Good restaurant in this locality. The atmosphere is very good and the service is also very good. The sitting arrangements are very good. Ambiance is good.

The food quality is good and the taste of the foods are also very good. The staff behaviour is very good, polite and decent. They are very helpful and behave in a friendly manner. The hospitality is good.

The place of the foods are not too high. They serve us delicious foods with reasonable price. My experience is very good here.

I went to Chandannagar and left one afternoon after hearing the name of Shalimar Hotel from the mouth of the locals. I went again at night because of the food, ambience and hospitality Back again with an amazingly delicious experience.

Food is not at all good but the ambience is good. The restaurant is very beautiful but the management is not at all working on enhancing the quality of food.

Horrible food quality and pathetic service. Only good thing is strong AC. Not worth a single star. Sorry.will never visit again.

Well decorated ambience with a vintage style interior gives a comfortable vibes.
Staffs are very cooperative & well mannered.
Apart from the main floor there are nice little cabins to spend time with your loved one in less noise. There are no extra charges for that. Normal dishes price are applicable.
In our first visit, didn't find any issues in food quality and quantity. We've ordered Naan, Tandoori roti, Butter chicken masala alongwith a cold drink.

Washroom maintanence could've been better, but it's okay. Overall you can neglect this fact.

Location: Take an auto / toto from Chandrangar station to Court more. Otherwise you can take an auto / toto directly for Chandrangar Stand. It's just a few steps before the Chandranagar stand.

The plan was to have dinner but the starter and the mocktails were horrible that we did not order anything else. Most of the items were not there and we never had a salty Virgin Mojito and Blue Lagoon. We had only BBQ chicken (that too we did not enjoy). One point I would like to mention is the staffs are really good and that's the only good point of this place.

The food was good and the service was all very nice. The behaviour of the staff was warm as well. Good work.

Went from Kolkata and was looking for a place for lunch when we came accross this restaurent. The place is decent, but too many tables were placed which made movement a little difficult. The polao and chicken kasha was bland in taste. The kasha was more like dopyaza. The kebab was a bit extra salty. Last but not the least not all but few service guys attitude could have been improved. Not visiting the next time. Cheers

Shalimar Hotel and Restaurant is one of the oldest and best restaurant of Chandannagar. It's situated in a prime location. The dine in area is neat and clean and what is more impressive is the portraits on the wall with sketches and excerpt from Abol-Tabol of Sukumar Roy.
It caters a wide variety of foods like indian Chinese continental etc.
Rate is ok and taste is superb.
Wish to visit again.

We Ordered Biriyani For 6 Person, Biriyani Taste Wasn't Bad, But Not too Good, Compare to Pricing Of Another Restaurant Like This! High Pricing Of Every Food Item Compare to Restaurant Decoration, Small Dinning, But Stuff Behaviour is Very Good.

I personally went to this restaurant with my friends. And the food quality as well as quantity both were amazing, very good and I am very happy with it. Finally the room was very nice. And it is unique ️ I loved their decoration like how they decorated the room. I recommend everyone to come here

This place is one of the most beautiful place in this area. The ambience is quite and nice. My 2nd visit here and the experience has too good. I have celebrate two important days in my life here. This inside and outside decorations is too good. I love their decorations. Staffs are very cooperative and helpful. And the food is awesome.it's very testy and reasonable price range. Please try it egg fried rice, korai chicken, ponir tikka, bamboo Biriani. My experience too good? I personally suggested must be try it

From infrastructure, food to services everything is amazingly beautiful and the staffs also treats very politely a good place to make a great time with loved ones

My second visit here and the experience has changed. Wasn't quite satisfied with the service a year ago but things have changed now. The staff is very responsive, polite and cheerful! The food was good, to be specific the tandoori chicken was great!

I have been in this restaurant for a quite a few times now, and could tell u guys that it's one of the best restaurants for family gatherings, dinner dates etc. Food tastes really good. Altogether I had a very nice experience you should visit this restaurant as well if you want tasty food, good ambience, well behaved staffs all in one package that too at a very resonable price point.

Restaurent serve very poor and cheap food, i was order Two Plate Chicken Biryani, and i was found in biryani Cockroches wing and leg in biryani even i was eat them i goes sick

It is very nice experience to visit here. Excellent ambience created with Sukumar Ray - Old Chandannagar - and quality Bengali songs. Foods were just delicious, specially Chicken Duck Bunglow and Garlic Prawn. Behaviour of staffs were nice.
I would appreciate if they could arrange to add some authentic Bengali cuisine dishes to their menu, and fill their walls with Bengal's art and Heritage.

Worst food quality. I ordered Mutton DakBungalow and the quality of the dish is abysmal.
