Well everything was average, nothing was out of the box which I thought would be but no it was not. If you want to have a decent meal you can opt this place

It's a small and cozy restaurant in Dover Terrace, Bullygunge area. Good quality food and attentive cordial staff. The restaurant manager was supervising everything and helping customers in choosing food. However, the place is pretty small, enough to just eat and then leave. This is not a relaxed dining place.

Great place to go on a date with your partner also you can go with your family and friends to have great evening.

A nice somewhat upper mid category restaurant with good food and great service.

Beer batter fish is a must try. Charmoula chicken was also good. The continental dishes were average. The white gravy mutton dish was amazing, though i feel the quantity could have been more.

If you go it is almost guaranteed you won't be disappointed. Indian, Chinese, continental, It has something for everyone. Great for family gatherings and group meet-up.

Full Review - So, we decided to visit this renowned place after long thinking (result of reading so many reviews). We went on a Sunday afternoon (obviously called them beforehand to ensure our seats). Got a few recommended items to try out, so we decided for Chef Special Entrees to begin with, and then proceed to main course.

Dishes we ordered - Beer Can Tempura Fish, Bacardi Limon Infused Chicken Tandoori Sausage with Churan and Blueberry Coulis, Shepherd's Pie, Moon Fan, Chicken Manchurian.

Drinks taken - Long Island Iced Tea (LIIT)

Service and Ambience - Light Music, Perfectly dim lighting, makes pretty cool ambience. Service was fast and prompt. The Moon Fan and Manchurian was packed for take away, without any extra charge. What I found quite Impressive is that they allowed us to stay for quite a while there even after the bill was paid.

Food Review - People. You've gotta try the Beer Can Tempura Fish fry, it is their most infamous and recommended dish certainly for a reason. I have never tasted such tender fish fry in my life. The Orange dip in Fish Fry and Churan and Blueberry Coulis with Tandoori Sausages are probably the most uncommon and tastiest dips you can find in the city. The Shepherd's Pie was delicious without exception. The Moon Fan and Chicken Manchurian was one of the most delectable chinese I ever had, filled with authentic flavours.

The LIIT was awesome, every alcohol's taste was distinct, and was an absolute showstopper to such amazing food.

Definitely a 5/5 place. One I would surely revisit sometime pretty soon, to try out some other flavourful delicacies.

Good quality food and drink served here with good atmosphere. Only appropriate for small group of people. Representative of the restaurant behaved very homely.

This was my return visit after a decade. And it reminded me why this is Kolkata's highest rated restaurant.

The food was excellent. Both quality and quantity wise. The service was faultless and the atmosphere was soothing.

We ordered chicken dejaj and chicken fried rice with some sort of spicy chicken gravy (forgot its name).
All were good and fulfilling.

The food was amazing quality and quantity in both ways…and their food presentation was absolutely incredible loved the vibe, atmosphere, place was so cozy and comfortable too… the stuff was very humble, kind well behaved also friendly a must visit place 10/10

One of the best culinary experiences I've had. The food is top notch, it's a super creative menu, and it's delivered with great care. There are only a few places that put their heart and soul into food, and this is definitely one of them. Their cocktails and mocktails are brilliant and goes really well with the food. My personal favourite was the shepherd's pie, and the mocktail drink infused with cucumber (cannot remember the name). When in doubt, you can always talk to the staff, who are super helpful and can find you what you like.

All the dishes were delicious and cooked to perfection.

Must haves:
1. Beer batter fried fish with orange sauce
2. Baked fish wellington

One of the best restraunts when it comes to their recipies, taste and presentation. They also have alot of amazing cocktails.

Very good food. Ambience is not that appealing but the food won't disappoint. Also keep in mind it's a little bit expensive

Yesterday I went to this place with my friend and it was a beautiful experience. The ambience, staff behaviour, service, and ofcourse the food everything was very good.

