Sun City Resort Mandarmani

We checked in this resort for a wedding. Though the location is mesmerizing which includes the beach which is just stone throw away from this resort. Scenic beauty was too good. This resort covers an immense part of land and too big to be covered on foot. Although everything was apt but just one flaw was maintainence of Rooms. We stayed in a shell shaped room which looked beautiful from outside but from inside it has all those old furniture that too not properly maintained. If they improve such things in this resort it will be a place to visit by everyone. As service was top notch and food was ok. It has pool and garden which was very comfortable to view while we had a walk around the property. We visited this place in January so it was too cold at that time of visit which made our stay more blissful. We surely recommend to people to visit this place as you may get this place at less price in comparison to facility and view here. Best to travel by your own vehicle at this property otherwise cab fare are too high for a drop.

Did not stay there, but went for dinner to their restaurant. The experience was very good. Keep it up Sun City.

Everything is good except the kind of people the management lets check in. Most of these people are hooligans who apparently have never seen women in their lives and they can go oogling and passing vulgar comments to your women family members all day without any fear. They throw private parties right in front of the family rooms with a few local girls (dancers or probably sex workers) hired from god knows where. The worst part is, there is no action taken by the management even after reporting these incidents. Although the hotel, food and its service were good, I won't be visiting this place ever just because of the kind of crowd it attracts or no stern action being visible to prevent these kinds of acts!

Fake, the picture here are old, the place is in ruins, and they charge excessive on every item, a cold drink with MRP of ₹40 is sold with a price of ₹78 with fake billing. Not clean environment, bad parking area, no rides or other things available. Please be aware to be fooled with the pictures and all

Good and nice place and nice rooms. Bathtubs don't work. Highly overpriced. They are selling products with an MRP at a higher price and charging GST over that.

Excellent resort with huge area. Lots of activity for kids. Perfect for family outing. Though the boat houses require bit of maintenance. But overall it's good. This property is huge. You cannot cover the property by walking. Service was excellent. Food was excellent as well. Rooms require a bit of maintenance. Parking area is available inside the Resort. Sea beach is just 2 mins walk. Very much recommended.

The location is not very good. Good food though. But the pool is not maintained at all. And the beach is not safe, for either kids or adults.

It's an old property with zero maintenance efforts. For rooms with 3500-4500₹ rental per day you should expect at least decent stay and services. I've been a regular visitor from last 3 years but this year will be my last as I'm highly disappointed. Conch shell rooms- seems only ground floor rooms get maintained and the first floor gets ignored like the middle child in the family. Pest ridden bathrooms with blackened sinks and toilet. Rooms have dampened over the years. Unwashed sheets and oldest AC available. Though service is fast but adds no value to the ghastly rooms. I would strongly suggest to look for better options in such price range.

Very good place to stay at Mandarmani. But the location is far away from locality. Without personal car, its tough to reach. Prices are as per 5 star category.

We had a really bad experience, this resort really need big maintenance work specially in the rooms and bathrooms. Bathrooms were not cleaned properly and it’s in very bad condition, Do not waste your money and time. There are many other good resorts nearby this place

The ambiance was really good. They provide the best service in the business. The rooms were too good. One will have great sea views and access to the beach. Their pool service is also good. I will suggest people to carry their own swim suits. Cause, they will not allow you if you're not wearing swimming material. Either, you have to buy from them, which is a bit costly. If you are going with your own car, it's great. But if you don't have a car, then you will face issues if you want to go to the main market. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay with your family and near ones.

The resort used to be a good one but the quality has deteriorated. Rooms are alright but nothing too good. Rooms need maintenance and are pretty old. A renovation would be nice. There was dust collected near the back of the bed. Washroom was usable but nothing too clean. There were water leaks in the corridor during rain. We ahd a sea view room and the view from the balcony was great. Resort is right beside the sea and has a gate to the sea which is useful. The food here is a bit pricey and taste is average. There is a good pool with mist spray shower, open from 9am to 9pm. There js also paddle boat. There is a small badminton court. Many small decorative structures around the property that makes it look pretty. After sundown, the lights are a bit dim, so it looks kind of deserted. Hospitality is good. Overall it's alright but it very much needs a good renovation.

