Taaz Biryani is only one nearby Kharagpur railway station to relaxingly sit and eat Biryani. But food is not very good just ok. They served Hyderabadee Biryani but it's not justified kevda flavour is still there like kalakattiya biryani.that's why I don't like it

The person at the cash counter was so rude. Biryani is okay i would say but kebabs were pathetic so was the tandoori. Someone needs to tell them that tandoori is served hot. Reshmi kebab was brown in color instead of creamy white. Rating one (that's the least possible). Waiter was more concerned than the cashier about the customers. Will not recommend this place at all.

It is most famous joint for biriyani lovers@kharagpur, quite affordable (you can get too much biriyani for a half plate) thats the good thing I love but nowadays their biriyani quality has gone worst please improve on it otherwise this restuarant will remain a so called biriyani restuarant and will gain defamation

Behaviour of the Waiter is so rude.with 100 rs half plate chicken Biriyani would not full ur appetite.i suggest you to increase the price
. Rice quantity is too small. If u want anything waiter wouldnt see u.problem is that Near Kharagpur Railway Station u would not find a right place to lunch.but i will not recomend u.

Pretty average and mediocre taste with very low in quantity in general. Not value for money at all

What i ordered?
1. Half "special" Biryani - Nothing special about it they would just add an egg. Low quantity and average in taste
2. Half Chicken Kosa - Curry was ok but the two chicken pieces provided were boney. Felt like eating left overs
3. Chicken Reshmi kabab - Decent. Only good thing was the green chutney
4. Rumali Roti- Half cooked

The 2 stars given here is because of friendliness of the staff and the ease of ordering, which was good.

This is the place which got Biriyani in Kharagpur 21 years back, which makes them one of the oldest Biriyani joint. However, their food quality is deteriorating day by day. Earlier we used to get succulent chicken and mutton pieces. Now a days, the chicken pieces are chewy and rubbery. Most of the time, mutton pieces are not well cooked and hard to chew. Feel yourself lucky if you get good chicken and mutton pieces. The chicken and mutton side dishes taste stale if you order at the daytime. Better order at night time to get freshly made side dishes. With all these, they are raising their prices day by day. With their current price tag and food quality, I won’t recommend this place. Better try Ashrafi Biriyani which is near to their restaurant. The only advantage they have over Ashrafi is that they’ve a decent place for sit and eat. If you want that better to visit Royal Biriyani in Inda.

Quite Average food quality which is going downhill. Arrogant behavior of staffs wont make you feel welcomed. Used to be good, not anymore! Not recommended.

I ordered chicken kosa and 1 plet chicken biriyani. In 1 plet you got 4 pice of chicke 1 egg.chickens are too dry not juicy if you plan to eat only biriyani from taz you will not able to because of dryness of chicken.chicken kosa was good but if you are a pure bengali then it is average test for you.chicken kabab's are too good. I recommend all to try chicken kabab. If you want to try chicken biriyani I think the prince is better option than taz at this price.

One of the best eateries in town. From the behaviour to the taste of items, they always take care personally. The owner - hassan bhai is co-operative.

Best place to have Biriyani in Kharagpur. Their Biriyani is just awesome. You can try Chicken and Mutton Biriyani. They will serve it with Salad and Raita. You may try their Chicken Chaap, it is also one of the best item. Price is also reasonable. Overall very satisfying.

If you want to eat the best biryani in khargpur then go to ashrafi biryani which is just near the taaz biryani. Taaz is only known for better interior not for good quality of biryani

One of the most famous Biryani restaurants in Kharagpur. It is recently remodeled and even taking orders from online like (Zomato, swiggy). Ambience is somewhat good as compared to previous. Have Good parking place. Good for family visit too.

In recent times Biriyani is not good enough as it was in the past few years. Price has increased but food quality has dropped. Other dishes except Biriyani are also not tasty enough.

Noisy place having a small ac dinning place. Staff are quit unprofessional and some time they ignore you if u speak in hindi. Biryani tests normal and too dry. I think this is not a pleasant experience

My suggestion is that if you are not capable of eating too much then take half plate Biryani, I think the quantity is enough for an adult.

I think this is the best Biryani I have taken ever in Kharagpur.

The place is good to have biryani. They serve you one of the famous biryanis of kgp. The quality of the food is good and the portion of the food is also good. Price is slightly costlier than other biryani restaurants but the qualtiy is good so whats the big deal.

Quility has detoriated.in comparison to other similar restaurants in Kharagpur, mainly around IITKGP area. My experience is not very good.as I ordered some & got some other.but the price was take for best.

Worst biryani guys. They just literally spray a lot of fragrance and colour. The taste is zero. Literally zero. It tastes like boiled rice and the quantity is much much less than the usual one. A big no to this restaurant

Very Poor the food quality is very cheap and they dont even give raita. Its charged extra 7/- which is completely of water no onions nothing. The mutton biryani was once known for its taste and now its gone. Better order from swiggy or zomato u will get it for 100 bucks if u take parcel or dine in there they charge 130. Pathetic service.
