Ambiance of "Santa's fantasea" is so beautiful with very good behaviour. Taste of food is also good. We tried Octopus and Lobster. Both were fresh and mouth watering. I Must say about the wonderful complimentary tribal style drink. Highly recommended this place.

The ambience is very average. The service is not bad but what makes it a NO is the food. Ordered 4-5 items, nothing stood out. Every item was very average.

Went there to try the famous bamboo biryani.can't say I'm satisfied with their service and hygiene. The service was pretty slow and the staff were not attentive at all.when we arrived, most of the tables were empty, so it's not like they were busy.
Anyways the food was okay like any other restaurant of that budget. I hope they pay more attention to the cleanliness and staff behaviour.i would not visit this branch again in the future.

If you a sea food lover then please visit this restaurant. This is highly recommend restaurant for food lover. Try pomfret fish. Food is also delicious and fresh. Their service is also very good. Affordable price.

The food is really tasty. The menu is vast. Comfortable ambience. Just the prices are way too high.
Regardless of its uniqueness, 420 rupees for 6 pcs chicken is not something which people would pay.
But the location is really nice, there is ample space to park your car for free.
Must try: Soru Chakli with Bamboo Chicken.
Overall a good experience.

Its a very good resturant for family. Banshpora mutton is the starter to look for when you are here.the smoky flavour, smell of burnt wood, just awesome.jhupu pisi mutton and jado rice are some combo! Apart from the much hyped tribal food menu, the seafood menu is also very well spread with squid, octopus, king fish, crab. You name it! All foods are licious and fresh.very well mannered and well advicing staff they have.overall, once you go here once, you will go there again.

Santa's Fantasea Saltlake - a very well known name in the city rather in the state whether you are seafood lover or not.
They have total two outlets in Kolkata as you know- one at Golpark and another one at Saltlake, the one I am posting about.
Saltlake outlet of Santa's Fantasea is located at Sector 1, Saltlake with a very gorgeous interior. Once you step in the outlet, you will a get a tribal vibes with a beautiful blend of sea colours.
From their menu, had tried:
Tom yum soup,
Sanghai squid,
Butter garlic squid,
Honey glazed octopus,
Black bean octopus,
Smoked crab,
Prawn pepper salt,
Nassi goreng rice,
Chinese style rice.
Their variation of hot and sour tom yum soup is not only shrimp, but also with squid and other seafood.
Sanghai squid is well cooked squid with onions and bell pepper saute with hot garlic sauce topped with cashew nuts!
For butter garlic sauce, squid cooked with bell peppers, and mild garlic sauce and beautiful aroma of butter.
Honey glazed octopus is sweet and spicy version of octopus with sweetness of honey, and spiciness of ginger and chilli.
Black bean octopus is highly recommended for if you love black bean sauce, spicy and cooked in soya base.
Smoked crab is something you must try if you love large crabs, every angle of smoked crab will just leave you drool.
Nasi goreng needs no new introduction, flavourful rice topped with sunny side up with two chicken satay and two prawn wafers, full meal for anyone.

This place is suitable for those who like sea food and tribal cuisine. Tried the Salmon and Tuna dishes here which were pretty tasty. Bamboo biriyani was also nice. But if you are visiting this place, the fried ice cream is a must have dessert item. It tastes fantastic. The interior decoration also gives the place a tribal look and is great for the photoholics.

