Hi guys, want to share my experience in tantra. I would not recommend anyone to choose it. Bouncers and the manager (Arijit sarkar) behaviour was too unprofessional. When the crowd has started to come they said me and my friends to leave the place stating that we misbehaved with people. They wanted us to go so that they can add more people inside as the place was crowded.
Our paid money 1500 per person got wasted. It's highly disappointing and unprofessional and threatening behaviour.
When we asked what's the reaon and proof for the same then they started ignoring us and threatening us to leave.

I don't have option to put 0 star that's why kept 1star.

Look for other option, They disrespect people.

Most pathetic bar you will see in Kolkata. Poor staff behavior and poor management
They will take money and wont put stamp and when you go out by any chance they won't let you inside and ask for another charge to go inside.
This is their tactics to harass people.
Roxy is better then this.
Dont go if you are young with a lady.they literally dint let me in and my friend was inside alone.

My visit to Tantra in Kolkata was an interesting experience. The club is known for its upscale vibe, but it does come with a hefty price tag. The DJ's performance was undoubtedly a highlight, delivering a memorable night with great music.

However, I found that aside from the music, the overall experience was just "okayish. " The high cover charge of around 2,000 rupees was quite steep and left me expecting more in terms of ambiance and service.

While Tantra might be an attractive option for those looking to splurge on a night out in Kolkata, it's important to be prepared for the expense. If you're a music enthusiast looking for a top-notch DJ, it could be worth it, but keep in mind that the overall value may not match the price for everyone.

As the evening unfolds, the pub comes alive with live music performances and trivia nights that add an extra layer of excitement. Foods and ambience are also very good.

Very nice atmosphere but it's very costly and price increases as the night passes. Good to enjoy the disco vibes, drinks, dance, hookah and food. One of the best party atmosphere in Kolkata

Third class club with no management at all. People fight and act like they own this club. No manners and very unsafe place for partying. Do not ever go to this place and look for better places to party. The bouncers only support the high paying customers and won't care who's right or wrong. Avoid this place unless u feel like being insulted.
They also over charge you once you're drunk. Don't ever spend your money in this club. Go to other better places in Kolkata

Coming to dance floor - You can only dance when you have your gf along with you.
Neither group of boys nor individual boy can dance else the bouncer will without your concern hold your collars and will kick you out.

It was a nice place to enjoy, but a bit costlier.
One mandatory thing, a girls company is mandatory else you can't enjoy.the dance floor gets going after 11 only.

Place is small but good. Just a regular pub at a posh location. DJ was okay. Visited Saturday night. No one went to the dance floor untill 12: 30 and the the floor space feels less as u can't dance freely without hitting someone: p

Dj is awesome. But very smoky. Drink expensive but awesome. Beautiful dance floor. Overall very enjoyable place.

It's not like before anymore. Specially on Friday and Saturday. Friday is ladies night but the people will not take your order, they will wait till you go away and suddenly they will declare ladies night is over. Behavior of the staffs are horrible as if u r invisible. On Saturday they will take your order and u will receive it after 15 mints. Crowd quality has gone down than before.

I love this place very diverse and open minded. Unlike their neighbours. The music is nice too. If u are a black guy visiting Kolkata, thos is the place.

In my opinion, the best club in Calcutta.the music is hip and contemporary and the crowd is great.if you are single this is the place for you to meet new people.dance the night away and take an uber back home.thrills and frills and great cocktail.express yourself on the dance floor and feel the liberating essence of letting yourself go.

One of the best night club in Kolkata, very spacious dance floor with sitting areas on lounge and 1st floor huge liquor counter at middle, full of laser lights which make the place an ideal disco club, it's most special days are 24th & 31st December when party people gather to enjoy the night with DJ.a bit expensive (Bira beer small 990,30 ml Royal challenge 1000,1lit water 160)

Great club. Really nice DJ. Sufficient space to dance and couches to sit on a normal day. Open till 1: 30am on friday.

Place for energetic people who want to party hard after a busy day. It is one of the most popular & old place. Service takes bit long on busy hours.
