From authentic Italian Cuisine to attractive ambiance experiance was good. Restaurant located at the prime location of Quest Mall. Provides a remarkable day with their A taste to remember. Ordered Alla Norcina5/5 Serafina Campari (along with Gin) 5/5 Will definetly come here again?
From the warm ambiance to the delectable dishes, every aspect of this restaurant exceeded my expectations. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. The attentive staff added a personal touch, making our visit truly memorable. Will definitely be returning soon!
We visited Serafina today for lunch in search of authentic Italian food and we weren't disappointed. We ordered a Ricotta and Spinach stuffed Ravioli to start with. The pasta, the filling and the sauce were all very well balanced and delicious. Next we called for a Spaghetti Carbonara. I was worried I would be stuck with pasta in a mess of white bechamel sauce as is the norm in the city but was pleasantly surprised and relieved by the egg yolk-cream-parmesan liaison the spaghetti was tossed in along with flavourful bacon bits. This was followed by the Pepperoni Pizza which was perfect in terms of the thin base, the quality of meat as well as the seasoning of the marinara. Simply beautiful. And finally we ordered for a Spaghetti Bolognese. This was great too but i felt this was the weakest link in our meal. The meat ragout could have had more texture for sure. The only reason for not giving this place five stars is that I felt the price in comparison to their portion sizes were quite disproportionate. A portion of pasta that costs Rs 1200+ is barely enough for even one person. I also felt the wait time for the food was pretty long considering we were the only other table seated at the time and the bread basket offered to us while we waited contained 4 tiny bread rolls for the four of us. I observed through the afternoon that the same number was given to all tables that came, whether they were 4 people or 1 person. Overall I felt the food here was authentic, delicious and the ingredients sourced were uncompromised. However it failed to feel value for money despite its fantastic food due to its portion sizes and lack of few touches. I would however recommend going here for the food for sure when you are feeling particularly generous.
Satisfy your cravings for italian food with the richness and freshness that Serafina offers in their food. Ravioli Al Tartofu Nero is must try! Fruit smash drink was refreshing.
The proportion of 'gin' in the drink was less. On complaint, the matter was looked into. The music was a bit loud. As a result, friends had difficulty listening to one another. Had a good experience overall. Thank you
Terrible service, the staff doesn't understand anything at all. The restaurant has become very substandard in style and service. Even the furniture seems to be extremely old. There has to be some staff that can understand English
WORST food honestly. Wayy too much salt in the spaghetti. Kinda disappointing. Waited for almost 45 minutes for the food. Expected alot. How unfortunate
We have been frequent visitors to Serafina - but, the service was very poor today - long wait times. I would avoid the pasta dishes - excessive amounts of white/ (not authentic) pesto sauces. The beer was nice and chilled though. They still add the (discretionary) service charge, which, after service like this, one is not disposed to pay. Overall, unexpectedly disappointing.
Taste is good. Service was good. Prices are bit on the higher side. Though considering it is located in one of the posh malls of Kolkata may be it is justified.
The carbonara was great so was the bruschetta. Never have fillet mignon here. You need a saw to cut it. Also, the Tiramisu does not have Marsala or 3ven Kahlua flavoring. A bit soggy and bland. Overpriced for the quality. Wouldn't recommend.
The best Italian pizza you could have.albeit for a loftier price but totally totally worth it. And no matter what you eat, always end it with their tiramisu. The best Tiramisu I have had here, making tira-miss it. The fire wood installed kitchen, the ambiance and the service - all nice!
The food is not at par with expectations. The service was extremely slow. Only saving grace was the lighting and ambiance. Out of most of the restaurants present in the mall, it is still a safe bet.
Awesome. Must try the prosciutto dish here with Italian variations of Redwine or liquor. I took scotch. I also took pork dish both of them are cooked well in Italian stile.
Top notch food. The service was very prompt. Did not disappoint at all. A good experience all over. The dessert was one of the best! Absolute icing on the cake
Decent fish. Terrible filet mignon. Wrongly cut, red inside. Had to return. Went there for the filet mignon, disappointed. That even looked unappealing. That was even the last piece as they told us. I've had some pretty great time here, and the last visit was so disappointing. I've had the best filet mignon in kolkata here, pre pandemic. Hope it regains it's glory.
Wish the restaurant had walls that allowed the guests inside to enjoy a quiet meal in private rather than being compelled to endure the chatter from passersby in the common passageway.
This restaurant is situated in Quest mall, just opposite to Yautcha. Serves typically Italian cuisine. The thin crust pizza is the best I have had in Kolkata. The ambience and decor is very classy. Prices are on the higher side but the portions are huge. I just wish they had regular priced mineral water, the option they have costs 350+ taxes.
Worst dining experience I've had for a long time. The service was terrible, we had to wait 1 hour for a plate of grilled vegetables after repeated complaints. The presentation of the food was atrocious and the food looked dead. The pizzas seemed like a stale pizza had been reheated. Terribly terribly overpriced for the quality of food and service. Please save your money, there are much better Italian options in town.
