Spencer's Axis Mall, Kolkata is a huge departmental store for almost everything. You name it, they have it.

Within its premise it offers - grocery, cosmetics, apparels, stationery, beverages, gift items, exotic nuts and dry fruits, frozen non-veg items, bakery items to mention a few.

The store is super clean, has excellent connectivity and very organized. You can also order and enjoy food from counters.

Additional facilities around e.g. Multiplex, restaurants, bar-restaurants, within the premise and hotels.

The environment outside Axis mall is good, it is very peaceful, clean and spacious.

You won't regret even a window shopping there, if you are looking for a departmental store and you find yourself around Newtown Kolkata, then Spencer's is the place for you.

Totally Disgusting. Clothing collection is rubbish, every item is overpriced, small size clothes are not available.

Whenever I visited in morning hours only one or two billing counters remain open causing considerable delay in billing. On query people were clueless. No supervisor was available. I am a regular customer bur feeling very sorry to see such state.

The display and the people are great, huge variety as well. However the issue comes at the billing counter. Hardly any machines work. Huge time waste. Even the cashiers are troubled by it.

The person at the billing counter (a guy who was plum, dark and of average height) on my last visit was very rude and unhelpful. This was on the 19th of August at around 7: 45 pm at the Axis Mall store in Kolkata.

It’s actually Axis Mall not spencer, as you go inside the mall you will find spencer there and to be honest the liquor section there has lot of variety, we can choose or we can find whatever we were thinking, for me i mostly visit the liquor shop present inside the spencer.

Retail cum grocery shop at Axis mall ground floor with large space n lots of goods available. Also separate zone available for drinks n another area for bakery items

My favourite pickles are available here only. Not in neighbouring stores or in nearby More stores or Reliance fresh. Like Spencer's for varities. Billing slow.

The place was great sufficient enough to get a whatever you need.
Great place to hangout but the sitting arrangments are outside so a bit difficult during the rainy day.

Altogether it is great.

One of the best Hyper format store of Kolkata. You will get almost every daily needs items under one roof. Its in the ground floor of the Mall. Staffs are well trained. A small food court is also there.

Thus big store has all the pdts that a household may need
Starting from delicatessen to fresh fruit and veggies to Groceries, a wine store, bakery and event electronics toys stationers, toiletries to clothes and there is Wow momo, Flurys and Spencer own brand of ready to eat snacks

Some of challenges.
1) Network is poor inside the store
2) There are lot of Store in Store people and they are very pushy.however hey do get you good deals which other you may miss
3) Isle markers are very visible so ask around shop guides
4) Billing is a bit glitchy. They positively tell the POS operators about you membership number.ost do not ask
5) UPI transfers mostly don't work they would want you to have balance in you Wallet.
Last start would be if the billing experience is improved.

I like the grocery department of Spencers. They have almost every thing you may need starting from a rare spice to the varities of frozen fishes.

I just love the spencers in axis mall. Amazing collection and loads of variety to choose from. The epicuisine center is an added attraction and a fave of both my hubby n I.

Still giving a 4 star as the sales people have increased and no matter which section u go, theyre behind u. Becomes pretty irritating sometimes.

Other than that its just the best spencer.

One stop shop for all your requirements. One of the biggest Spencer of Kolkata. The staff is friendly. It would be great if they offered more discounts.

Awesome experience to Spencers. Here you will get all of your daily needs like Grocery, Fruits, Vegetables, Fish, Chicken, Electric appliances, Apparels etc. Well arranged & clean place to get your daily needs & shopping.

It is a great place where you can find all the brands of whiskey, wine etc but you can't drink it there you have to take home. It is present in the ground floor of Axis mall they accept both cash and cards. Good stock of all the varieties.

The 1800 number is a joke. No one picks up and they promise a whatsapp response which does not come.

The customer care mail does not get a response.

Yesterday I placed a order for delivery between 3.30 and 6.30. Got a mail saying it was ready for delivery at 4.30. It got delivered at 10pm. The frozen meats were warm. A bottle of vodka was missing though its invoiced. Now no way to get in touch.

Nice place for shopping but the eateries open quite late. Variety of products and price ensures satisfactory purchase. Well connected from the main road.

One stop shop for all your grocery and household needs. You can also buy cakes, fruits, vegetables, clothing, house furnishings, electronic items, cosmetics and frozen food items. They also have stores for Momos, burgers, rolls, and other fast-food inside the store. You can enjoy them inside. There is also a liquor store just near the exit.

Very poor quality of fruits and vegetables supplied most of the time. Customer care is helpless because they only liaison between the store and customer. Store in-charge of Spencers Axis Mall is very rude and does not entertain the complaints. He says customer has to cut the packets of all items including branded packets at the time of delivery and afterwards no complaints will be entertained. Very funny and user unfriendly. Spencers needs to improve a lot on customer service and replace rouge store manager with a well behaved one.

The home delivery service of this store sucks. I would have given it a negative rating if I had the option to do so. I had paid for 15 kg of rice to be delivered at my place. The order wasn't delivered on the scheduled day. I waited for 3 days and then went to enquire in person. There I met other customers who were being harassed similarly. I was informed that the delivery boys come late and leave early and are reluctant to do their work. They kept me waiting so that I could see their manager who didn't come eventually. They promised that the order would be delivered the next day (that's 4th day after placing the order). When the "delivery babus" finally arrived today, they aggressively accused me of giving the wrong phone number and said that my location, which is just a km away from the store, is untraceable. They even had the audacity to blatantly lie that I was the only customer whose order wasn't being delivered due to my own flaws. The staff is extremely unprofessional, irresponsible and not at all respectable.

As Spencer's have a monopoly market in Kolkata and they never fail to take advantage of it. I stay in Newtown where the availability of markets are less. This particular Spencer's always runs out on daily use milk and curd. The AC doesn't work. And they will have just one counter.mind you just one.to weigh vegetables and fruits (that too on busy weekends). I hate shopping here. I would definitely choose any other over this one if I had a choice.

This is bigger then other spancers which is located in this locality. You will get everything here. This is inside axis mall.

One of the best shopping place in new town, rajarhat. You get everything here for household. The product they sell is of high quality.
