Samrat Sweets

Not all sweets are good enough. Sandesh contains maida. Not pure chana. Shingara sometimes good sometimes awful. Same with jalebi. Not so much variety and price is in little high comparing with quality. Rasagullas are also not pure chana, maida mixed. Misti doi not good. Basically it is going on since others did not developed and by name. In South Bengal there are n numbers of small sweet shops who sells far better quality sweets than this vivbrat. Even a local boy who used to sell rosogollas and pantua, visiting house to house, gives pure chana n high quality. Today he gets so much order that he has to say no to many. At least his sweets are ten times better than any sweet shops in Toto town kochu Bihar.

Nice variety. Especially rosomalai, malai chop, goond ladoo, kalo jam, singara. You can also get sugar free misti here which is apt for people with diabetes.

It's a great place to visit if you are a sweet lover. Lots of variety available here, but if you are visiting around 7-8 pm most of their special sweets will be sold out at that time so try to visit earlier. Their samosa is a must try, rasmalai is also good. They also have sugar free sweets (for diabetic patients).

If you live in coochbehar, you have had sweets from Samrat. This is one of the best Sweet shops here. The shop is always crowded, My personal favourite is the "puri sabji" which they offer for breakfast and "hot Rosgolla" which you can get in the evening. The owner and the staff is very nice and recently they have added UPI payment System for cashless payment.

One among the few good sweet maker's in Coochbehar with traditional touch of sweets. And easy round the clock quick snack centre. A lot of varieties available.
