Sahara Restaurant

One of the oldest Restaurants in IIT Kharagpur campus. Established around 1985. A decent place to have regular lunch as well as dinner. Can definitely be visited once for normal meals.
Open all days except Monday.

Most of the curry items ordered from here are not healthy at all.you'll find bad smell (oily) sometimes in biriyani.price is higher if you order from swiggy.

I found this place quite good in terms of quality of food and service they offer. If you love punjabi food then this is good place. (I said good not best!). Owner and other staff are very good.

Bought one egg tadka. It had a strong weird smell which confirmed that it had become stale. Please be confirmed about the quality before buying any items from here.

Food is cheap in price. Food is good but service is not good. Here normal Chinese tandoori biriyani all types is available. Restaurantis situated iit campus. And Also AC restaurant available here. Best students, group, and also for family. And best place for couple.
They also serve coffee. Service is satisfactory. Food is average.cheap and affordable and environment is good.
But also remember there are limited workers to take order but crowed is getting huge day by day.thanks

Horrible restaurant, not deserving a single star. Horrible service. Poor food quality, poor hygiene. Not at all recommended.

Nice restaurant. The Punjabi cuisine is very tasty but the ambience is spoiled if you visit in the evening due to the mosquitoes and flies.

Best place to visit in IIT Kharagpur for great meal. The owner (Sardarji) is a humble person when it comes to hotel establishment. But also remember there are limited workers to take orders and the crowd is getting huge day by day. So, hope you will understand the situation there. Otherwise, I, myself used to visit there after work.