I stayed at this resort almost for three days and it was a nice experience. This place is very huge and has many facilities like swimming pool, parks for children, lawn for relaxing and many more. The main problem faced by me that rooms were not well organised and had a stinky smell but although it was good. BEACH area is nice

It is a nice place to spend a wonderful weekend. There is so many activities inside the property. Swimming pool, boating, kids' playground, toy train, water park, music fountain (but as of November 2022, some of them is out of order). You can get wonderful Sea views from rooms, lawn. Specially kids will enjoy so much.

Good stay, great view, premises is large. Lunch hour is very limited upto 3 pm, afterwards no food will be available even in room service. Atleast basic food shall be available in room service after restaurant lunch hour. Sea view rooms are small in size with a balcony. Inside Garden view rooms are cottage type suit with drawing room. Pools and artificial water ponds are good to enjoy at evening

A very great resort. It has different types of rooms. It has few small cottage type houses. Which are very attractive. Few houses are only for one family. Few have two rooms one at first floor and one at the ground. The hotel has very nice dining space with tasty food. A bit costly but all the Mandarmoni hotels are costly in terms of food. It also has great sea facing rooms with a nice terrace. Within the campus it has boating free of cost. It has a swimming pool but the water is not that clean. You can play badminton carrom etc within the campus. It has two spa. But I have not availed any spa service so cannot rate them. The sea beach is just beside the campus.

It's an urnest request to all the people that the number given on the website of suncity resort mandarmani is a fraud number. Please do not do any bookings or payment through this number. They will ask you for payment through gpay and also ask the bank details please don't share any details.

This is a complete fraud. I booked two rooms and paid 3000 in advance after which they blocked me and didn't pick up my calls. The number given will show of Srikanth Rana in Truecaller and they took money on a bank account named Sukhwinder Singh by giving a QR code. Its a complete fraud. Dont land yourself in trouble everyone.

Very good & huge property. Excellent service. But the problem is its not maintain. Rooms looks like very old. Bedsheets are staining. Otherwise fine.

The property is devastated during recent Amphan. Rooms are poor food is average.swimming pool is dirty.service is poor. I would not recommend this property as it's not at all worth the price it is charging

This was my first time visit to any resort in mandarmani.i must say i am quite satisfied with the facilities and services provided by the Resort. Many attractions were shut down due to unknown reasons like ropeway, water park, toy train.

But the food served here was really delicious. Please choose their buffet menu while dining as it will be pocket friendly. Rooms were nice and the bathrooms were clean. You can get amazing view of sea direct from your room (bed).
In short, it was nice amazing experience here. Want to visit here again.

The beautiful property should be maintained more properly. Food and staff service was on point.

Very very very dissappointing and worst experience. I think Sun City resort has become almost dilapidated and worst resort specially from the safety aspect. Broken door of the resort, no security guards, poor condition of rooms doors broken windows, no fans, no amusement facilities, darkness throughout the resort, VERY UNSAFE TO STAY AT NIGHT since anyone can enter the resort and attack anyone in the resort. Also dirty rooms and bathrooms. I suggest not to visit Sun city anymore.

Not at all recommended for anyone, staffs are arrogant, rude and don't have basic etiquettes to talk. I called the resort for bulk booking and the front office guy ROHIT talked in a very foolish manner.

Worst hotel to stay in.smelly rooms. Third class maintenance. No service phone. Worst bathroom. Just the food is good of the restaurant.

Decent place, Rooms are nice and stuff but just 2 min walk there is another resort which is cheaper than this and this resort doesn't even have wifi which is a major point, View is good from all near by resorts, its overpriced (food as well), Do more research before booking.