This place located near Hazra Law College is an absolute gem. The food is top notch and the ambience is perfect for a cozy meal with family or friends. The staff is really courteous and they know the menu throughout. And they suggest the best dishes. For starters I had their very recommended, Dajaj Charmoula and Prawn in fragrant coriander sauce, which was amazing to say the least. The chicken was really succulent and delicious and the prawns were really juicy! Main Course included Mixed Fried Rice and Fish in choice of Sauce! Again, both were really well made. And their highlight came in the form of dessert which was Beyond Fried Ice Cream! It is highly recommended! To wash it all down I had Tangarita which was fruity with a tangy punch!
I couldn’t be any happier with this restaurant!

Foods were absolutely great.but the drinks has disappointed me. Honestly speaking those were worst and wastage of money

We ordered various kinds of starters. Their continental and Indian starters are very nice but the Asian ones are quite basic. Nothing different from other places which serve Chinese/Asian food. The unique nature of their other starters is lost when one comes to the Asian options. Only one dessert was available that is fried ice cream but the flavour of coconut was a bit overwhelming in that.
Overall a decent experience if one sticks to their signature dishes.

One of the best places in Kolkata to have sumptuous food in the best of its glory. Loved SpiceKraft time and again. I was never let down by the sheer quality, ample quantity and awesome hospitality.

The quality food they serve is really good that too in a affordable price. Please try out their charmola chicken leg pieces if you plan to go there.

Starters were overpriced and hyped. But main course is absolutely delicious. I'm a foodie btw. Chicken Strongoff was the the best of the lot, as it was cheesy and creamy. We also tried coq-au-vour, Nashik Goreng, Laal Maas and Naan. Martini was too good.

What an experience. I was a bit hesitant about the restro. Now, we don't regret. Every platter was delicious with enough quantity. Will be visiting soon.

One of the finest dining place in kolkata. One suggestion would be please order from there chef's special or any starter, those are very delicious and mouthwatering. But the main course is not that much good. Ambience is okay but the staff behaviour is very nice.

Spice kraft is one of the best place in Kolkata to hangout with friends or family. Not only ambience is good but every single dish is so welly cooked and served over there, I went twice till now but one of my favorite outlet is this.
There sitting arrangements also nicely done.

Wonderful food, one of the best in kolkata. Cuisine is a fusion of Bengali and continental. Serves great cocktails as well. Slightly dmall seating but the food more than compensates for it!

Their tagline should be finger lickin good. Thats it.
Good service, polite waiter, yummy food. Innovative drinks. Managers offer good suggestions.
I felt ambience can be changed to a warmer colors.

The restuarant is located near Ballygaunge phari and it is one of the best place to have continental dishes. We ordered a lot of starters and all of them were equally good. The best were the fish items, one was the tempura fish in beer can and other was some fish baked in cheese. The later one tasted awesome and it melted in the mouth. The main course was not that much attractive but the continental dish of wellington fish tasted superb. The ambiance was also very soothing. Only one disadvantage that I felt was that the menu was available only after scanning a QR code and we had to ask multiple times to order the dishes and the serving was also very slow, Overall a very good resturant with great quality food

Had high hopes regarding the place, its not that it didn't serve good food, but it wasn't able to live up to the high expectations.

The owner's other restaurant, the safron tree really elevates the experience of food not only in presentation but also unique recipes (lichi kebab, Dehli butter chicken etc.). The desert is to die for in Safron Tree.

But the menu at Spice Craft is very limited, and conventional. The service too is slower and wasn't able to suggest the best options.

Was here with my frnds. It was a grt experience all together. I love Lymwn samak (a fish starter wonderfully cooked) and also the mocktail chivas julep, so good it was.

Visiting for the first time, had to try the signature and the most talked about dishes for this place. (1) Chicken Charmola (2) Deviled Crab Meat (3) Beer Can Fish Tempura

And, they didn't disappoint at all. They are one of the best starters, i ever had. Specially, the Devilled Crab Meat was delicious and a must try.

It is one of my favourite places located opposite Hazra law college. Went there after ages it has the best variety of cocktails and food.
We tried beer tempura fish, pork belly and devil crab and all them were up to the mark. Also the staffs are very nice and will alws answer with a happy face.

Always had a Questins hovering on mind, how can a restaurant be constant with 4.8 or 4.9 rating in Zomato.

