms with facilities like gyser, ac, wifi, free room service. Food was also very good at reasonable price. Staffs are well behaved.

If you are looking for a calm and quiet place with good bengali food, this is the resort for you.

A nice and cozy place with lots of greenery. You will love the garden area with lots of bushes and vegetation. The beach is nearby as well although not visible from resort. The restaurant meals are homely and likeable throughout. Power outage is a problem and we had to deal with it throughout our stay. The place looked a bit understaffed but that all in all a good time spent.

Got a emergency room there. The owner was too nice to accomodate us at such a short notice. It's a 2 min walking distance from the beach. It's highly recommended to stay there. The owner will take care of it food. Food is little bit costly but it's great if there is group of 5-6 people. Couples are welcome there. Cottages are too good nd it's comes at a reasonable price. There's sofa, bed and a bathroom, and a dresser is there in each cottages. Emergency generator is there.

If you are planning to visit Tajpur then you must have to choose this place for staying. Sabuj Saikat is very close to the sea beach only a few yards. This resot is well maintained. They have a famiky restaurant and they provides you bed tea, morning breakast, lunch, evening snacks with tea and lastly dinner with excellent food quality. Here you will be provided with separate cottages for staying. Resort is surrounded with various trees and plants.

The place is nearby sea beach. The place is good clean and spacious. The tents being for 2persons only, there is no disturbance. Parking of car can be availved. Food is also good.
