Though they have done building as "tarangamala maharaja " with all hight aminities.

Recommended for budget friendly tour with family & friends.

I heard that this resort is the oldest resort in Mandarmani. But my experience is bad.
The resort's rooms are decent, not too fancy.
The food system is very bad.
No one comes into the room to ask what is needed or if anything is needed.
There is no food menu, you have to eat whatever they make.
It's just that the sea is a bit closer and no one will say a word as you sit in the resort's thatched seating areas and drink wine or tea late into the night.
Because everyone in the resort is asleep, it is more likely that no one will be in any danger.

So understand and go.

Tarangmala Resort, the environment here is very calm and clean. The rooms here are clean air-conditioned. Will feel safe coming here with family. There is also a very beautiful big pond in this resort where you can enjoy swimming as well. There is also a restaurant where you can enjoy a variety of cuisines. The beach is very close to the resort.

Very good experience. Clean rooms, good food and service. The location is especially very good, the sea is very close. I liked the cottage rooms, which are unlike the big hotels surrounding the place.

The place is really good and spacious - one of the biggest resorts in Bengal. However, more maintenance is needed in some of the cottages and rooms. On the costlier side as compared to the other resorts.
Food is outstanding. The staff is courteous. Is located just beside the sea. Rooms right above the reception has brilliant sea views. Boating, swimming pool and games are available. However, the amusement park should be opened and be available for use

Stay was good. Went there with friends and family. Place is a approx 7kms away from chawal khola more and the main beach. Which I would say is good if you like nature and a vilage like environment.

Rooms were clean and the food was also really good. Although there are some small shops offering snacks at the beach but those are really bad, i tried and regretted.

Chicken pakora and Noodles are good evening snacks at the resort, which we tried. Alcohol and beer can also ordered according to the preference and the sitting area next to the pond creates really a nice ambience.

TV was non functional and was not fixed, till the time we left, but that was not much of a problem as we mainly stayed outside chatting with friends.

And above all it is economical and I would definitely recommend this place for a quite weekend getaways.

Best stay in Mandarmani. Everyone's behaviour was good. Food was good too. Much recommended.

Comfortable, spacious, neat and clean rooms!
On the pristine beach!
Food quality and quantity is something more than excellent!
Beautifully decorated exterior with garden, natural pond, children's play area, etc.
Within the budget of middle class families.
Very polite and helpful staff and management!
In one word its an "excellent" place to spend your good days.
Only drawback it is situated approx 6 km away from the Mandarmani Main Beach and Market. If you are on your own car or bike, I don't think there is any other better option than Tarangamala Beach Resort.

For a peaceful vacation, thia is the best place at a reasonable fare. Ac and non ac available, food and stationary available beside the guest house.

If Neat and Clean had another name it should be Belur Math.

No pun intended.

Like the way Belur Math is clean this place is clean too.

Sheets - clean
Room - clean
Food - clean and good
Ambiance - clean but during night expect few visitors - frogs, insects but it's okay they don't enter your room they are trained.
Sea Beach view - negative but you can access it easily. And there is a shack just outside the hotel for your snacks needs and all.
Pool - no, they have a Desi version of it which we call Pukur. It's clean too you can take a dip if you like but ask first.
Parking - Ample space it's just outside the gate and it's safe.
Room service - excellent
Manager - he is a gem
Booze - bring your own and smokes too. Don't take any chances and chips too.

Tarangamala was better now this time the feel was not that good but still it is better than other resorts at this price range.

Old hotel rooms. Rains inside the room when it's raining outside. Bathroom r very dirty, I had Tod's in our room. And the staff behavior is very rude and awful. We were late for check out by 20 minutes. The manager was screaming on us. Worst behavior ever got from any hotel facility. Please avoid this hotel. There are far better and good quality hotels near by. Even they do not have proper car parking facility. Please avoid this hotel/ semi resort.

The property and service are their two biggest plus points followed by affordability. All their staff are courteous, fast and caring. It's because of their service our trip was turned out to be a pleasant experience. Every time we asked for something, they came running even during heavy rain, that too with a polite smile on their faces.

Food is tasty, affordable, and fast! Even if you don't plan to go out or visit during the rainy season, you can spend your day amidst the lush greenery of the resort without getting bored. They have a semi-private access to the beach which is just a 3 minutes walk to from the resort through a private corridor. Would definitely recommend for families and friends.

The hotel is very bad.
1. Room is ok
2. They don't provide any room service. You can't have lunch and dinner at the room.
3. Beach is obstructed due to construction work. Can't go to the beach.
4. Behaviour of management and stuff is very rude.
& At this price you will get better location with better hotel.
Really very very bad experience overall.

