Scrapyard brewery is a rooftop brewery on the 10th floor of the building and provides finest quality self produced chilled beers in different flavors. You can enjoy hukka with different flavor. Cocktail is also available. Food quality is awesome. Enjoy in evening with excellent view surrounding the kolkatta main city specially viewing the 42 tower and other skybuilding.
One of the oldest nightclubs / Brewery around the block, it has both a nightclub and a rooftop cafe. Friday and Saturday nights are crowded up to the brim with barely any walking space. The atmosphere it offers is that of a proper nightclub and if that's not your cup of tea there is a cafe as well.
Least likely to thrive as a microbrewery. The waiters don't know anything about types of beers. I ordered a stout, they brought a light wheat beer. Also, service is extremely unprofessional, had to order 3 times to get an order and even then the order was not right. We left after canceling a meal we had ordered. As a microbrewery you would expect the best selection of beer. Beer was completely average. Better to drink a Tuborg than here. Neither coming back, nor recommending to others. Totally disappointed.
Scrapyard: ONÊ ÔF THE FÎNE$T RÓÒFTOP & MÎCRØBRËWËRY IN TOWN. Exâcty oppósite to Nizam palace, Camac street. [ During this PUJA they are having time limitation of 2 hours per customer to avoid unnecessary crowding] Ambience is phenomenal, situated on the 10th floor at Usha Kiran building. Classy interiors with comfortable sitting arrangements. Spacious interiors. Indoor as well as rooftop sitting arrangements available. The quality is as good as you would expect. The quantity is enough to be shared by two heads. Overall 10/10 experience
Most BOGUS experience. We haven’t got the rooftop part, the pub management told us that it was engaged by private party. Extremely stinky place, waiters weren't wearing mask. Food quality ok but quantity is spoonful. They charge exorbitantly! Tequila was just a fiasco. Simple water was served.
The ambience was nice. So was the hospitality. The food was good as well. Yet what spoiled the entire mood was the behaviour of the manager (?) named Amit. We were not informed while entry that each group had a time limit of 2 hrs. There were 7 of us and it obviously took us more than 2 hours to finish our plates off. We were bluntly asked to leave or pay a cover charge of ₹2000/ head. No written/verbal mention of this was provided to us before hand.
It was really an amazing experience. It's on of the best cafe in town in terms of rooftop cafe. It sure has a big rooftop area, with a covered and open rooftop. Talking about hygiene and covid curriculums, the staff management were good at those stuffs which is a necessity now. Quality of food is good and they have got tons of items to choose. We celebrated a birthday, and surely we were accompanied by good and friendly staffs. So 5 star for service, no doubt. And compared to all other rooftop cafe's, if you have got a big group, it is cheap and affordable, plus you get and an awesome view from a height of 10th storey building. Thank you?
Obviously this is one of the best pubs I have visited in kolkata. Great ambience, good food and staffs were really kind to us especially SHAGUFTA ma'am.
We went here to celebrate a friend's birthday here. Everything was great except the pizza, it was really disappointing, it was just a biscuit crust, topped with cheese and a few chunks of chicken, not at all worth the price The Victorian Beer was amazing. It didn't taste bad. The second floor is what you should go to, as its open air.
Very nice experience.staffs are really great.especially SHAGUFTA maam even in the crowd she managed to arrange a table in the rooftop.overall food ambience service everything was great and the prices are also reasonable.five star for staffs behaviour! A nice place to hangout with friends and loved one's!
Great place to spend an evening with friends if you don't party attention to detail. Seatings are very cramped both indoor and outdoor. Dance floor not operational due to Govt regulations. Menu has limited items.
This place is phenomenal Beautiful ambience, soft music and delicious food It has two levels, a pub / disc for all the party goers, rooftop section for the quiet crowd and a fine dining area We ordered cranberry juice, chicken pesto pizza and grilled peri peri chicken with vegetables Food was tasty, but it is a bit costly Overall, we had a wonderful experience Do visit it once:)
Liked it, didn't love it Food is on their plus side Ambience is not something I personally like However, this may be a good choice for people who prefer to yell across the table just to comply to the conversation with your friends. Peace
We visited on 10th Aug21, around 3: 30 pm with no reservations. We were told to sit at the floor section. We asked for the rooftop, and were denied stating they don't allow people before 5pm at rooftop. So, we sat in the floor section. Fortunately I went to the rooftop after 5 mins, and people were already sitting there. Agreed, the outdoor seating was not possible because it was about to rain, but indoor was available.
I came downstairs and said there were empty seats at rooftop to accommodate us. Now, they said those are reserved. I told them then that made us no choice but leave. That stirred the lady at the reception and asked us to wait and finally we got a pretty cozy place at the rooftop.
The view is too elegant. Plus the rooftop is quieter and relaxing than the floor section. The floor section was having live performance which was pretty good and grooving.
One mistake I did was thought of having lunch here. You don't get much lunch cuisines here. Portion against price is less. Place is good for spending time, having their crafted beer, cocktails, live music, sheesha. Don't go for lunch or heavy food, it will just impact your pocket, not fulfilling your belly.
We ordered Sex on the beach Beer boiler Tandoori prawn Maharaja platter Apple sparkle Pesto chicken pizza
My suggestion is not to go for prawn or pizza. Regular chicken platter or any veg, non-veg is platter is fine.
Staff are really good and amicable. They accepted payment through Zomato pro. However, I paid tip on Zomato pro, but the staff was saying they don't get that tip from the Zomato and was asking to be tipped separately.
The building is hard to locate. Opposite of Nizam palace, after crossing the HP gas station, through a parking lane.
The food option are not that great and sitting arrangement could be better. Drinks are amazing and ambience is very nice. The staff is well behaved and friendly
Good place for brewed beer, they have 5-6 varieties. Taste is good. Food taste is also good. Hookah available. Micro brewery so no bottled beer available. Place has indoor n outdoor sitting with good ambience and quick service.
The ambience is quite good and staffs are too polite and professional. Music is little bit of loud if you come here to chitchat or gossip trust me it's the place you searching for
Absolutely love the beers specially the Belgian wit kudos for that, however the chicken momos and Afghani Kebabs were over cooked and dry. The ambience of the place is great.
Bad staff.good beer though. Inspite of tables being available they did not give us one at rooftop, who knows who the staff was waiting for.the tables remained empty! This is what happens when you let employees (who don't care) run the place. Revenue lost for the organisation, but the employees still get thr salary.so do they care! Monkey Bar's better.much better!
