Vegetables, fish Rate are very high compared to other market like talpukur, even there is a disparity in their weighing machine. I have been buying here for many years, earlier the market seems to be more genuine in term of rate and weight but now things seems to be not right.

Shanti bazar is excellent for low cost materials, almost everything is available starting from books to clothes, utensils.

It's a great place to find anything you need clothes, stationary, groceries, this area also had the registration office and now the sub division court, and nearby shanti bazar area you can find every kind of help and anything you need

A little conjested area in barrackpore where you can find almost anything from clothes to household items. But during festive seasons the road in between becomes too much jam packed that no bike or car can cross the road easily

This is an old municipal market on the prime location of Barrackpore "Chiriamore". Many hut type shops are there for verious items of dress, kitchen, households, schools etc. Now a days during online shopping all small business are not running well and here is also the same problem facing by the shopkeepers. This market is in ground floor (only one floor) and wheelchair accessible.
