Kolkata's only reputed hostel and PG service accommodation Its name is sandree home, very good service and very good behavior from owner to staff, also their food is very good, if anyone come to kolkata and looking for PG or hostel then only sandree home is the best choice.

From 2019 to 2021 I spent almost 3 years in this PG, even I paid my rent in the COVID period and their cleaning staf and other support team was not available at that time but I didn't had any issue with that, but just after COVID period in 2021 I was out of station and their staff allotted my bed to any other person, when I came and asked with their staff Nirmal, he told me to shift on other floor or go wherever you want I will not give you bed even after paying of full amount, I had a very bad argument with this guy and I left my room, seriously there behaviour is very bad, I will never recommend any one to stay their, they are really very very cheap people, Niramal is really a cheap person, he is always ready to argument with any one, even he had a fight with a person in same PG.

I have stayed here for 6 months, I am extremely happy with their service and I got my refund on time. Thank you SANDREEHOME

One of the worst pg in newtown area. If there is any other poor adjective to describe this pg, then it will be that. The behavior of the owner is very bad. They r doing just cheap business. They are trying to provide 3 sharing room while saying it 2 sharing, and trying to took the amount of 2 sharing. Room condition, floor condition is one of the worst, like a fish market. Ac is not working, fridge is also very bad. They r charging ₹600 for maintenance fee, while nothing is taken care of. In my opinion there are few more better pg to move on rather than this worst pg. I am also sharing few snaps of the room condition where my friend supposed to move.

Management is friendly and up to the point, facilities are good, one of the best class pg's available here. Totally worth

It is the worst hostel or pg i have ever seen in my entire life.
The food, the size of the rooms, the accommodation and everything else is disgusting.
Things do not go as they had said to us before joining this hostel or pg.
Everyone is irresponsible.
The fare amount is very high. As much money we are paying for the hostel we do not get that kind of food quality.
The rice is not cooked properly. The rotis are raw and so hard to tear and the dal is like a mixture of water and turmeric.
There are no proper kitchen facilities and many more.
There is either one day outing or two day outing. The behaviour of the people belonging to this sandree home is also not good. The transportation system is also bad.
I am not recommending this to anyone.
Totally unsatisfied.
Please don't come here and destroy your life.

It is not at all as shown in the picture. The fare here is not what it looks like. Room service here is not as good as it says. Over all the house is in a bad place. And very expensive

One of the worst ever pg in newtown. They will provide you 3rd hand fridge, washing machine etc. Very costly the owner is just doing cheap buisness by providing worst facilities and also they will charge security fees which differ from person to person. If you visit their office you will feel like they are so professional which is a fake thing. If you use induction they will charge you penalty as well and they beg for good reviews giving 5 star for worst services I hope Noone lives here instead use ur mind and find another pg a lot are available good ones in newtown only

My relative got trapped into thei false commitments.they committed exclusive girls PG but now keeping boys as well.it's just not safe place.they are minting money with false commitments.rooms are shabby.they keep changing rooms. Keeps pressure on students to change rooms and bring new girls in the trap

Want to stay in jail? Sandree PG is for you. Horrible food, non functional wifi, rude staff, unreasonable restrictions, greedy owner, unhyginic toilets. Everything in single package. And forget about Security deposite as soon as you pay them. You are not going to get it back.

Please dont stay here. Worst pg in newtown as they will loot you and never return your security deposit. Wrost staff here.

Horrible place.
1) Wi-Fi do not work in rooms. So attending online lectures are not possible. When Girl students tried to give mass complaint, they refused to accept it.
2) Food is extremely pathetic and oily. Recently in boys PG, they mass boycotted it for few days.
3) Too many restrictions.
4) Mr Somnath forces students to stay for an year minimum. If anyone tries to leave in-between due to inconvenience, he shouts and misbehaves with them.
5) Since they get lots of customer due to tie up with Sister Nivedita University, they behave like govt department. Extremely rude staff and inhuman behavior.
5) THEY DO NOT RETURN SECURITY DEPOSITE.

It is a horrible place to stay. Kindly stay away from this place.

To SNU Students: It is not compulsory to stay here. Many students opt for other PGs or share flat. There are N number of PGs in Newtown and almost everyone of them is better than Sandree PG.

And to Mr Somnath: YOU ARE EXTREMELY HORRIBLE AS HUMAN BEING.

3 stars for giving fridge and washing machine. Better compared to other PG’s.

First time when I came to Kolkata I didn't know where to live my parents were little tensed that how my daughter is going to live alone but then I came to know about this beautiful accomodation called sandree home and it's been three years from now I feel at home there I have to leave now because I have got job but I would really recommend this accomodation as this is in the middle of the city you don't have to look for shopping malls or reliance fresh or Spencer's it's on your walking distance. I would say this is the great paying guest I have spend my 3 years

It's a complete home place and it has all the accommodation appliances required for a proper living the wifi service and other appliances like refrigerator and the most important washing machine which is most important for bachalors. It's a good environment to live.

Sandree home is the very very worst place to stay. Don't believe the good reviews which gave by other peoples. The sandree home managers and owners are very rude people. Usually they won't give the advance payment (5000). If we ask the payment while leave, they will treat the customers like begger. Food also not good. You can find stones, hair in the food. They want money. That's it.

The PG is good for staying who are studying or working in near by any office or any building. The PG provide lots of amminities and the people working are really good and helpful. I should say that everyone should prefer this PG.

I have stayed for more than one year and I had a good experience staying over there. You get full furnished pg at low cost. Just one month rent is taken as advance which is fully refundable.

It's been a week since I have moved to their pg but I haven't got an almirah yet. I called them for the same, to which they reply it will be provided tomorrow, but that tomorrow never seems to come. I have stayed at Sandree Home for the past 3 years and it has been a pleasant experience all together. The facilities are really good like TV, washing machine, refrigerator etc. The staff behaviour is also very good. All our queries and complaints get answered promptly through emails. Even the food provided is good for breakfast and dinner.
It has been a great experience staying at Sandree Home. You can get very good accomodation at reasonable prices. Maid is also appointed by the PG owners who comes everyday to clean all the rooms and bathrooms. So cleanliness is given utmost importance here. All the flats are in really good condition so you'll feel like staying there the first time you see it. Also while leaving if you inform as per the notice period, you will get the full refund back. All in all, I would recommend you to stay here.

Worst of all paying guest houses ever. You might be attracted looking at the newly constructed rooms, but trust me, the owners running this pg are goons. The Lady and the guy will not return your deposit back. They may also ask deductions for unnecessary spoilage that occurs naturally to any materialistic object. The guy named Nirmal, will try to act very friendly but these guys don't stand for their words too. I would suggest, go for Panchsheel which is on the main road between tank no 3 and Annapurna sweet shop, just adjacent to Ahirini market. (For boys)

And girls? Keep Sandree as your last option. There are plenty more good ones

As per my experience this a very good P. G home which is very good for students and working people also. It is very safe and u feel like home here and u can enjoy all the festivals like diwali, saraswati puja & all here and u can easily find all your necessities here

Nice place for people who are looking for homely environment.
And the food is good and it is nicely look over by special team and that team is maintained by suman who is working in pg.

In this pg there is no space. We need one full almira to keep the things. So we can keep the books and many of things in it. I think this is big problem for everyone in this pg. And rooms are not like this whic we show in it. There is no facility for warm water.
