A visit to this shopping mall will enthral to state the least. Plenty of major brand shops for apparel, shoes, fashion accessories etc, food court, and Spencer's in the basement. At the time of our visit a Taiwan function was going on with live music. Reaching this mall is no problem as it is well connected via various modalities of transport.

It is one of the greatest and big malls in kolkatta City. I enjoy watching movies at Inox here on the second floor. You can shop here, and almost all brand equity is available here. Two big collections houses are also available one of them is Shoppers Stop and secondbis Panatoons.

The mall is amazing with attractive ambience, and different food stalls in food court. It has also lavish dine in facility like Riyasat, Barish, Lords of the drink.

All in one- shopping, eating, window shopping etc.everything in one place! Also very near to my house! Very nice ambience and also it is decorated for all occasions!

Floors were a bit confusing as there were no store maps. Need to add in signs for exits and washrooms.

Good shopping mall but no pure vegetarian outlet available. Most of the brand's are there except Westside. Flame & Grille is the most authentic charcoal flame restaurant, Shoppers stop has one of the best outlets in Kolkata.

One of my favorite places in town. Perfect for weekend hangout. One of the major attractions in South Kolkata this is one of the biggest malls with the maximum number of branded outlets. From Sephora to Body Shop, from shoppers Stop to Pantaloons, from Fossils to Chumbak you have them all.

Probably the best mall in Kolkata with steep competition from quest mall. Parking is a bit expensive Rs 30 per hour for car and bike is Rs 25/hr. Both budget and luxury brands are available.

I went to South City with my friend. I went there to watch a movie in Inox. The movie was really good and we both liked it. After watching the movie we were roaming inside the mall as the mall is really beautiful. We clicked a couple of selfies and we had some food. The overall experience was really good.

Now a days South City shopping mall has become the heart of Kolkata for its appropriate location, facilities and luxary shopping experience.
From basic shopping places like Pantaloons, Shoppers Stop to dream brands like Zara, Sehpora, Forever 21 are also here.

It is a very famous shopping Mall in the all over kolkata city. It's a very nice and big mall for shopping and also for food lovers. Here many type of food available.

South City Mall is the best Mall in Kolkata. Even better than quest Mall because it has a wide variety of branded stores and the ones which are affordable not too expensive like Burberry. The place is a standard on e not too high standard one but pretty well. The food court has not started fully but start shortly. I am sure the food will also be of great quality.

The mall has now been renovated. The terrace in which cars were parked earlier, now have become food court. Many bands for clothes and for foods have outlets here.

Mall is big, very clean which is important to me. Good place to watch movie in high quality. Proper 3D view in theatres. Bit expensive. Not really for middle class section.

I am really in love with the brands it has now after renovation. Brands like zara will make city people more stylish. Great environment, good food, good movies and good shopping experience every time I have experience. Specially the easy car parking is very helpful to park your car near your shopping area. For my opinion it has the best parking among other kolkata shopping malls.

The first time I visited this mall was in 2006 along with my friend when we were in school. That was my first hangout with friends. Now I cherish those memories.

All brands under one roof. Comfortable and easy traversing inside with escalators strategically placed. Convenient to amble around and shop. Food Court getting developed but Chilis KFC and Pizza Hut there. Mainland China too perhaps.

Great Place. Was Closed After The Fire In Food Court But Now Is Operational In Full Force. Got New Brands New Look New And the Largest (They used the whole roof parking as a floor!) Food Court Which is opening with kfc pizza hut vango wow momo and more joints. Good Place For Shopping Time-Pass Meeting groups alone couple. Prizes range from cheap to expensive (cheapest being Big Bazzar and expensive Zara to me.) It got Shoppers Stop Pantaloons Starmark Whills Etc shops. Starbucks, CCD, Cafe Mezunna Mainland China Flame&Grill and rest too. Plus a giant Inox for Movies. Overally Must to visit if you come to Kolkata For a Trip and a week end enjoyment for the citizens.

I wish there was an option for negative rating. South city mall Kolkata doesn't deserve a single star for their disrespectful behavior towards a new mom.
1. They don't have a breastfeeding room, and the new mom was instructed to feed her baby in the washroom. I mean do you ever have your meal in the washroom?
2. Their social media page instead of apologising for their act, turns the heat towards the mom, saying breastfeeding to be a chore to be completed at home, and the baby can't be fed anywhere! How utterly illiterate and unconsiderate can one be? Remember you are thriving on people's money. Your online reputation went for a toss by this comment, and you have fallen in the eyes of millions of mothers across the planet. Even though you delete the comment with a relatively polite one, the damage is already done. Educate your staff, and teach then to respect people and above all women. Because the day women stop shopping from you, South City mall will be nothing but a mere construction.

