It's an authentic and famous sweet shop. They have hundreds of variety available. The best one are Kulfi, Soan papdi, Milkcake, Kaju Barfi and Mango Kalakand.

Had tried the Dahi Gujiya Vada there on 24th August, the servers were not wearing masks and nor the cashier. The dishes used to serve the Dahi vada was a fibre plate and not a use & throw one. Hence it was not hygienic, the taste was also nothing noticeable due to bland flavour. Hence, due to unhygienic conditions, it's not recommended.

Favourite sweet shop for their gulab jamuns. You can never have enough of this item according to me.

This is the best place for the sweet lovers. Try Jaggery Rasgullas and Samosas. You will 100% love it.

South Calcutta outlet of the famous Tewari chain of shops. It is famous for its snacks and sweets. Located on the junction of a very busy main road, parking problem. Else everything is fine.

The food looks good but taste like 2 stared food and the chocolate flavoured sweet was made in such a way that the customer may think it is filled with chocolate but actually there is not even a drop of chocolate sauce there only a bit of chocolate suace was there at the top.

The place is known for its highly rich sweets and samosa (not oil fried but fried in desi ghee). I bought milk cake from this place and it was really good I must say. Very tasty and well prepared. Good taste.

Purchased today laddus, amriti after a long time to enjoy ghee sweets which I had before but very disappointing. Amriti smells of oil and laddus are very oily and no smell of ghee. Before when I entered or passed by tewari minto park, I used to get smell of ghee. But now it is not. Again mentioning very disappointing.

Delicious desi ghee Indian sweets, the laddoo, Soan Papdi and other desi ghee products are a must try from this place. This brand is extremely popular in Kolkata for making good quality sweets.

This reputed confectioner makes really good quality sweets and snacks. They use pure ghee in all their food products and that's the reason why the price of their foods is higher than other similar confectioners in Kolkata. It's situated at a prominent location at AJC Bose Road, near Minto Park. This shop has a prepaid system, first pay, then eat policy. The service is good and the staffs are polite as well. However, it's not a big shop and the sitting space is very limited. Recommended.

The sammosa n kachori are served with a thick chutney which it self is a speciality.
There is an option to sit and have the delicacies or to take them from the counter.
The staff is quite polite and helpful. N also helps out ladies or old ppl to carry packages to the car or taxi.
Parking is a concern. You can park in the lane beside. But have to drive all around elgin road to pick up.

The laddoo here is amazing, of pure ghee. Very tasty little steep price for original ingredients. Even kaju barfi is very tasty.

Nice rasgulla and laddoo, but the jalebi was sickeningly sweet. But thats probably just the Kolkata way.

Famed samosas of Tewari is a must-have while you are in Kolkata. Also, you can try bedmi Puri and other Bengali sweets available at the shop.