Trust me, Unless you visit, you won't understand. I was just wow at their service and taste.

A wonderful dining experience at Spice Kraft, they served food with a twist. I realised why it is one of the highest rated restaurants of Kolkata. From the great ambience.

Situated near Ballygunge Phari, location is apt to drop in for a dining experience. A wide choice of starters Continental, Asian and Indian. Quality of food, portion size is good. Covid protocols are followed. Definitely worth a try!

The place is cozy enough to hang with frnds and family. The food quality is also good, specially the Sarson Wali Machhi starter item and the Noodles tastes really well.

The food was good. Everything we ordered was really good in taste. The reason this places didn't get a 5 star is because of 2 main reasons: Firstly the person attending our table was very rude to my sister when she informed him that the tandoori roti was not cooked through. And the 2nd reason is that the service time they took to service was way to long. Had to wait for quite some time to get our food. The good things about this place is that the quality and quantity were very adequate and filled the 6 of us. Cleanliness and covid 19 protocols were top notch.

Being in south Kolkata and not visiting to Spice Kraft resturant would be a sin. An awesome place for dinning out with family and friends. Had a wonderful experience altogether. Good food along with great service and ambience.

I would suggest everyone to visit this restaurant. By far I had the best experience of Chinese cuisine in Kolkata. Truly enjoyable with full satisfaction. Staff behaviour is also very good. At present it is better than all other reputed Chinese Restaurant in Kolkata. I think they should think of franchisee now.

Since we went during the pandemic the menu was really reduced, and excluded their much talked about desserts which we really missed. The food quality is medium high I would say, not the best I've ever had but not bad either. The quantity leaves a little to be desired, and seeing from cost-benefit point of view it is a little expensive. The alcohol prices are pretty standard. Overall, ambience is good and they maintained hygiene so I have it 4 stars. Worth atleast one experience!

We ordered the chicken starter which I liked the most it was new to me. The other items and the cocktails were also very nice. The service was quick. The food was tasty. This place got both natural day light and dim light seating. I prefer the latter for dates!
Chinese is their forte and the starter memu is laden with goodness. Got Good cocktails and a drink menu too.
Service can be, less responsive on crowdy days but the food is worth it.
Good value for money and do check the many food awards decorated on the front wall!

If you love fusion food, this is it. Fantastic place to hang out with both family and friends. The dishes and drinks couldn't have been more exquisite!

Both the dishes have a distinct spice quotient, the first bite just melts in your mouth but after 2 minutes the spice just hits up your palatte. I'm not fond of spicy fond but this just stole my heart!

Definitely will visit the restaurant to savour the other delicacies!

This is my 4th time in Spice kraft and as usual the food was excellent. Dajaj Chermoula and beer can tempura fish.these are my personal favourites.they are taking all the necessary precautions post this covid situation!

Beautiful place with beautiful food. The staffs are courteous. Foods are awesome, with attractive garnishing. The ambience is quite decent. This place deserves a 4.9 Rating in Zomato, and it has good reasons for it. Location is also easily accessible from any parts of Kolkata. Just one suggestion: Don't get baffled by the weird food names on the menu, just ask the staffs and they'll clarify you everything. Happy fooding?

The food here is delicious and affordable. The staff is very nice and if you are confused with their extensive menu, just ask the staff and you won't regret their advice. Ambience is good, not great. I ordered "Coq Au Vin" whish was very tasty and sufficient for one person. I also ordered takeaway which included: khabsa (main dish), Mandarin fish with chicken and shezuan fish. Shezuan fish was above average. The rest were really delicious especially the Khabsa

Spice Kraft has always amazed and this time was no different. We had Beer Battered Fish, Chicken Stroganoff, Prawn Thermidor and number of cocktails of which the best was Kokum Rita.

Ambience and food quality is just awesome. Smooth texture of the dishes makes this place more special. Must try Dajaj Chermoula and Fish En Papillote in the starters. We tried Baked Fish Wellington in the main course that we liked so much.

The food quality was good but the quantity was not that much. I had to order 2 more extra dishes to have a proper dinner because of the very small quantity. Also the price does not justify the quantity. Overall it was ok