The staff is hopeless and are so insensitive to a breastfeeding mother. When asked for a baby care room one of my friend was asked to feed in a toilet. I just want to ask the staff would they go eat in toilet? Then how can they ask a mother to feed her baby in toilet. And on top of that she was asked to finish her chores at home. Breastfeeding is a household chores? In which world are you in? Have some brains and then may be more ppl might visit the mall.

This huge mall doesn't have a tiny room for baby care. Recently a staff asked a woman to feed the baby toilet. They disregarded such an important task of feeding a baby as ''household chores'. I advise new parents to not visit the mall.

A baby was not allowed to feed here and breastfeeding was called a 'household chore'. Really, any activity performed by women cannot fall under household chore. This is plain sexist and denying a proper baby care room is insensitive and inhumane.

Horrible staff and place. Shut down all food courts, pubs and restaurants if any in your mall. Because as per you if little human babies can't be breastfed which is the only food source for babies, no human should be eating or drinking food in public. Learnt that they don't have any room exclusively for breast feeding. When someone tried to fed her lo in open, you guys asked to do so in toilet! Seriously guys! Would you eat food in toilet? Largest mall in Kolkata as far as I know, it's fully air-conditioned. You can find all sorts of things here to buy. It also has INOX where you can watch the latest movies.

Unless you close down the eateries in your mall, you have no business to say that a mother should finish her "chores" at home. Adults can eat at the eateries in your mall, but a baby should either remain hungry, or the mother should not come out. What sort of a warped logic is this? Absolutely ridiculous. Such a useless place. Even small garment shops now are having a breast feeding room with a comfortable sofa and ambience to make it a pleasant experience for the mom n child. However, i dont understand how can this place me so irresponsible and on top of it mall guys response to the review. ****

The best mall in town.near to jadavpur university and on prince anwarshah road, this is everyone’s choice when want to hang out.it has plenty of shops and after renovation it has added up to its beauty and a floor.food court is always crowded and has ample of parking space

Very disappointed with the response came from mall management regarding breast feeding room.they feel like it's a household chores. I just want to know whether there are grown up to this age directly after their birth without their mother's feeding? How can they find this funny? ! Such a unprofessionalism n disgusting attitude. Pathetic place with super disgusting staff.how can u say mother to breastfeed in toilet. I think the staff should be made to have his lunch and teas in toilet then only they will realise what he said was so rude. I hope the senior authority takes some action against this person.and please request mall management to consider nursing room. A woman was asked to breastfeed her baby in the toilet. They don't have a baby care room in such a huge mall. Also when this lady posted about this on their FB page they responded saying breast feeding is household chore and should be done at home. They should be sued.

There is no nursing room or feeding room in this mall. Inspite of their own deficiency, when a new mom went and asked for a space to feed her baby, they told her to feed the baby in bathroom. I think the staff here eats in bathroom and toilet. Such a natural thing like feeding your baby is viewed as a bad practice. I can't imagine how people can be so insensitive, narrow minded and backward.

On top of tht ur arrogant staff comments that the lady should complete her “household chores” (i.e breast feeding her baby) at home and then come and visit the mall.than am sure all the mall staff doesn’t eat anything in the mall the entire day as its considered “household chores”.

One of my friends, a breast feeding mom had recently visited n was asked to feed her baby in a stinking toilet. WTH. Would that person who gave her that suggestion eat n drink sitting in a public toilet? I stay in a Muslim country but never did I face such a humiliation till date n I have breast fed my baby every where that I went in malls, in cinemas everywhere.
Above all they even had the audacity to reply to her review saying she should have finished her "home chores" or "scheduled" before. Can anyone ever can be so insensitive to do that. How is it even possible to schedule a baby''s feed time?

The management authority of this mall is disgusting. Recently a lady had to breastfeed her baby and as there is no breastfeeding room in the mall (which is surprising) she wanted to breastfeed on the floor. But the mall authorities didn't allow her to feed there. She then had to leave the mall with a crying hungry baby. She posted about this on South City Mall's page and the response was horrifying. The response was that 'You should do your household chores at home. '
