Sher Bengal Restaurant

It's a good restaurant for lunch or dinner options, didn't find many snacks. The fish cutlets are phenomenal, very crispy very thick loved them. The quantity of the main dishes are quite a lot as well, you can easily share one rice or noodles between two adults. The chicken achari tikka was lovely as well.

Today we are visited there, but one staff behaviour is like owner and his behaviour too rough and slang using with customer.

Please don't go in this puja time.because normal menu card is not there which they used to give us on other days and in that menu card prize increased for 30-50 rs for every item also tandoori roti, rumali roti or rice & jira rice (basic items) are not there. Also they are very late (that is fine) and food quality is below avarage.in this puja time.i used to eat in this restaurant quarterly also in puja time from last 3 years but never seen this.this is really bad.

Good place for dining. I always visit while traveling towards Digha or Contai. Just after crossing Kolaghat, you will find this family restaurant. This restaurant has also separate a/c restaurant Foods are in standard quality. Overall, it was very satisfactory.

Very disappointed in food, service. We order chili chicken, chicken korma, it's very disgusting and we didn't eat the whole things! At last we talk with manager, he hear all our problems and he didn't talk any words, then he send a waiter and he thoroughly argu with us and told us "here we made this type of foods! " At the end I said that I shouldn't recommend the restaurant with any of my family, friends even any strenger.

I would give 4 out of 5 for Nuns and most of the North Indian non veg dishes but for the chicken biryani, I would say your local biryani seller provides far better quality than this sh1t.

Ambience is nice.
Facilities are good.
Service staff polite.
Food was sumptuous.

What they have in the menu card and what they serve in terms of availability should improve.
