I have been to Shiraz manier times previously but this I somehow felt that the quality has decreased a bit somehow. Expected better food

It's egg chicken rolls are good. Ample quantity of quantity, tender and juicy and well cooked. The Paratha is well prepared. Price is ok. Overall value for money

Indisciplined Staff, bad quality food, rough n cheap behaviour too!

Two of us ordered mutton birIyani, due to GOAT hair changed the plate twice still hair found. After that informed staff, they behaved so badly.also food was so bad against the price. We left half the food and got out! SO UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR BY THE MANAGER SHAME SHAME!

Food was ok not wow compare to price.
All food listed on the menu was not available when i visit. Sitting arrangment is good.

Food quality is worst. Street food centres around the Ajay Nagar area are too good than Siraj. Food quality is non std compare to price and other same category type restaurant. I am suggesting to have food from different places rather than Siraj.

Biriyani was good. But one of the mutton pieces was not upto the mark as it was little smell of goat. Little bit disappointed.

The food had too much of Dalda and hence was greasy. The chicken pieces were small. The experience overall was not very pleasant. The quality of food has deteriorated.

Shiraz food taste is delicious and less spicy. I enjoy the food very much. Stuffs are also very polite.

The quality of food was ok. However it had average customer service. I had to wait more than 20 mins for a single chicken roll. Next time will opt.for delivery.

(এখানে পাশাপাশি অনেকগুলি খাবারের দোকান আছে।
দোতালা দোকান নিজে নন এসি। এবং উপরের টা শীতাতপনিয়ন্ত্রিত।
খাবারের মান ভালো। দাম অনুযায়ী খাবারের পরিমান ঠিক আছে।
তবে খাবার জল এর ব্যবস্থা ভালো নয়।
টয়লেট আছে, তবে খুব পরিষ্কার নয়।
স্টাফ দের ব্যবহার মোটামুটি।
পরিবেশ এবং পরিচ্ছন্নতায় আরো নজর দেওয়া উচিৎ।

Shiraz is one of the Best branded restaurants in Kolkata offering Biryani, Kababs and Indian & Chinese food as well. But it is mainly famous for Kababs and Biryani. Also, their recipe of fast food like Rolls are famous. The air conditioned dine in facility at Ajoynagar is quite clean and good. Previously, there used to be a small air conditioned dine in on the first floor, but now the entire restaurant including the ground floor and reception is air conditioned. Again, if you're a Biryani or Kabab lover, you must visit and give it a try:)

Tasting Shiraz after long time. Same colour and texture. Aroma of the biriyani decreased compared to last time. Once upon a time the shiraz biriyani was famous for its awesome taste, Aroma, quantity and size of chicken.
But this time the Biriyani chicken was small. Quality is good, quantity is okay but not sufficient.
Restaurant is crowded but not very crowded.
If I compare with Dada Boudi's or home made its quality has decreased but not drastically.
It should improve.
Others foods are good. Service is good and fast.

On the way to meet someone, we stopped by to buy some rolls. They have a variety of them on the menu, but didnt have one of which we wanted: (

Average restaurant, shiraz's biriyani and chicken chaap quality is reducing day by day. Quality of Chinese food is very bad, simple dish like fried rice and chiken was horrible. I think they have to take more care about their food quality.

I will say it's one of the worst restaurant both in terms of service and food. I had gone for dinner on 29th August.

When I had ordered my food I had to wait more 45 minutes to get my food on the table. When I asked them the reason for such late service they informed me that they have many online orders which they need to fulfill at first.

Now regarding the food I had ordered. I had ordered for a mutton dish and keema and garlic naan. The mutton dish was completely saltless with just oil in the name of greavy. The naan was average in terms of taste but was still too oily.

Take out service is very fast.just got my order of 3 items within 6 minutes.behaviour is very polite and very hygienic and well maintained restaurant.price is ok with the quality.

Previously it was a great place to experience mughlai cousins. But my recent visit was not at all good in terms of fooding

Biriyani is very light in flavour and quantity wise is okay. The mutton pieces in the special mutton biriyani are good too, but the mutton pasanda was a disappointment.
The pasanda had way more bones in it.

Just pathetic. We ordered for chicken chap. Oh my God. They served what seemed to be anything but chicken. Taste was awful. Only oil. Felt completely cheated. So shameful from Shiraz.

Horrible taste in food, chefs take twice the time to cook the food also the behaviour of staff is worser than foot stalls.

Food was good, ambience is nice. (if u want very spicy item then only order chilli chicken here)

Good service but the delivery for the order was a little bit late, they were maintaining proper hygiene and wore a mask with proper application sanitizer.

Poor food quality. Biriyani was so expensive but they didnot gave good chicken pieces in biriyani. Chicken pieces are looking like some bird mass. 290 per chicken biriyani plate but i m extremely disappointed with their food quality.

Outrightly horrible had 2 chicken biriyani and salad for 675. Tasteless, with hair and a skinny chicken leg with next to no meat. It makes me sad old shiraj is no more.

Absolutely rubbish food with extortionate price price. The kebabs we received were 5 and half piece for each plate. And the size for all the kebabs were exceptionally small. I will never ever recommend to anyone. Shiraz in Mullick Bazar was one of my favourite places. But if this is the standard of Shiraz now then it's very unfortunate. I don't mind paying but would need value for money.

Worst food ever. Siraz biriyani is a big hype right now but quality completely degraded. No taste at all. Even roll also worst.

Extremely poor service quality. They remain busy for attending Swiggy & Zomato orders and end up with very poor service to customers.

Mutton Biriyani was excellent. Tandoori roti was okay. Chicken Rashmi butter Masala was good but Its too much sweet

Good restaurant at hill cart road, Siliguri which has wide options of vegetarian and non vegetarian food, good portion, good service and fast service. They have awesome lassi too. Overall good, value for money. Must visit. Highly recommended.

Very good food for every one. Nice place to go with friends. You can go with with your family also. Not so cosy place. Very nice place it is. Every one like this place. Price of food is not so high.



If you are food lover then try best. But if you want just for any occasion then i would say u can go Shiraz. Many item which is in Menu, those are not availble when u ask for. But test of items is regular not bad.

Food price too much high comparing quality and quantity.salad also not include in this price. So that u can spend your money some other restaurants with better experience.

I visited quite a few times here for dinner. Food quality is quite fantastic. Price a bit above moderate. Staff's behaviour is okay. I have tasted few items here, but biriyani was best among all those.

Found 1 iron wire in Chicken Biriyani ordered on 27.10.19. Could had got struck in my throat, if I had not seen it!

The food is good but the customer service is really bad. I didn't like the way the waiters talked to us.

Food is tasty and prices are same as other nice AC restaurant however management need to focus on interior as it is very old and need maintenance.if we are spending good amount of money then expectation is that food along with ambience should also be good.
