Super Snack Bar has been like this forever.always serving good hot and tasty food.recently they added the Various Rava Dosa options.and the Bhaji Rava and Mysore rava Dosa are worth trying for every Dosa lover. The Chole bhature is just awesome.and don't forget to have cold cofee with or without icecream.

I had the pleasure of dining and was thoroughly impressed with their vegetarian offerings. The culinary creations were bursting with flavors that showcased a remarkable attention to detail.

This place is right on the opposite side of belle Veu Hospital South Indian food is great idly just melts in your mouth The price is also economical & staff are also very good mostly patients party of Belle veu eat here & spend time & can charge mobiles also always ready to help team apart from South Indian chola batura pizza & cold coffee are also good

Tasty Dishes, Mixed Review

Located just opposite Bellevue Clinic, this charming old restaurant boasts a spacious interior with ample seating, offering a variety of dishes ranging from continental and Indian to South Indian cuisine. The extensive menu includes refreshing options like lassi shakes and Italian delicacies. During my visit, I savored the delightful flavors of Butter Masala Dosa and Chola Batora, both of which were exceptionally tasty and generously portioned for two. However, the cheese pizza failed to meet my expectations, disappointing my palate. The special coffee, served in a large glass, was robust and might appeal to those who enjoy their coffee strong.

Good place for economical snacks.both south Indian and north Indian. Coffee and tea is worth tasting.

South Indian food dosa idaly are good.best part is they offer good quantity of coconut chutney

I really like going to this Super Snack Bar for eating South Indian food, especially since it is very centrally located and they make very tasty and fresh dosas, iddlies, vadas, uttapam, etc.

SuperSnack Bar was my one of my go-to places for Breakfast in Kolkata during my college days.
A lowkey place with a wide variety of South Indian Food, Fresh juices & Sandwiches. They serve Softy too. Love their Sambar vada, onion cheese masala dosa, mosambi juice, softy. For everyone who likes homemade pizza, they serve exactly that kind. Can keep visiting this place again and again for breakfast.

Person taking the order was not serious about his work. Told him specifically to make the sada Dosa crispy n i presume he forgot to pass on the instructions to kitchen. Then he took the cold drink ordered by us to another table. This is when at that time only 2 tables were to be serviced in the whole place. Food was ok. But we had better food at same place about 6 months back.

It's a nice family restaurant. Food is good and service is very fast. I had ordered for cheese masala dosa, mysore dosa, rawa onion dosa, idly sambar and fresh lime soda. No the order was not ordered in 1 single day but during my frequent visits there. All the dosa variety was good. Not great or excellent but it was good. I go there for my parents as if I was given a choice I would rather go to udipi where Dosa is much better than this. Anyway it's a nice restaurant good food, relaxed atmosphere and a great family place.

A good old place to have delicious south indian cuisine. This outlet is located on loudon street opposite bell vue hospital and serves delucious south ibdian cuisines and fresh juices. Along with south ibdian one can also have pav bhaji, chole bhature or sandwiches here. So the place can be visoted throughout the day to have tasty pocket friendly meal.

Super Snack Bar serves delicious food. Love the dosas and idly's. However, the tables would never be clean. If at all one of the staff shows mercy in cleaning the table, the cleaning cloth will stink as if it has not been washed in months. After cleaning, the stale pungent smell from the cloth will be on the table and in the air and also in the food. This does brings down the entire experience

It is a good breakfast joint. It quite clean. Food is ok. Little costly. Two things they may improve. One they serve hot tea in glass. Very difficult to hold the glass when it is full. Another thing they have one common washroom. My request please arrange for two separate washroom for male and female and keep it little more clean and top.

Nonsense place. The restaurant ceiling was leaking at places.

I have had their veg cheese sandwich and bhaji dosa both of which were good. The veg cheese sandwich is very filling and yummy, totally worth it. The bhaji dosa tasted exactly like bhaji and was quite big. The menu covers lot of variety of dishes like pizzas, chaats, sandwich, dosa, vada. The pricing is a little high though and the place has a weird smell of some chemical.

Well made dosas and dahi vadas. Good coffee too. Decent device. The pizzas could be much better though.

The food they serve is overrated also they do not accept UPI payments (their cards payment was down, I was out of cash, like who carries cash these days).

This place is just opposite Bele vue clinic, it's old restaurant opened in a big area and good interior is done, it has proper sitting arrangement, very spacious, it have all type of dishes continental indian, South Indian, lassi shake, Italian
We had ordered chola batora, butter masala dosa, cheese pizza, special coffee and colddrink.
Butter Masala Dosa and Chola Batora was damn tasty I loved it, even quantity was enough for two people.
Where cheese pizza was a disappointment i didn't like it.
Special coffee was served in big glass was very hard if you like hard coffee then you can go for it.