Rooms are pathetic, worst condition of bed, taps, AC, Doors, chairs. You will feel as if you are cheated for such amount charged by the hotel. Only good part is the food of the restaurant, food is awesome. Location is good but nothing inside the campus is maintained swimming pool is too small and dirty, even there is no light at night in Campus. The manager who sits inside a room near reception is very greedy, he asked me money (8000₹) For taking picture from DSLR which my all friends were having. So be CAREFUL IF YOU ARE A COUPLE and if you have expensive cameras. Will highly recommend nearby hotel from this are far much better and pocket friendly with very good service.

Not so cool place. Services not worth the price. All activities were not available except swimming pool. Restaurants services were not so good yet prices were high.

The maintenance is satisfactory. The place needs a lot of renovation but it is understandable due to the recent occurrence of the natural calamity.

The Sun city property was not upto the mark as we expected it to be. We were 15 people in our group but we were not satisfied with the hospitality and service provided at this property. Their overall management who is operating is very poor.
A strange incident happened at this property was that we had ordered mineral water from the reception but we were served waste water from the local tap which very much dissapointed me.
The resort offered good open place to chill. There are many fun activities at this resort.

Below standard. They are taking so much money and they cant even give a single clean room. The staffs are aggressive and ill mannered. We 4girls were there and many incidents happened with us where we were not able to feel safe to stay there. Nothing good about this place. The name and fame are not only things we need for staying or enjoying in a resort.

Place is good for kids but maintenance is major issue here. I was planning to stay 2 nights but checked out very next day only due to service issue. Room tariff Rs_4K per day but A/C was not working, no tea/Coffee maker in room, dust inside, window broken in washroom.

The area is too big but maintenance is very poor.

Room service is horrible, we booked 2 night stay against of 8750 but the room and its service are below 1000 rs hotel.

A self sufficient resort right beside the beach loaded with all sorts of fun activities. Food was also good. Only downside, were the hotel rooms which were not maintained properly. Most of the charging sockets were not usable, bathrooms have bathtubs installed but they were not usable. The room look luxurious but in part and pieces.

Looks amazing from outside, the resort area is great with good food but disappointed with the cleanliness and condition of rooms. Rooms were dusty as hell, blanket was so dusty and was smelling. Bathrooms are rusty and looks very badly maintained. For the price you pay, it's definitely not worth.

Best resort in mondarmoni. Specially for children. Lots of entertainment spots inside the resort. Also they are very much alert about hygiene and cleanliness. Rooms are very clean and cozy. Sea view balconies and terrace are wonderful. Lots ridings are there for children absolutely free. Foods are awesome. Behaviour of all the staffs absolutely gentle and very caring. Pricing also very reasonable as this resort is 4 star hotel. Absolutely highly recommend.

Hotel is very good but there is no maintenance. Paid 4500/- per night but experience is very worst. In every room, the commod system is not working, Ac is also not working properly and AC's are unable to chilled the room. So my suggestion is don't waste your time and money. Please choose other hotel's.

Nice location wise but not maintained as it has to. Staff only gives an excuse due to AMPHAN they suffered a great loss but there is no changes in the prices huge hike in prices on an sympathetic ground (AMPHAN). Other than that it is all in all good

It's like they have a small world in their nutshell, the beach is more on a roaring side with more thrill and less safety. Features like spa, pool, private beach access, inland boating and Insta worthy locations!

Not worth the huge pocket pinch. Rooms are not maintained properly and quite small for such huge prices. A lot of renovation and cleaning required. Electrical plug points were not in working condition, as well as the bathroom ventilation fan.
Only pros are that it's sea-facing and that the property contains a water park (extra charges on top of tarrif)

Although the staff were great, yet the rooms, the food, were terrible.
The electrical sockets were in a dire state. Anybody out there if not careful enough, can harm themselves.

Sun city resort is one of the best resorts in Mandarmani. It includes a huge area covering ropeway, swimming pool, open roof ceremony stage, playing ground and lots of things. It's a luxurious resort with 3 type of cottages or suits. Dinning area gets the attention at the very first sight. If you want a work less peaceful vacation then this place is ideal for you. You can relief all your stress by spend some days here with your loved ones. Last but not least the food served here is awesome. It's worth giving 5 stars.

