Swadesh Da's Canteen

Nice home style food. Best option for students. It's a night canteen in B. C Roy hostel of IIT Kgp. One will definitely like the friendly behaviour and nice food of Swadesh da. Hunger saviour. Price is also reasonable.

Food served here is better than most of the night canteens in iit kgp at a reasonable price. Also, the waiting time for food is less.

Takes time to place the order (especially for roti). The owner is a bit arrogant so I usually avoid going there. If you are not from BC Roy hall then eating after 9.30pm is not allowed as per the notice stick on the wall there. Food taste is fine.

Swadesh da and his team are superb friendly. The food is good. Opening hours are excellent (till 1: 30 - 2 am).

Very much cheaper food available compared to other places in Kgp campus. Being a Bengali, I love to take dinner from this place as they provide Bengali types of food.

Good canteen in B C Roy Hall. In IIT KGP. Food is good but not so much testy, not so much expensive.

Good food like home & fast serving. The price of the food items are less as compared to the other canteens of IIT KGP.
