Beautiful place, the swimming area is accessible only to the people who are staying there but overall good place for a one day trip as well

It was decent. Resort is beautiful and well planned. But service and food requires improvement.

My husband and I have had a most satisfying, comfortable and memorable stay here at Sinclairs Retreat, Chalsa, where we keep coming back. This is the fifth time upwards. The atmosphere of the retreat is salubrious, peaceful and beautiful with its lush vegetation, wide lawns and sprawlling hutments. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with balconies overlooking the mango treeline with birds and butterflies, a haven for nature lovers. A well-stocked library has a wide selection.
The hospitality of all the employees from manning the desk to its cook are ready to please. Among the staff I would like to make special mention of Mr. Sanjay, the hotel manager,
Mr. Ganguly in the management, Mr. Topo and Mr. Arnabh at the front desk, for their constant and special care. The dining room attendants
Ms. Anushila and Ms. Shiba Sarkar gave very attentive service. I would like to make a special mention of the head chef Mr. Pintoo Chatterjee for his care and skill. The cuisine is par excellence. The housekeeping staff headed by Mr. Suraj were always diligent and polite. All in all, a vacation where you are made to feel special.

5 stars aren’t enough for this retreat. It is a green paradise where you can relax, enjoy, eat, make merry, swim and have a wonderful time with your company. Kid-family-couple friendly. You name it, they have it. The service is amazing, the staff is ever smiling and ever ready to make you comfortable and give you all the luxury possible. We had an awesome experience with our family. Highly recommended for any kind of vacation.

The operations of Sinclair’s Chalsa is run by a group of highly customer centric people. Their services are fantastic; very well behaved & nicely mannered at all times. Their cordial nature can be experienced right from the reception desk through the restaurant service and all other guest services. I mean all and everybody. A special shout-out for Mr. Toppo who especially extended all his cooperation with us.

The location is in the middle of nature and is extremely clean. The property is very well maintained and all the facilities are brilliant.

We enjoyed and loved our stay here will surely return in the future.

Sinclairs Retreat Resort, Chalsa West Bengal is a highly recommended place for corporate meetings, honeymoons, pre wedding shooting, peaceful and nature lovers. Must stay here for mental peace and family leisure.

What stands out for me wrt my stay at Sinclairs is the service. All the staff were very helpful. Special mention for Seema Sarkar who really was brilliant managing the restaurant and ensuring that we get the best service.
Rooms are good and the resort is also beautiful and well maintained. Perfect if you want to spend a quiet time and there are enough activities to keep you or your children busy. There's also a small toy train for kids.
If you have to nitpick and suggest improvements, an AC in the table tennis area would be a great addition. Also if there could be some drawers in the room that will be great too

Very beautiful location & with 360 degree views, very good hospitality, host of amusementespeciallyfor kids. It was an amazing experience.

We felt misguided

Went there with my family for lunch on a Sunday.the food was stale, cold and bad.these scammers were charging Rs. 1150 per head for cold food.even their soup was cold.whoever is managing this place.stop scamming people.

Didn't meet my expectation.room service very slow.when we checked in, the made beds had human hair on the pillows and beds.manager Mr Arnab was rude.

Waste of money and time….

Good property in Dooars from Sinclairs. It’s “The Palm Terrace” restaurant is the 24 hour coffee shop which serves good food all day long

The food quality was not good at all a waste of money. The ambience and service was only good.

Visited just for lunch, food was average, compared to the price. Rather food was over priced. Took a quick room tour, the prices were over expensive compared to the standard of the rooms. Basic standard cottages were 8000+GST.

Great place to just relax & chill, away from the hustle bustle of city. The staff is amazing & helpful

One of the best properties to be at while on vacation or for corporate meet.
But please mind the room service! Bit pathetic