The experience was great because of the group, regarding the resort staffs were helpful. The main issue with the resort is the maintenance.the property is huge and well constructed. The pool was not clean, the cable rope, room AC was not working, we enjoyed at beach, with indoor games at boat house. Relating to food, it was great, we ordered Indian food.

Very good resort with good facilities and a private beach But poor interiors of room, not very well maintained and No bar services.

We have not taken rooms there. However we have went through it for the beach. The resort was photogenic. And also the beach alongside of it is amazing. The views are really nice.

Need lots of maintenance. Rooms are horrible. Ac not working properly. Hotel main building needs lots of cleanlyness. Garbage putting everywhere in building which is Ridiculous for 4 start hotels. 4 star mark should be removed from this hotel immediately as nowhere it reaches the mark of 4 star Hotel in measure of cleanlyness. Lizards n its pee everyehere in room. From our So Called Royal room to Staircase Passage lots of garbage n scraps there in dumps n cats n her so many baby cats stayin there happily. Can u imagine? A So called 4 star hotels Corridor is a lively place for cats n her family?

The Resort was preety good and the staff were cooperative. The Resort itself is tremendously huge having multiple attractions like the Swimming Pool, Water Park, Theme Park and the Games Room. Preety much every thing you need to stay at a resort.
The only thing it was lagging is the cleanliness. The water in the Swimming Pool was very clean but we can't say such baout the Water Park. Water in the Water Park was net very clean and the floors were not cleaned regularly. The Water Rides are not working. Only the Waterfall is the min attraction of the Water Park.
The Game room has multiple A/C's but few of them are not working so after a long hour of play when we are drenched hed in sweat we go and sit near the beach letting the breeze cool you down.
The Beach is just infront of the rooms letting cold and gentle air directly enter your rooms.
In short, this resort is the major tourist attraction of Mandarmani

Its an amazing place for a short vacation. The pool, the water park and the huge green campus are refreshing and fun to hang around. An ideal destination for a romantic endeavor or a bang for your buck if your here with your group of friends to chill.

PS- If your looking for a budget stay, come here with a group and stay at the budget friendly rooms. They are good enough for a decent short stay and almost all the services like the water park, swimming pool, indoor games and the boat ride is still complementary. There is NO WIFI service at the resort.

Was not a Great Experience was staying at Royal Room in 2nd floor Sea Faceing room 308. From 18 - 19 the tariff was set at RS 4500. The location of the resort is good.but inspite of being a Royal Suite.it had real privacy issues.plus the balcony was a common one.and the room needs real upgrading.the furnitures are quite old.which hampered the staying experience.inspite of providing a lot of.activities it
LACKS QUALITY. THE FOOD isn't good enough and the menu presents very less options. AND QUALITY & CLEANLINESS OF THE CUTLERY is a big ISSUE HERE

It's a big resort with great experience, They have their own swimming pool, Water Park, Boating.etc.

I would say it's a complete package under one roof, If you are looking for a weekend gateway with your family just give a try.

I was there in a Turtle Cottage it's a separate cottage with double bed facility and the ambience was really awesome.

Water Park:

For Kolkata residents it's a Mini Aquatica

Swimming Pool:

If you don't carry your own swim suits, Not to worry they have swim suits renting option which is reasonable in price

Restaurant:

Quality food with various option, I know the price is little high but to get luxurious facility you have to pay higher fees

PS: Don't forgot to carry slippers or it will ruin your experience.

Awesome place to stay in Mandarmani. Far away from local market. Resort have everything like boating, Water park, pool, jacuzzi etc. Food is good. Provide complimentary breakfast. A must try place to stay in Mandarmani.

Picturesque. Good Food (at least Veg food was, I can't comment on Non Veg). There were maintenance issues but staff was really helpful.