The vada in dahi vada was average. The idly was over cooked because of which it became mushy. The onion dosa was good.

Food quality and service is excellent with a great ambience.though the ambience can be upgraded a bit. All other things over here are upto the mark.

Good food. The seating arrangements can be a little better. Rest room is not very clean. Should have enough tissue papers.

A South Indian restaurant located in the heart of the city. Dosa lovers should try the crispy and yummy Rava Onion Dosa.

We keep going back here for the staples; idli, dosa, uttapam and their special chutney.

The space seems a bit understaffed currently and the interiors are also a bit worn out, but the food is nostalgic and the quality and taste endears

Liked the food. But little expensive. Idli n dosa were yummy. Coffee was mundane. Juice was good. Overall a happy place

Food and ambience are descent. But the prices are quite high. Even kinley water bottle costs ₹35 whose mrp is ₹20.

Probably the best place to try South Indian in Calcutta.

Good taste, clean space and fast delivery

A good restaurant if you want to eat some south indian dishes like Dosa, Idly, Vada, etc in South kolkata. They also serve variety of sandwiches, pizza as well. Food quality is good, ambience is good, place is clean. Paint of roof is quite dull. Price is not so high. Behaviour of the staffs is quite okay. Perfect place if you want to eat with family. Elderly people will enjoy.

Yesterday I brought 9 plate Idli Two plate vada, Two Plate Paw Bhaji, Two Masala Dosa and One Onion Uttapam paying total bill of 1546 including tax the chutney they gave in parcel was stale and the vada was stinking how disappointing it could be. Very bad service did not expect from super snacks bar. They cheated me. If u cannot maintain quality in lock down people will lose thier trust and stop buying from you.
Do not give stale chutneys.

A very nice restro, especially excellent for it's dosa and other South Indian dishes. The staff is courteous and food is delicious as mentioned, which makes it an appropriate destination.

Perfect for family, food is delicious, prices are very reasonable. Elderly will surely like the ambience, service and the food. Also serves hot and cold drinks. All in all a great place for an evening snack or a breakfast.

It is the oldest south indian restaurant known to me in town. Serves amazing coffee. The best south indian food. Tea was equally good. This place will not disappoint a South indian cusine lover that's for sure. The place is family and kids friendly. Staff is courteous.

This place feels like home. They serve authentic South Indian food. My favourite is a plate of aloo bonda nd Chola Bhatura.

Good place for vegetarians. Although I am not a vegetarian, I liked the food quality. I ordered dosa, which was good.

Pricey but authentic South Indian food.some of the very best I've ever had, though I must say they have no business charging more than MRP for package soft drinks.

Very expensive food. A masala dosa costs you Rs. 130 and even then it is half the size. Ordered and ice cream. It was a quality walls swirls so the price was the same as in any other shop. But the dry fruits they added in that was so stale that I could feel the bad taste of cashew like it has been left in the open for ages. Will never visit this place again.

Quality of the food is good but too much overpriced, since the large outlet is only there to serve South-Indian food. Ambience is okay. The restaurant should stop using steel plates since the plates lack the glossy touch and seems quite old. Having two pieces of Idly worth 80 INR in a shady old steel plate, really doesn't worth the money.

Good vegetarian place. If you are somewhere near to this restaurant, go and taste anything in the menu. Services are bit delayed.

Very less crowd. Pav Bhaji is not good. They say south Indian food available but most of it is unavailable at night.

The food is very good. It is tasty. You will get to eat North Indian, South Indian, beverage, cold drinks, ice creams, milk shakes, snacks etc. The service here is also very good and the environment is also very pleasant. You can come with your family and friends. The price of the food is also reasonable. I must recommend this place. You must visit once. It is just opposite to the Belle view hospital.

The Super Snacks Bar is located in a really good area which being in the main road near minto park and exactly opposite to the belle vue hospital.
This restaurant offer variety of food but their speciality is in South Indian dishes. Infact in my opinion from what ever I had, except for south Indian food only chola bhatora is worth trying here but its according to everyone's taste and preference. The south Indian food is really good and the flavour of their sambhar & chutney brings a better taste to whatever south Indian you are having.
The ambience if this place is good. The whole place is coloured in red and white theme and has nicely decorated interiors.
It is a good place to visit with family or friends for lunch or dinner.