আজ বলবো এক চেনা জায়গার অচেনা এক গল্প।
@fusion fantasea, সল্টলেক সেক্টর 1 এর এক অতিপরিচিত রেস্তোরাঁ। traibal থিমে সুসজ্জিত এই রেস্তোরাঁটিতে অন্যান্য খাবারের পাশাপাশি রয়েছে seafood এর এক অনবদ্য সম্ভার।
আমি আগেও এখানে গিয়েছিলাম।তখন মূলত এনাদের triabl রেসিপি থেকেই কিছু বিখ্যাত পদ চেখে দেখেছিলাম। কিন্তু এবার নিয়েছিলাম বেশ কিছু seafood item.
যদিও আমি seafood প্রেমী নই তথাপি বন্ধুদের আবদারে কিছুটা সাহস করেই নিলাম।
কিন্তু বিশ্বাস করুন না খেলে হয়তো জানতেই পারতাম না কলকাতায় এত ভালো #seafood পাওয়া যায়।
চিংড়ি, কাঁকড়া থেকে শুরু করে স্কুইড, অক্টোপাস, লবস্টার কি নেই সেখানে।
আমরা নিয়েছিলাম
Tom yum soup - এটি মূলত একটি mixed seafood স্যুপ যাতে ছিল ছোটো চিংড়ি, স্কুইড, ডিম ও কিছু সবজি।যদিও স্যুপ জিনিসটা আমার খুব একটা পছন্দ নয় তবে চিংড়ি ও স্কুইড এর টুকরোগুলো বেশ মজাদার লাগলো।
Prawn pepper salt-খেয়ে যা বুঝলাম ভাজা চিংরি গুলোকে গোলমরিচ গুঁড়ো মাখিয়ে বেল পেপার ও স্প্রিং অনিয়ন দিয়ে টস্ করে বানানো।স্টার্টার হিসাবে কিন্তু বেশ ভালো।বিশেষ করে স্যুপ এর সঙ্গে বেশ ভালো যায় এটি।
Sanghai squid - ছোটো ছোটো স্কুইড এর টুকরো গুলোকে হালকা ভেঁজে বিভিন্ন মসলা ও সস মাখিয়ে রান্না করা।এখানে মজার ব্যাপার হলো দেখে বেশ ঝাল ও স্পাইসি মনে হলেও স্বাদ মোটেই তা নয়।বরং বেশ লাইট ও হালকা টক মিষ্টি স্বাদ।
স্টার্টার শেষে এবার পালা #মেন কোর্স এর।
আমরা দুটো আলাদা রাইস এর পদ নিয়েছিল।আর সঙ্গে ছিল কাঁকড়া, স্কুইড ও অক্টোপাস এর কিছু আইটেম।
Nassi goreng rice- এটি হলো মাংসের কিমা ও সবজি দিয়ে বানানো এক বিশেষ ধরনের ফ্রাইড রাইস । এটি আমি অন্য রেস্তোরাঁতেও খেয়েছি আগে। তবে এখনে একটু অন্যরকম এটি। বিশেষ ধরনের সস এর কারণে এর রঙ সাধারণত বাদামি হয়ে থাকে কিন্তু এখনে ভাত এর রং হলুদ। ওনারা সঙ্গে দুটো চিকেন স্যাটে ও ডিমের পোচ দিয়ে সুন্দর ভাবে সাজিয়ে পরিবেশন করেন যা দেখেই মন ভরে যায়। খেতে তো বেশ তবে intaresting ব্যাপার হলো ভাত এর মধ্যে ওই smokey ফ্লেভার ।
পরিমান একজনের জন্য বেশ ভালো।কিন্তু যারা একটু কম খান দুজন ও খেয়ে নিতে পারবেন ।
এটির সঙ্গে আমি খেয়েছিলাম
Black bean octopus - ব্ল্যাক বিন সস দিয়ে রান্না করা baby অক্টোপাস। নরম তুলতুলে মাংসগুলোকে টক ঝাল সস এর সঙ্গে এক অনবদ্য যুগলবন্দি ঘটিয়েছেন ওনারা।সত্যি বলতে অক্টোপাস যে এত সুস্বাদু হতে পারে আমার ধারণাই ছিল না।
Smoked crab- দানবাকৃতি কাঁকড়া গুলিকে সস ও মসলার মিশ্রণে রান্না করা। লেমনগ্রাস ও লেবুপাতা ব্যবহার এর ফলে এটিতে লেবুর গন্ধ বেশ ভালোভাবে মিশে গেছিলো।সব মিলিয়ে ।
এটির সঙ্গে আমরা নিয়েছিলাম
Chinese style rice-খেয়ে যা বুঝলাম এটি হলো ডিম, চিংড়ি ও কাঁকড়ার মাংস দিয়ে রান্না করা ফ্রাইড রাইস।অক্টোপাস বা কাঁকড়ার সঙ্গে বেশ ভাল লেগেছিল।
পরিমান দুজনের জন্য যথেস্ট।

এছাড়াও ছিল

Most authentic sea food restaurant in kolkata.if you are a fan of sea food then this is the best option. One of my favourite restaurant in Kolkata serving fresh crab, octopus, squid, prawn,
They also serve authentic tribal dishes.all food tasted really delicious.
I loved the ambience. Very nicely decorated.

Tribal themed restaurant with dominance of innovative tribal food menu in prawn, fish, mutton, chicken, crab, squid etc. The food quality is good but not excellent.

The overall experience was very nice. The food tastes good. The tribal themed ambience was really nice. The place very neat and clean and maintained. And must try their "Bansa pora mutton", it's taste delicious. Various kind of sea foods also available. All staffs were very helpful and kind.

In recent times I feel the quality and quantity have both been not upto the mark. Ordered Bamboo chicken which was okayish and the noodles had distinct taste of the fish which didn't taste good. Overall the service and staff was polite and very good.

Inside decoration and environment was good.food was costly and not that tasty.basically overhyped foods.waiting period was more than 40min.though staffs were polite and co-operative.
