We had dahi vada which was like 60rs for 2 vada and it was cold as ice. It was directly served out of the fridge in this weather and we told them about this they were like our customers have them this cold and they like it. We weren't even asked once whether we would like to have it hot or cold, they just served it.

The food is undeniably good at cheap rates. I tried the paneer plain dosa but the paneer was unflavoured but it got balanced die to the flavourful sambar and the thick coconut chutney. This was my second visit and I'll definitely revisit sometime in the near future.

A great Air Conditioned place to have South Indian Food. It is situated just outside the station.

Tried Dosa, Idli and Uttapam there. Dosa dn idli were quite good but they need to improve their Uttapam. Overall, it was a satisfactory experience.

One of the best south Indian restaurant I ever tried. One tip from my side, go with an empty stomach and a partner to taste the masala dosa of that resturant. The staff are very polite. The ambience is great. Tranquil environment. Hygiene and Atmosphere was outstanding given that its just a few steps from the office rush of Barrackpore station, to get the most affordable and stomach filling meal with decent service. Next time I will try to bring my friend along to taste the dosa.

Their food quality is not good and the quantity is not good. They change more amount. Don't buy from the shop.

Average food, reasonable price, good behavior, good services. Tiny place near barrackpore railway station. Around 10 to 12 people can seat together. Ac is there.

This is paneer masala dosa, we also order plain masala dosa. Taste was good, I like sambar more than coconut chutney. And the stuff in the dosa was full with peanut and pea. Small but Quite good pocket friendly atmosphere.

Nice place and good food. I order butter masala Dosa. The quality and quantity is good. The coconut chatny just awesome. Sambar is ok. Must try.

Delicious Dosa with many varieties. Taste was fabulous and I was enjoying every bit. Sambhar and Coconut chutney was lip smacking. They provide only South Indian dishes specifically meals. Price (70/-) was a bit high as compared to the local Vendors. But above all Ambience is good, nice place for family dine out. Last but not the least, you should give it a try! Highly recommendable!

Located exactly opposite to the Barrackpore station main gate. A small food hub serving delicious southern food at reasonable cost.
We ordered Plain idli which costed to 30/- for two idlies. And dahi vada costed to 50/- for 2 vadas.
They even have other servings like uttapam and dosas.

This place once was great for having a quick south indian snacks. But nowadays it's absolutely horrible. The food quality is still good. But for the price it's not worthy. The place itself is very dirty and the stuffs are very poor, uncooperative and unprofessional. You should get much better South Indian food in Haldirams.

My observations are mostly about the food. The coconut chutney was awesome. The sambhar had too much hing/asafoetida in it. The vada used the wrong type of daal. The recipe for vada batter was not correct.same is the case for idli batter. Idli should be soft and fluffy, should soak up chutney/ sambhar immediately upon contact and disintegrate in mouth. However, These were hard and rubbery and refused to soak chutney. Suggest to use idli rava incorporated in urad daal paste instead of grinding rice and urad daal together. The masala in masala dosa had peas in it. It tasted more like aloo sheddo than authentic South ka masala dosa. Cost wise I will say the dosas are a little costly. They accept only cash and no wallet payment.

One plain dosa, and one paper masala dosa. The masala in the masala dosa had motor in it (in pictures), which I have never seen in the mosla.that obviously was a considerable disappointment, and consequently a wastage of money. The coconut chatni however tasted reallyy good, and the sambar was quite fine too. So before you order Masala Dosa there, do ask what's available as the masala, whether it's motor-free.lol

A complete solution for your all types of South Indian food fantasy. A little bit nasty but the food quality is excellent as compared to the minimum rates of the food.

It's one of the best South Indian food point ever. The food they serve here is always hot and tempting and yeah the food items are worth the price.
I have tried some of the items here and am thinking of trying every single food item

I have ordered masala dosa. It was amazing. There are many varieties of dosa I like it. I have given 4 stars only because the dosa was bit crunchy but it was also tasty but I like soft. Except that it was alright

I ordered some Idli the other day.
It came to me as the image shows in a plastic bowl that could barely fit the Idlis i, moreover the spoon was also a plastic one? I could barely use the spoon to dig at my food which could topple off any moment thanks to the frail plastic bowl it was provided it.
Honestly didn't feel like i was dining outside, felt more like they opened a box they had packed to parcel and served it to me.

I had great hopes for this junction.
It didnt stand up to it.
