Tajpur Reteat is very homely beutiful and cosy stay at Tajpur with nice and friendly staffs including manager dada.
Foods are very tasty.we enjoyed deshi murgi on request which was also enjoyed fishing at their pond.we have spent a quality family time over there.

Reasonable and pocket friendly resort. Had an amazing experience. The environment was very serene. Love to visit again ️

Worst place.
Behaviour of owner & staff are not good.
Food is not up to the mark. Far from sea beach. 15 minutes of walking distance. There are other many resorts nearby sea.
Picture of the rooms shown in the net are not same as real rooms. Broken door of bathroom. AC is old & remote doesn't work. Overall worst

If you are looking for a cozy or luxurious property in Tajpur, don’t consider this hotel. Room condition is very average furniture and fixtures are very poor. Premises is also very small they tried to decorate by using some cheap materials but their tariffs is not similar with the facility. Tariffs are like big resorts. Tajpur retreat is like motel not resort. Food is like corporate hospital.

Friendly atmosphere and wonderful hospitality by the staff. Tasteful served food with regular schedule. Superb organising plants and nature just around you. Large room with all amenities. Spend here at least 2 days for relaxing with ur near and dear.

A beautiful retreat from mundane and busy city lives! Managed by few locals, you are treated like family members, fresh foods are made to order, the cottages are super cozy, created by using ethnic building materials! The beach is only a few steps away! Enjoyed!

I love it everytime I visit! The employees are superb! Great experience, as ever! And please visit Futiyari Retreat, Purulia, an unit owned by the same owner of Tajpur Retreat! Futiari Retreat has all arrangements for adventure sports, great food, another team of dedicated allround workers! Adding photos of Futiyari Retreat as well. Both resorts, a must visit!

The ambience of the resort is not upto the mark. The compound is not maintained properly and not sea facing at all.

Very poor resort, price unnecessarily hiked. Would suggest people to NOT stay in Rajpur Retreat.

Absolutely eco friendly. Everything was good including tasty food, spacious room, running water supply & staff behavior etc. Moreover found much more lonely & decorated (specially the thatched roof & beautiful garden) rather than the other resorts there. Just a few minutes walk to the beach. Received a Holi special (with gulal & tasty sweets) offered to us, which we were overwhelmed. The only thing which we disliked was the room charge for our driver (900/ per day) which was too much.
Looking forward for another visit.

A lovely place to spend with your friends.the rooms are very spacious the rooms are very clean.and the staff are very good.

We stayed in Tajpur Retreat on 6th and 7th feb, 2020, checked out today. This was my first visit to Tajpur and I picked your resort as I liked the photos, wanted to stay in serene calm cottage.
Location: Very close to the beach.just 3-4 mins slow walking through the beautiful jungle pathway.
Room: Very nice with all amenities, only thing you need to replace the blankets, they are not clean and fresh.
Food: Awesome, on time, quite homely, tasty.kitchen ambience is also nice. Plates and bowls are clean.
Staff: Sahadeb, Suman all are very generous, kind, and humble.
Garden: seasonal flowers, birds, swing.all added to the beauty just like "picture perfect. "
BUT, since 7th around 12pm the pure meditative environment changed as a group of nearly 8 youngsters checked in. They started drinking, shouting, playing music. The boom boom sound continued till 1.45am.we being over 50 yrs could not sleep. Their car driver was asking whereabouts of alcohol shop from my husband. He suggested. "ask your people. " The driver added, he already finished a bottle given to him. Anyways, in your kitchen.it is written. " drinking is prohibited here".
Moreover in your rooms the point 9 was.we should not do anything that may disturb others.
So.pls try to keep an eye especially no one should play loud music after 10pm. We should keep it in mind that there are other boarders too.
They checked in room no 107,108 on 7th feb, 2020. They seemed to check out today after lunch. They always kept their doors open and were using slang languages. Being a mother of two young children I am embarrassed and ashamed of our society.the way our new generation is behaving!
I liked your place so very much.thats why I wrote all these.so that you may become aware of keeping your serenety intact in future. Money is not everything.
I will come back again.of course avoiding friday Saturday sunday. I believe it is our responsibility too to maintain the environment of a good resort intact.the way it is.we should not behave mindlessly.

Nice place to stay, beach is in walking distance, rooms are clean and spacious, food is good. Service is also very good. Stuffs were attentive to our requirements. Overall we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this place in Tajpur.

A well furnished resort. Ac and non Ac rooms are available there, but a little bit expensive. Sea beach is just 5min from here on foot. They have folding option too. Food quality is very good. This place can be noticed from the road. The behavior of the owner is very good.

Food is great. Apart from the frequent power disruption everything was great. DG Backup available. Staff are very hospitable.

Nice cosy place to stay with friends or family. Superb food quality but slightly overcharged. At night hotel doors are locked at 10: 30 which should be extended at least half an hour although nothing much to avail after 10 pm if you don't have your own car.

Its okk. Not so much good at all. Staff are not cooperative. They are not giving proper service on time. Delaying to serve food and snacks on time to time. All time inform on reception its really hectic.

Toilets are not clean, Room & Room Service need a lot of improvement. The Pics shown at the website does not match with the original one

This was the bestest trip of my life.and that would not be possible if our stay wasn't good. I would definitely recommend tajpur retreat if u are visiting tajpur.this place is just amazing.very near from the beach.very clean and well maintained.they serve food according to your choices and its delicious.and staffs and room service is so humble.

We stayed at this hotel on 7/6/19. All the staffs were very helpful and courteous. Facilities and food were excellent.

The hotel Tajpur Retreat is awful. It's a veritable zoo. Cockroaches, lizards in hotel rooms found aplenty. Come at your own risk.

Rooms could be cleaner. Floors were littered wiith mud stains and dried dung pieces. Service staff need to be little more attentive towards guests. But overall decent establishment with some scope of improvement.

Excellent place. Foot step ahead beach is situated. Good food quality and taste is good. Goodly cleaned and well furnished rooms.

The resort is surely a retreat and true to its name. Well placed, accessible, situated close to beach just 5mins walking through the dense pine trees lining the shore. The rooms are well maintained and also has a restaurant onsite. The staff are well behaved and definitely their friendly hospitality makes one to justify the higher costs. But you would not be dissatisfied due to homely cooking and excellent amenities.
