Swami Vivekananda Temple

I had visited this temple, felt very peaceful and near to God arms would recommend to visit anybody go there atleast visit once

The Indian who influenced the world.with his great thoughts and speech.this is the place where he rest.his room and belongings are preserved well.near the banks of Hooghly River.

A beautiful Temple beside the Ganges, it's a bit unfortunate that taking pictures of the temple is prohibited. Ongoing constructions are everywhere as well. This place was full of History including an old mango tree, probably two centuries old if I'm not mistaken. Still looking radiant and blooming with flowers.

I am so much happy to be in the belur math, because it was my desire to see belur math at once in my life time

Swami Vivekananda Temple is one of the very sacred places at Belur Math. It is built on the place where Swami Vivekananda's cremation ash has been kept. Besides this temple there is a 'Bilwabriksha' where Swamiji used to sit and meet his gurubhais.

Excellent place for spiritually inclined people. You can spend hours together without being disturbed. But there is a lot of inflow of people. You can see the room where Swamy Vivekananda used to stay.

Swami Vivekananda was the principal devotee of Shri Shri Ram Krishna Paramhansa and founder of Belur Moth nee Rama Krishna Ashram/Moth.
A model temple has been made in memory of Swami Vivekananda, at the spot where he was cremated.

Best place to visit to watch temple of shree Ram Krishna Dev and also swami Vivekananda and many more like museum of swami Vivekananda and book store, living room of swami Vivekananda etc.

I have no word to describe such a beautiful, peaceful awesome place. The beauti of nature is mind blowing. It's my second time visiting of this place. I just love this place.

The place where Swami Vivekanand used to meditate as part of Belur Math Monk. He used to meditate under a tree. At a young age he left his body for heavenly abode. His last rites were performed at the location where now temple is built. The serenity is incredible and it is on the bank of River Ganga. Other side of Ganga is Dakhnieshwar temple. Great place to spend few hours.

A perfect place for Everyone irrespective of Age, A calm cool and piecefull place to spend time. Moreover Its reside on Bank river bengali called Hoogly or we can say Ganga. Perfect Place to visit and Must visit