I visited the resort yesterday.
• The resort will be the best place for relaxation at weekends.
• The rooms are very spacious with all facilities available.
• The resort is too close to the Mandarmuni beach (300 m)
• The resort has a restaurant which offers nice food. (Veg and Non Veg). Even, it has room service.
• The staffs have polite behavior.
• Highly recommended for family, couples and group travelers.

It is located 2-3 mins walking distance from the beach. Road condition and public communication is not that good. However compared to tariff, rooms and services were good. Behaviour of the manager is good and he's very helpful. Good place for a weekend trip.

Spacious cottages and huts that are good for a weekend's stay. Best part pets are allowed and a cosy porch outside to hang and chill with your friends. The beach is just five minutes walk from the premises. Overall good experience.

Poorest service. Very unprofessional staffs. No reception. No service. No professionalism at all. Never recommend anyone for this resort.

First of all their service is very poor. Not a place to visit with your family. The service is very poor.and most important of all is their behaviour. Few drunk bachelors was taunting my sister the caretaker didn’t even oppose and further more when complained to him of not visiting this place again he was rude enough to say you need to. We had to carry out own water and stuffs every time. They don’t even provide room service. I had a very bad experience with my family. Think twice before visiting this place. Very I’ll mannered manager and staffs.

Most worst experience with this hotel. Area or location is too good but service & behavior of the Manager is worst, actually he don't know how to behave with the guest. Driver's room is nothing but a GOUSHALA. Cow would not be able to stay there for a moment only. Rooms are most uncomfortable, Air Conditioners are not working. Hotel claiming FREE PARKING but there was no parking slot at all. Room amenities are not available, even towel, bed sheets are untidy.only location near beach. My humble request to the owner is to look into the matter.

Scary time to stay here. No safety measures are taken to avoid snakes, frogs, insects entering your room. Food was horrible. No proper bills are provided.

Nice place to be with family and friends. Seems to be taking care of the environment and neighbourhood. Good people to stay with

Distance from sea beach is about 100 meters. Nice Atmosphere. Rooms are ok. Service is very good. Food tastes homely. Overall a good resort.

Guys if you want to be cheated pls select this useless hotel for your vacation. It is cheap and staff are rude. Since this hotel is far from the beach you can look at others staying in beach side hotels and enjoying the sea. But most importantly my friends is the food, if you need a stomach ache then please be a guest in this cheap and ghostly hotel!

আজকের দিনে চাউলখোলা থেকে অনেক দূর মনে হলেও, আগামী দিনে তাজপুর মন্দারমণি ব্রীজটা তৈরি হয়ে গেলে যাতায়াত সহজ হয়ে যাবে।

We have been going to this resort for last 15 years and its been a permanent destination for us whenever we go to Mandarmoni. The place, ambience, food, service is in one word is great. Highly recommended for those who loves nature and not those types of rose Valley, sana Beach etc

This is our second visit to this resort. I will say that this time everything has deteriorated compared to my last visit within a span of 9 months. No good room service, no adequate amount of food, few staff has left Tarangamala also.

খুব ভালো একটি রিসর্ট। যেখানে একান্তে নিরিবিলিতে কিছুটা সময় যেমন কাটানো যায় সেরকমই সবাই মিলে গিয়েও ভালো সময় কাটানো যায়। একবারে সমুদ্রের ধারে নয়। খাবার অসাধারন বলব না তবে ভালো বলা যায়। মোটামুটি কম দামের মধ্যে সবথেকে ভালো রিসর্ট যদি হয় সেটা তরঙ্গমালা।

Wonderful place, Happy to help friendly staff, good staff support, nice family cottage, wide open compaund, planty space for the kids to play arround. Overall very good experience for a nice weekend to spend with your friends and family.

The food disservice a separate mention. Well cooked traditional Bengali cuisine. Malai Curry and Mutton curry are must try.
Reasonable pricing.

Only disadvantage is that it's approximately 5km away from the main center of Mandarmoni,

This place is so beautiful, its rooms and atmosphere is so much peaceful.its staffs are so much helpful and nice.its foods are awasome.if you really want some quality time with your family or friends or your loved ones its place is perfect for hang out.

It was a very good experience to stay here for a weekend trip trip. The location is great. Also ambience is very beautiful.
Food is very tasty and yummy.
Also price is very reasonable

A budget friendly resort (Eco hut) at Mandarmani sea beach, far away from the Dadanpatrabar & main Mandarmani. It had its own pond & Jhaubon inside the properties. The staff behaviour is good. But the hospitality & food quality had faded with the due time course. There is no provision of room delivery of food which is no longer acceptable.

