This lodge is very specious and location is also perfect but the only thing is that is has one washroom for female and one for male (though rooms in third floor have washrooms but everyone cannot have access to it), which is a big problem as it is a place where people from far can also come to attend functions, and if they had to wait in the queue to go to washroom then it's very dissapointing.

Wonderful place, great ambience, staff were polite and extremely helpful, food was also delicious.

The most luxurious Hotel at Bethuadahari. Those who are visiting the place for the Bethuadahari forest can stay here.

Sarkar Lodge is a budget hotel located in Bethuadahari, West Bengal. It is situated in the heart of the city and offers comfortable accommodation at an affordable price. The hotel has a total of 10 rooms, all of which are air-conditioned and equipped with modern amenities. The hotel also offers a restaurant, a bar, and a conference hall. Guests can enjoy a variety of local and international cuisines at the restaurant. The hotel also provides free Wi-fi.
Service good and all over is good.

A very good place for dine in, with old Bengali traditional crokeries, and flavour. Loved a lot.

Don't go there. Their restaurant is very bad. I visited there and they serve beef instead of Mutton. My friend's family booked their for their ocation and same thing they did to save the cost.provide beef instead of mutton.

The Rooms are neat and tidy and the property is well equipped. However, the facade falls through if you stay for a bit.

The service and food are lacklustre at their best. There is no provision of breakfast and only dining at their attached restaurant Alapan assures availability of food with high order times. You'll get no food between 10pm and 12 noon and their checkout time is "conveniently" set at 10am ensuring you leave without food 12 hours after having your last meal.

The staff is supremely uncooperative and hesitant in providing even the advertised amenities. Requests for WiFi password and clean bedsheets were refused repeatedly. Breakfast was pompously refused by the manager at the reception, ironically while standing in front of the printed guidelines explicitly reading "Breakfast will be available from 8am to 9am"

Unless you are unable to find other places to board, kindly avoid this hotel.

We had our lunch at Alapan Restaurant. Ambience is nice. Food is good but stuffs are not well trained.

We only went there for lunch so I can't comment on the rooms or overnight stays there.
However the ballroom on the first floor is extremely elegant and the food is excellent too.
Our only complaint was that the meal service was slightly slow.
The waiters are always ready to help and we liked that fact a lot.
I would like to recommend the thalis if you are looking to eat lunch or dinner there.
However if you are in a hurry the vegetarian pizza or naan and curry (both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are equally delicious) might be a better option.

There are good restaurants to go to in the morning. Good food where good food is available. Good time can be spent with friends.

Good quality foods and amazing ambiance. You must visit this place once.
I found one drawback, the washroom is not quite clean and you have to go ground floor for it.

It's a marriage hal with 7 huge rooms. Low on hygiene. No provision for tea or breakfast. They don't deserve which is a major drawback. Linen is very old and towels had lipstick marks on them

Amazing place. All staffs are very good. Friendly behaviour. Food quality is too good. I suggest everyone please go and feel the atmosphere & enjoy the food.

If you are looking for a 5 start hotel at Bethuadahari, then this one will make you experienced with that. Get refreshed, relaxed and memorized with them.

সরকার লজের খাবারের থালা কালো রংয়ের, এটা মোটেও হাইজিনিক নয়, চুল বা অন্য কোন নোংরা থাকলে বোঝার উপায় নেই । পৃথিবীতে আর কোথাও কালো থালা দেখা যায় না । সাদা থালা ব‍্যবহার করা উচিৎ । রানা মোটামুটি ভাল ই । হোটেল বয়েরা ভীষণ অনভিজ্ঞ, তবে ভালো ।

The ambiance are really good. Staffs are all cool minded and behave well.
The foods are good too! I was never expecting this kind of place here! It was an amazing experience. Keep it up guys!

Pros:
The lodge is beautiful. Rooms are beautiful. Owner is good. Rooms are clean.

Cons:
Staffs are rude. Asked suddenly to pay all the money during the event but earlier the owner told to pay before the checkout.
Toilets did not have soap or towel.
No lift.
Staffs did not allow to decorate hall with cellow tape pasting.

Overall a moderate choice at a place like Bethuadahari.

Our exp is very bad. The air condition was not working and management is ignorant requires training.
