Very good banquet hall. Located on Sarat bose road. Roadside parking available. Went to attend a marriage reception.

I recently hosted my daughters rice ceremony on Sudesh Banquet 2nd floor hall. The property is posh well maintained and located on Sarat Bose Road.
My guest size was approx 100+ the experience was just awesome. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Starting from the venue booking to arranging decorators to florist everything was managed so well that the event was a grand one. The entire crew of Sudesh starting from the owner brothers to GM Mr. Sushar Banerjee and all staff including the security guy was so cooperative and greeted us with so much warmth. I had never imagined me and our guests will get this kind of reception.
I would like to personally thank Mr. Banerjee for helping us design the menu and especially forcing us choose the desert ‘Baked Alaska’ which was incredible. The food quality and taste was incomparable and nothing less than 5 star hotel buffet trust me. We did not had a single complaint from any guests. We had great food and the service boys did a fantastic job. Mr. Banerjee was personally present almost throughout the event monitoring the team and ensured our guests are taken care. Thank you Sir for being there.
The pricing was pretty competitive and with the above said it didn’t mattered. We had a great time. I wish team Sudesh all the best and great success in coming days. Kudos to the entire team

I have attended many a function at Sudesh prior to it hosting my own son's first rice ceremony last week. To start with, the staff is extremely courteous and Mr. Sushar Banerjee, the current operations manager, was extremely co-operative. Since my function had a blend of bengali and non-Kolkata non-bengali people coming in, the menu he suggested had a blend of traditional Bengali and non-bengali dishes. Each and every person who had the food said that each and every dish was very tasty. Special mention for the dal makhani, paneer tikka butter masala, baked alaska (a must have dessert) and the rabri with malpua. I also booked rooms at their hotel (Sudesh Tower) which is nearby. They gave me a discount on the package and the rooms were very decent and again had very courteous staff. The food at Drishti restaurant was amazing too! If you are looking for a venue in South Kolkata to host a function, I would definitely recommend Sudesh Bhavan. Lastly, their in-house decorator, Rintu Maity, was excellent with the decoration as well. A big thank you to Mr. Sushar and his team for this wonderful experience!

My wedding was organized here. We loved the ambience and the food quality was excellent. The staff was cordial and decoration was suited to taste. Overall very good experience

In March 2023 we hosted our son's rice eating ceremony at Sudesh Bhawan. We booked the first floor hall along with the terrace.

The entire experience was very satisfactory, starting from the hall booking process to the discussions regarding the catering, decoration, and photography everything was done in an extremely smooth and professional way.

We had a great celebration, lovely decoration, awesome ambience and very tasty spread of delectable items for lunch. We had both North Indian and Bengali food items for the buffet and each and every item, from the starters to the main course and dessert were delicious!

I would like to personally thank and recommend the following people from Sudesh Bhawan's team who helped make our son's annaprashan a day to remember:

Mr. Sushar Banerjee from Sudesh Bhawan who helped us with the initial booking and menu selection. He was the main person who managed the entire event very efficiently. Always approachable and very friendly.

Mr. Joginder, who was the on floor manager on the day of the event. He was very efficient and ensured the guests were comfortable, that there was continuous supply of starters and that the lunch items never fell short.

Mr. Rintu Maity, florist and decorator decorated the venue exactly like the way we wanted. We opted for balloon decoration and the entire hall was decked up really beautifully with his and his team's efforts!

Mr. Tultul, he helped with another aspect of decoration where in he provided the main furniture required at the venue (nicely decorated sofas, covered dias, main designer seating sofa on the dias and the terrace top cover).

Mr. Biswajit Das, SVS Digital Entertainment, who covered the entire celebration through video and still photography. The video and photographs are still under process but the first set of photos and the draft version of the video looks really great and quite. We are really looking forward to the final versions! I would definitely recommend Mr. Das for photography and video.

In all, I would highly recommend Sudesh Bhawan for any kind celebrations/events - Excellent location, services, catering and decoration.

Food was horrible.

Place is good for accommodating 100 people. Anything more than that feels claustrophobic.

This is the second time we hired this banquet hall. And the experience was again very nice, and the food taste was simply mouth watering. Mr Sushar Banerjee just goes the extra mile to ensure that everything regarding the party is very good. He helped in choosing the menu, and suggested a Fish Florentine dish and a Baked Alaska Dessert, which was a super hit amongst all the guests. Highly recommended.

Location is prime easily connected by metro, local train and auto buses, property is alo well maintained, Just beside National high school. 10 mins in auto from gariahat more.and also 10 mins Rashbehari more.

I have performed two occasions in the first and second of banquet and never face any problem and upon my recommendation one of my relative also booked the hall for 5th March 2023. But my suggestion is that additional proactivation may increase the appeasement of customers.

We hosted our marriage anniversary here. The venue was very nice, right size for our event. The decor was simple but also festive and bright. The food was excellent praised by all our guests. The staff was very polite and efficient. The manager was very helpful throughout the planning process, advising us and answering all our questions.

This place was amazing it's beautifully decorated & the seminar hall was too good there are available two sided lift. Best place to celebrate any occation birthday party weddings or office meeting

The right corner of the building now accommodates Punjab National Bank, earlier known as United Bank, which was then located next to Priya Cinema Hall on Rashbehari Avenue.

Had my wedding there, booked the 2nd floor and roof. Everything was satisfying including food and decoration.

Highly priced but very poor service. Foods are too bad and tasteless. Try to avoid this place for any social occasion marriage, birthday, conference etc.

I recently attended my brother's wedding party here. Very nice hall and very clean and tidy.all The staffs are good. Location is good.easily accessible.parking facility is available.

The service was worse. Will never book this banquet ever. The management staff was worse. Overall experience was bad. They took lot of money. Will suggest never book this banquet.

I attended a wedding party recently.its neat and clean.deco was awsome.enough space available for parking as well.lift available and location is easily accessible. Can be accessed via bus, auto, metro and ofcourse cabs are readily available.

Very Substandard and negative advice and attitude from the owner. Loud and disrespectful in nature, bad management tactics. Miserly approach. Don’t book this banquet if you are looking to have a classy wedding. Only a good place for people who want to save money by compromising on quality and conduct a social ceremony for the sake of doing it considering it an obligation.

Amazing hotel and plush interiors, amazing food and ambience, OVERALL IT'S FAB with its quality and services in totality. I wish them all the best for maintaining this the same in near future too.

Visited as a guest there. Food was most probably served by their own caterers. Food was too much spicy and not so tasty. If they allow choose your own caterers from outside.

This is situated on Sarat Bose Road, Kolkata 700026 and quite spacious. The food is supplied by their own caterer. Food quality is good.
Party can be arranged either on ground floor or on the first floor.
No parking on the front main road but valet parking is there.

We hosted our wedding reception here. The banquet actually looks a lot nicer than in the photos on their website. Their food quality, quantity, serving staff - everything was top notch! Highly recommend.

A beautiful banquet for office conference, well located near to metro. Parking space is less, you have to park on road. Washroom is very small compare to banquet size. Food is so so. A 3/4 hrs session is ok. A full-day program is no no. No space outside the banquet. Think twice before selecting your banquet.

Service is certainly found wanting. They got to train their Serving Staff to give Service. Food is excellent and Fresh.

It is an excellent place for hosting ceremony like marriage reception ceremony, rice ceremony, birthday party and different kind of events.location is very good, not too difficult to reach, situated just besides of deshapriya park.spacious and well maintained banquet hall. But problems are outsides foods are not allowed here and parking space are very limited.

Ambience is great but food quality is quite average. Quite spacious inside. Good for big occasions.
