Nice place to eat at cheap price. Fish meal is very good and tasty. Other meals are normal.

My favorite in IIT kgp. Special macher mathaa (fish head). And the chicken at Wednesday lunch is very testy and good.

This is canteen located in the IIT Kharagpur campus, near the main building gate security office. It is open to all. One can get breakfast and lunch at very nominal rates. Veg meal @₹30, egg meal @₹36, fish meal @₹45, chicken meal @₹55 etc. The dal and rice is unlimited.lunch opens from ~12: 30 pm to ~2pm. The food is tasty considering the price point. It gets crowded around 1: 00 pm so come early. Overall a very good place for your lunch.
