If you want to find yourself relaxed and have some moment to make the day worth go to mayapur at prabhupada puspasamadhi, and visit the world's largest hindu mandir ISKON chandradaya mandir. Thank you
Such a beautiful place, I loved it. The best time to visit this place is October to February. And if you don't like crowd, try to avoid the Holi festival. On this day the whole town becomes extremely crowded, and scorching heat of the sun is another problem. It becomes difficult to walk in bare feet at there. There shall be no auto/toto to carry you from the Ghat to the temple.
Beautiful Puspasamadhi Mandir of Srila Prabhupada who have spread the great "Hare Krishna Mantra" to every corner of the world and have awakened "Krishna" consciousness in people mind, situated within Mayapur ISKCON campus, only 130 km away from Kolkata and takes approx 4 hours by Road. Very Nice place surrounded by various types of trees and flower gardens and in the middle beautiful structure of Puspasamadhi Mandir. Very neat and clean, well decorated, calm and quiet atmosphere. Very peaceful place for worship for people who love Lord Krishna. Hare Krishna.

Seeing their activities really brings a lot of peace in the mind, love for Lord Krishna increases even more.
Done lots of practical application with projects. Really helpful for build my resume and add skills. Thank You so much for this great learning opportunity.
A very peaceful place with spiritual vibes all around. Prabhupada's status is there in the samadhi. We went on a 6-7 days trip in Mayapur by ISKCON Gaya, loved it. We all used to do chanting at Prabhupada Samadhi everyday after attending Mangal Aarti in the morning.
Awesome place to visit. So charming and peaceful place. Outstanding location. Pleasant atmosphere. Clean and clear surroundings. Magnificent arrangements.
This is the monument for which people visit Mayapur, very peaceful ambience, well maintained, devoted place for Shri Krishna worship and Prabhu Sri Chaitanya research, common people also admire and enjoy the spiritual and cultural activities in the campus.
Ameging place for krishna devotees, it is tample build by International society of Krishna consciousness (ISKON) and Mayapur is ISKON headquarter also. Because Mayapur is the birth place of ISKON founder Prabhupada. Very auspicious environment and people from around the glob are worship lord Krishna, Prabhupada and chaitanya maha prabhu.
Excellent place. Serena and peaceful that make u very comfortable. Mahaprasadam available from 10 am to 1 pm after 3 hrs rest then again from 4 pm Temple will reopen.
NOT PUSPASAMADHI. THIS IS THE ISKCON TOVP. It is the temple of vedic planetarium. The Pushpa samadhi is behind this (under CONSTRUCTION) building. Also, Iskcon has NO Hindu temples. We are not western Hindus.
What to express of His Divine Grace, in morning after Mangala arati devotees chant here, even I chanted for nearly 1 hour, then is the Darshana arati at 7: 00 am. After that Prabhupada samadhi is open to all. There's also a great museum on the second floor which is on the Hare Krishna movement started by Prabhupada and all explained nicely about book distributions and his BG and Bhagvatam classes he took in abroad, all about his journey Krishna designed, till his disappearance.
It was really good. Still good but has lost its charm a little because of its excessive commercialization. Everything in a gods place is bought with money. It's more of a money minded place. Parking is ample. Lots of places to stay. Good outing from Kolkata for a weekend getaway. Parking is available.
Peaceful and serene. If you are looking for a break from the hustle and bustle, pack your bags and leave for Mayapur. It can host ask for of people with rooms starting from ₹100/night (4pax) to ₹5k. The prasadam is delicious and is available in almost all cuisine and all prices. The sanctity at Mayapur is unparalleled. The life at Mayapur is Vedic life which is a new and a different way to life. McKee due you haven't booked your return tickets because you might want to stay a little longer

It is a great mandir with a very pleasant environment. One can relax here as the surroundings are very soothing. You can get food and rooms to stay at cheaper cost. Don't forget to visit goshala and buy ghee from there. It tastes awsm. Try to stay inside the mandir during arati time. A completely different experience!
Great place. Beautiful greenary just outside the hustle bustle of Kolkata. Very clean. Hygenic food served. Beautiful temple. Soul soothing place. Time of visit from morning to 1pm. Temple again at 4 PM
Hare krishna hare kriahna krishna krishna hare hare Hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare The hare krishna maha mantra. Recitation of this will connect you to lord krishna, the ultimate god. Very nice place. Dont take it for tourism but take it for devotion.
A divine place and so beautiful. If you are visiting the place in the summer, then you must take extra precautions. You must bring umbrella, sunglass, sun screen cream to protect you from extra heat. But you can't protect your feet from the heat of the street. It will feel like walking on the burning coal. Better to visit the temple on winter, spring or rainy season. You can watch the aarti, natural beauty of this divine place and take prashad in divinely environment. You will surely enjoy your time.
Absolutely clean and calm surroundings inside th ISKCON campus. You can often hear the Hare krishna chants from different devotees. The security is very stringent inside the campus. The staffs are polite and helpful at all times. The only negative is probably the parking. They have a one time parking fee of Rs 100 per night. Catch is you cant take the car out of campus If you do, your parking period ends there. Tough for people who might want to visit areas around mayapur within their visit.
It is the Samadhi Temple of Krishnakripashreemurti Shreel Abhaycharanarabinda Bhaktibedanta Swami Prabhupada, the one who globalized ISKON. Marvelous architecture, royal presence & absolutely divine. The temple depicts incidents from Samudramanthan, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Mahaprabhu's Harinaam Sankeertan, Swami Prabhupada's life events and many more. At the center of the temple, it is Swami Prabhupada's Maha Samadhi. You can buy ISCON's books, photos, etc from here as well. Photography is not allowed inside the temple. You have to keep you mobile, etc gadgets to the security outside this temple.
The place is for A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda samadhi temple. This is place and architecture is very nice. Inside the temple you can see A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda's life in image. Apart from that there some more idols. The place is quite and you may feel very relax. In the middle of the temple A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda's samdhi. In the top floor there is also a museum. But for that you need a Rs. 10 INR cupoon. This temple I think newly setup. Must visit this temple. Note: You can't carry mobile, laptop and many more things in the temple (they put a list outside). The shoe locker is free, but for the mobile and other there is paid service. You need to pay at around Rs. 10 INR for that, depends no of items you deposit.