Visited 4 times in Tarangamala from 2016 onwards when there was no road beside it. One bad thing about the hotel is they provide some package during any festival like Holi, new year eve etc, which is extremely overpriced & not worthy.

They will arrange bonfire @ a cost of 800-1200 (depending upon season) which is overpriced as there was no bar-b-que grill & the cost of chicken is extra, compared to 3 star resorts in Mandarmani.

Best for budget friendly groups except holidays & occasions.

A bit far from the bus stop, but great location. The property is vast, green and beautiful and yes adjacent to beach. Manager and staffs are very courteous and well behaved.
The highlight of this place is the homely food that you get. Their chicken Kassa and rice is honestly one of the comfort foods that will remind you of your home.
Must try: crab masala, pomfret fry, puri cholar dal and chicken and veg pakora.

However they follow a strict timing in terms of serving food, but you can always get it in your room.

Beach is hardly 2-3 mins walk and they almost have all the soft drinks land snacks option with them.
Ohh yes, you get a shack in front of your room where afternoons and evenings can be spent playing board games or drinking with your group.

Overall nice place to be and yes it's affordable.

Been there after 10 long years. And the experience was exactly how it was 10 years before. The staffs will make you feel like you elare in your own home. Every thing clean and sanitized. Between every high class resorts, it has its own home like charm. ️

This resort is in really good condition. The location is good. They have a pond in their resort, a Jhaubon with lots of hammock tied with trees to chill with friends and family. The ideal place for staying with family and friends. The prices are suitable for the service they provide. The staffs are really helpful, they will provide you everything you want. The food is tasty and awesome here, it's like homemade food. The meals not so expensive.
The room and food comes with very affordable price. Also, you can order from their menu which has a variety of options. Book earlier, because at peak season it's hard to get rooms. The resort it very beautiful and full of natural beauty.
If you want to spend a quality time near the sea with natural environment and minimum expenses, go for this resort. Enjoy life.

If you're looking for a perfect location, trees, less crowded beach and good service then this is perfect. But If you're looking for luxury then this won't be the perfect pick for you. We stayed here for two days, we were a group of 15 people. Nice food, nice location, nice staff. This place is very soothing, there's a pond in the property (not a swimming pool). Its covered in big area where you'd love to spend more time in lawn instead of room, on a positive note. For me, its cheap and best.

মন্দারমনির অনেক নামী দামী রিসর্ট এর মাঝে অন্যতম সেরা বাজেট রিসর্ট। অত্যন্ত খোলামেলা, বাচ্চাদের খেলাধুলার প্রচুর জায়গা। ঘর ও বাথরুম পরিষ্কার। রান্নাও ভীষণ ভালো। ঘরোয়া পরিবেশ।

তরঙ্গমালা রিসোর্ট, অনেক জায়গায় ঘুরতে গেছি কিন্তু এখানকার পরিবেশ, আতিথেয়তা আর সর্বোপরি খাওয়াদাওয়া এককথায় অসাধারণ!
অনেকে হয়তো ভাবেন মন্দারমণি খুব কস্টলি, কিন্তু আমার নিজস্য অভিজ্ঞতা বলছে এটা দিঘার থেকেও সস্তা!
আর একটা কথা যদি নির্জনতা ভালোবাসেন তবেই যাবেন মন্দারমণি!

Place is homely and the food is awesome with reasonable price. Sea Beach is only 10 mins from resort. Hotel staffs are very good with special thanks to manager Mr. Samjay Maity for his co-operation.

Good budget resort, best for groups. Rooms are clean and the food is homely which is the best part. <br/>Resort is a bit far from the main Mandarmani beach and shopping area (7kms). <br/>It would be an great experience if you like village like experience, however if you are expecting a luxury stay, its better that you look for other alternatives. <br/>Will definitely visit this place again!

Awesome atmosphere, adjacent to sea beach. Freindly staff always fulfilled our needs. Rooms are spacious and cleaned. Foods are also delightful. Thanks to Mr. Maity (Guest House Manager) to ensure our comfortness.

Total value for money.excellent service, cordial and courteous manner of the staffs, excellent food (nothing fancy but well cooked hygienic & fresh food served piping hot), rooms and washrooms are clean and well maintained.manicured gardens all around gives a soothing feel about this place.a waterbody within the arena can be enjoyed from the small thached sitting areas, each alloted for every 2 cottages.there is direct access to the beach from the hotel premises though a patch of tamarisk (jhau) trees each having a hammock tied to it.you can spend quite a while swinging in those hammocks enjoying the swirling sea breeze and tweeting of birds.all in all just fantastic, very nice experience.will be back soon.
